Criss Angel is on a quest to bring magic into our lives through extreme entertainment that he calls "mindfreak." He believes today's magicians are for the most part archaic and out of touch with society. He plans to change that with amazing feats, including being set ablaze for 46 seconds with very little protection and levitating people right on the street to death-defying escapes and even more slight-of-hand acts.

#1 - Building Walk
Season 1 - Episode 12 - Aired Sep 28, 2005
One of the most precarious stunts in the series, Criss will lean over the side of the 55th floor of the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas at unbelievable angles. More astounding still, he will walk down the side of the building with no wires or harnesses, and without the benefit of safety netting.

Why did the chicken cross the road? He didn't want Criss to make him dissapear. He already made an elephant dissapear. What else is there? Turn a cage handler into a tiger. Make the pachyderm (elephant) reappear. Also he'll take you into Siegfried and Roy's secret garden.

Criss heads to a carnival where he makes coins appear from everywhere and completely fools a weight guesser. He attempts to have a woman crawl through him. In the finale, Criss will be tied to the tracks of a roller coaster and will have to escape before it runs him over.

Criss turns a little girl's Barbie into a real woman and then transforms himself back into a kid. Criss demonstrates tricks for kids from the Make-A-Wish foundation and surprises them all when he dresses as Santa Claus and makes a truck of toys appear out of nowhere.

Criss invites skeptics to be part of a deadly challenge. These skeptics get to lead a blindfolded Criss to four elevator doors, one of which hides an empty shaft. Using mentalism, Criss must predict which three of the four are safe to enter. If he is wrong, he will likely fall to his death.

With Criss' chaotic schedule, including his live performance of Believe ten times each week, the taping of his hit TV series and moving into Serenity, his new home, Criss decides to escape the city for the Valley of fire deep into the Mojave desert. In this remote and mystical place, Criss will attempt to miraculously levitate more than 100 feet (30 m) up into the sky and then vanish.

Season Two of Mindfreak kicks off with a stunt so amazing, it defies comprehension. Criss floats from one building to another in front of a crowd during the middle of the day. Criss Angel also shows off an amazing light bulb float using kinetic energy, lifts a kid right off the pavement in a parking lot by sticking his hand to the kid's head, and he also harnesses the power of static electricity among a crowd to levitate them off the ground in the middle of a park.

At the monumental Grand Canyon Sky Walk, in front of more than one thousand onlookers, Criss is shackled and locked inside a confining solid crate except for holes to view his face and hands at all times. The crate is then hoisted over the edge of the canyon more than 4,200 feet above the Colorado River. Criss reveals his process of escape but if he does not succeed in time, he will fatally crash to the rocky depths below.

For the trick, Criss will be locked in an crate filled with explosives that will be operated by Teller, of Penn and Teller.
