Best of Luck Nikki is a Disney Channel India sitcom, which premiered April 3, 2011. The series is an Indian adaptation of the American show Good Luck Charlie. The show's storyline, promos and even title sequence are similar to Good Luck Charlie. The pilot, however, is different from the American one for the lead character of Nikki (similar to baby 'Charlie' in 'Good Luck Charlie') was born in the second episode. The series was created by Phil Baker and Drew Vaupen, who wanted to create a program that would appeal to entire families, as opposed to children only. It revolves around a Sikh family, the Singhs, as they try to adjust to the birth of their fourth child, Nikki Singh. In each episode, Dolly Singh (Sheena Bajaj) creates a video diary containing advice for Nikki about their family and life as a teenager. Dolly tries to show Nikki what she might go through in the video diary so she can always know how to figure things out when she gets older, when she wouldn't be around.

Avtaar is acting unfairly stubborn and won't let his “little girl” practice driving, so Dolly goes behind his back and offers to drive Roli aunty around to get in more hours behind the wheel. They first run out of gas then get stuck in the mud, so Dolly comes home a muddy mess - and walks into a surprise 16th birthday party that her family is throwing her. Meanwhile, Sunny brings home a huge dog that Himani does not want in the house - until she realizes just how sweet he is. When the dog's rightful owner shows up to take him home, Himani is left heartbroken.

Himani is desperately trying to potty train Nikki in advance of her big interview with an exclusive preschool. As the Singhs try to cope without power and water, Rohan and Sunny create a haven in their bedroom by hooking up all their electronics to an extension cord - from Roli auntys house. Meanwhile, Dolly helps Pam prepare for an online chat with Gaurav, a cute boy she likes - but when the power goes out, Pam can't get on video chat, so Dolly decides to invite Gaurav over instead.

Season 2 - Episode 30 - Aired 1/1/2013
Now that Dolly and Rahul have to work together at Super Adventure Land, Dolly discovers that she has feelings for him again. However, Himani and Avtaar buy Dolly a scooty so she won't have to work there anymore, because they feel bad that she's stuck with Rahull. Meanwhile, Rohan asks for his birth cerficate for a class trip to Paris, so Himani and Avtaar finally have to reveal the truth to him - that Rohan’s actual name is Rohini in his birth certificate, but Avtaar's handwriting was so bad that it came back as Rohini on the birth certificate, and Avtaar never got around to changing it. Also, Sunny is mysteriously collecting cans for money, and Avtaar isn't buying it when he says it's for a new video game system.

The Singh family is still living in a temporary house as their old home is destroyed by termites. They plan on shifting to a new dream house, but Nikki manages to get them back home to their old home again !!!

Dolly moves her study date with a cute boy (Ritesh) from the library to home because she has to help Avtaar take care of Nikki when Himani goes back to work. Avtaar injures himself falling down the stairs, so Rohan has to take him to the hospital where Himani works, leaving Dolly to watch Nikki.
