The temporarily suspended police officer Hanne Wilhelmsen is on a train from Stockholm on the way to Narvik when a snowstorm and avalanche forces her and the other passengers on the train to seek shelter in an old isolated mountain hotel located nearby. It doesn't take long before mysterious murders start happening at the hotel and despite his suspension, Hanne takes it upon himself to get to the bottom of what happened. The doctor Magnus desperately wants to protect his teenage daughter and her friends, and becomes Hanne's pillar of support.
