Balthazar is a victim of racism, arrested for crimes he never committed. Jayme, in turn, is found guilty for having raped his niece Carolina, ten years before the trial. Seven years go by, the four of them are released after serving their sentences and are faced with the consequences of their imprisonment. These four independent stories are intertwined and raise the question: what does it mean for justice to be served in a country like Brazil?
