Scooby-Doo and the gang are back for a modern version of the franchise that has been entertaining kids and adults for decades. In "Be Cool," Scooby and his friends -- Fred, Shaggy, Daphne and Velma -- hit the road in the Mystery Machine after high school ends to live it up one last summer before adulthood. But, as is to be expected, it's not all fun and games for the crew members, who must deal with monsters and mayhem along the way. Working together, they hope to solve any mystery that gets thrown at them.

While Scrooge's lack of articulateness and Fred's grudge against raccoons keeps the gang occupied, Velma discovers that the ghosts are not only there to show Scrooge the error of his ways. It seems the ghosts want to show her that her life would be far better without being oppressed by the gang's obsession with mysteries.

The gang visits a strange town on Halloween night to celebrate the holiday, but the festivities are soon interrupted when Shaggy and Scooby run into a witch's house while trick or treating. Much to the gang's surprise, Fred reveals that he ran into this same witch 11 years ago and has been afraid to solve a mystery on Halloween ever since. In the process of solving the mystery, the gang tries to convince Fred that it is possible to solve a mystery on Halloween night despite his superstitious belief.

It seems though, that Captain Cutler has changed his ways, when he requests their help in capturing Half-Beard, a ghost who is scaring all the customers away from Cutler's restaurant.

The gang has to trade their detective caps for spy gear in order to stop the supervillains from permanently eliminating breakfast from the menu!
