He decides to house them at the school, without knowing that the director Jules Bériot hides there a press used for the production of leaflets favorable to the Resistance. Sub-prefect Servier gives Marchetti a list of 28 names: foreign Jews present in Villeneuve whom the Germans have asked them to arrest.
