#1 - Riders of the Storm
Heartbeat - Season 3 - Episode 2
Convict Stevie Walsh is released from prison and is on a train back to Aidensfield to see his wife and to finish some unfinished business. In the night Aidensfield gets cut off as a severe snow storm and the whole are is unreachable. The train heading for Aidensfield then crashes when the signals fail. Nick is alone and can't get police assistance, so its up to him alone to organise a rescue mission with the villagers including Claude and George to help the passengers and see to the injured which include Gina's brother, Barry and Alex, who has suffered a head injury. The injured are taken to the village hall by the villagers until outside help can reach them. Meanwhile Kate is called out by a man, whose partner - Ellen and Walsh's ex-wife is in labour and about to give birth. To Ellen's distress, Stevie helps her and Kate when they get trapped in the snow on the way to hospital, and they end up with the train passengers in the village hall where the Kate delivers the baby. Heartbeat - Season 6 - Episode 1
Derek Ramsey's loses his temper during a domestic row at home and storms off down the pub. He drinks heavily and Phil asks him to leave. But Derek ends up assaulting Phil, Nick and Alf. He is sentenced to 28 days, but as Phil and Alf are taking him to jail he escapes, much to Blaketon's disgust! Derek made the escape to get back to his girlfriend who is in danger. Greengrass is working as a lollipop man until an out break of pilfering occurs at the school, and he's told to leave. Claude is offended and angry at Nick because he thinks it was him who got him the sack, when really it was the Headmistress of the school who thought Claude was the guilty party.-Which of course he wasn't.

Heartbeat - Season 4 - Episode 4
Nick and Alf go on a fishing trip to Whitby. Alf is looking forward to a weeks holiday but Nick is there undercover to investigate smuggling. Nick finds out that a container dumped at sea contains counterfeit money. Alf teaches Nick about fishing and they organise a game of poker with some of the suspected smugglers. Nick takes this opportunity to force his opponent to hand over some of the counterfeit money. They are lodging with the Stirling's who own a sailing shop. Jake Stirling helps Nick and Alf set a trap for the smugglers and they are caught. Jake's girlfriend finds out she's pregnant and he wants her to have an abortion. Kate tells her its illegal. Blaketon is taking over Nick's patch while he's away which gives him a great opportunity to keep an eye on Greengrass. However he fails to find out that he's doing a very good trade in venison!

Heartbeat - Season 4 - Episode 16
Lady Whitly complains that she has had Christmas trees stolen. Kate is treating a young boy with breathing problems. His brother and sister are the ones selling the stolen Christmas trees to make money to send their brother to Switzerland which would benefit his health. Lady Whitly at first refuses to drop the charges against the children but later has a change of heart. Kate asks Claude to play Santa and he reluctantly agrees. Nick forgets to buy the turkey so he ends up buying a huge one from Claude! Thinking Blaketon would be alone at Christmas, Nick asks him to Christmas dinner, but he ends up bringing his son along as well. Kate knew nothing about the invitation so she looks a little surprised when she finds out they're cooking for four!

Heartbeat - Season 4 - Episode 10
The hours Kate is working in Whitby is putting a strain on her relationship with Nick. At the moment she is rarely at home except for weekends. Ron Cooper ends up in hospital from a breech explosion from his Lee Enfield .303 Army Riffle. Nick investigates as to why he had the gun in the first place and eventually finds hoards of old army ammunition at Cooper's farm. Greengrass has got hold of some grenades which he uses to clear Lord Ashfordly's river of most of his trout. Mrs Swinton thinks she's pregnant and Kate gives her some pills, which will determine whether she's pregnant or not by the next day. We later see Kate taking them, she tells James that she's pregnant, but she's less than pleased with the idea. She attempts to tell Nick but backs down.

#7 - What the Butler Saw
Heartbeat - Season 7 - Episode 11
A man has been shot on the moors. A man named Ruxby was in the vicinity when the incident occurred, so he becomes a suspect. It turns out that he was only shooting rabbits at the time. One of Maggie's patients gets a new butler, but Eileen becomes suspicious when a few items go missing. Other thefts have occurred including a stolen pool table that is sold on to Claude. Gina is also thrilled to learn that she is now the licensee of the pub, but she feels Steve is trying to take over. Greengrass arranges to take bets on a pool game.It turns out that the butler had been going under a number of false identities and had been responsible for the shooting and burglaries. Nick tells Claude the pool table is stolen and its taken away. Claude has to find a replacement, and he does, but its a snooker table he later realises the balls are too big for the pockets! Maggie is surprised when her husband turns up in Ashfordly.
#8 - Bang to Rights
Heartbeat - Season 2 - Episode 6
Rosie, the wife of local villain, Terry Tinniswood takes an overdose and Nick and Kate are left minding her children. Once she's recovered, Rosie tells Nick her husband is in jail for a crime he didn't commit. Nick finds evidence to support Rosie's claims that her husband was fitted up, possibly by Nick's predecessor in Aidensfield, Rowley Carsons who suddenly retired from the force. Blaketon warns Nick and tells him to leave it, insisting Carsons retired because he had Cancer. Nick who now believes that there was some sort of cover up persists with his investigation. Carsons turns up and confesses to fitting Tinniswood up by planting evidence in his truck. Meanwhile Phil is to marry his girlfriend who says she's pregnant. but he later finds that she has been seeing her ex-boyfriend who turns out to be the man who beat up Phil at his stag night.
#9 - Catch Us If You Can
Heartbeat - Season 6 - Episode 8
Juke boxes are sold to all the local pubs, but the main supplier makes sure that they are the only ones to buy from. They do this by having two bikers smash up any other machines. Including the one in the Aidensfield Arms that Claude's mate had installed. Nick asks Gina to help with an under cover operation to catch the culprits. Alf goes to his would be son in law's stag night where all his drinks get spiked. He ends up spending the night in a cell because he can't go home to Mrs Ventress! There's still tension between Nick and Jo.
#10 - Endangered Species
Heartbeat - Season 3 - Episode 8
Mentally handicapped man - David Stockwell who lives with his elderly mother hears dogs barking in the woods at night and goes to investigate, but his mother follows him and gets injured in a hit and run when a Land Rover cuts her down in the woods. David runs to the pub for help and Nick and Kate get David's mother to the hospital. Nick asks David what happened and he tells Nick about the dogs and the Land Rover, however the next morning after David speaks to his mother his story changes and he insists she only fell. Nick suspects his mother is protecting someone and goes to the hospital to talk to her, but she also insists she fell. Nick is still suspicious and continues his investigation into the accident. Meanwhile David finds an injured badger in the wood and takes it home and with Kate's help nurses it back to good health. Nick meanwhile suspects the Land Rover was driven by badger baiter's and Claude shows him a recently dug up badger set near David's home. Nick then goes to see
#11 - Dead Ringer
Heartbeat - Season 3 - Episode 3
Phil goes to meet a girl while he should be on his beat, at the same time a pawn brokers in Ashfordly is broken into. Following a tip-off, Nick learns that the stolen goods are hidden in a lock up rented in Phil's name. Nick realises that someone is trying to frame Phil, but Blaketon suspends him pending further inquiries. Meanwhile Greengrass gets involved in a betting scam, which involves substituting one greyhound with another. A local man called Scarman is the instigator of this plan, and Nick discovers that Scarman's girlfriend is in fact the girl that Phil is seeing. Nick cannot prove that Scarman set Phil up, but there is enough evidence to let Phil off the hook and arrest Scarman. The woman confirms that Phil was with her on the night of the burglary.

Heartbeat - Season 1 - Episode 6
There are a number of burglaries in the area recently which all have a connection, the thief tidies the house before leaving with the loot, which is usually silver. Nick checks around the local auction houses to see if anything has been passed on. He also begins to suspect local do-gooder, Penelope Stirling of being involved in the burglaries when he sees her buying incomplete sets of antiques. Meanwhile the police warn the local residents, including Lord Ashfordly to be on the look out for the thief and advise them to hide valuables which can be seen from the windows. The police catch the thief however when he burgles Ashfordly Hall where he straightens a picture which is wired to an alarm at the police station. Stirling turns out to be stealing antiques which are part of sets. She then buys the rest of the collection when the old people who the sets belong to die for a fraction of there true value. Heartbeat - Season 6 - Episode 4
The father of a young boy had dreams of his son playing cricket professionally, but unfortunately he doesn't make the local team, Maggie realises it is because he can't see the ball so he needs glasses. The same boy is caught stealing and the next day he arrives at school with bruises. Jo suspects the worse but it turns out he got the bruises playing cricket. The boy feels he's let his dad down and runs away but ends up having an accident. Claude has ""borrowed"" one of Lord Ashfordly's prize horses to breed from, but as they're taking it back Claude spots the little boy lying on the road and takes him to hospital. Nick who has been looking for the missing horse suddenly twigs what's happened when he sees Claude in a horse box. - He says he'll forget it ever went missing if the horse is returned within two hours!

Heartbeat - Season 5 - Episode 2
Joe Norton is causing trouble by smashing up pots in Nick and Kate's garden. A gypsy named Flo camps just up from Greengrass' house but he doesn't take kindly to her trying to sell him some lucky heather so she puts a 'hex' on him - Claude starts to believe that its working when everything starts to go wrong for him, so he asks to be 'unhexed'! Kate gets the result of her blood test that she sent off under another name, and it's bad news, but she keeps it to herself. Joe sets fire to the gypsy's caravan, Nick catches up with him but Joe attempts to assault him during the arrest. Clothes go missing off washing lines in the area. Kate goes into labour, and once she arrives at the hospital baby Sarah is soon born, Nick is over the moon, but his hopes are suddenly dashed when Kate tells him she has leukaemia.
#15 - Thief in the Night
Heartbeat - Season 5 - Episode 3
Kate comes out of hospital with baby Sarah. The atmosphere is extremely sullen and Nick neglects his work, which doesn't go down well with Blaketon. Nick receives reports of prowlers hanging around at night, but he doesn't do anything about it. The next day Mr Copeland complains to Blaketon about Nick's inefficiency and about a tank of petrol he has had stolen. Blaketon is on the warpath and unaware of Kate's condition, goes round to the police house and tears a strip off Nick. Kate realises she can't keep it a secret any longer so Nick finally tells Phil the bad news. Blaketon feels awful for what he said and goes back to apologise. Kate is finding it difficult to cope and asks Nick to take her for a picnic in the hills. But this has disastrous repercussions when she goes down with pneumonia, which immediately worsens her condition. Emotions are running high, and by the time Kate dies everything comes to a head. #16 - Outsiders
Heartbeat - Season 1 - Episode 8
A caravan of circus-folk, the Laszlos arrives in Aidensfield and camps on the village green. The locals are angry about it and demand that these unwelcome visitors leave. The vicar's daughter, Anna meanwhile falls for one of campers, the young and handsome Milos Laszlo. This angers her wealthy fiancée, Jamie Hunter. Nick then receives allegations of theft against the Lazslos and Nick goes to the caravan to investigate. Nick hears that there is a sick man in the caravan and later discovers the man has cancer and has 'returned' home to his birthplace to die. The church's safe is then broken into and Milos then becomes the prime suspect after his scarf is found at the scene. Greengrass, an old friend of the Lazslos then informs Nick that he saw Jamie Hunter pick the scarf up and Nick realizes Hunter must have been responsible for the break in. The Lazslos then leave, with Anna after realizing they are not welcome anymore.

Heartbeat - Season 2 - Episode 5
A black soldier called Ken Marston who is on exercises in the area has been getting bullied by his racist Sergeant - Sgt Nicholls. Nicholls follows Marston during the exercise and intends to shoot Ken as he's reported Nicholls to his superiors. However on top of a cliff face Nicholls and Kenget in a confrontation and Nicholls falls. Ken then goes on the run thinking he's killed him. Meanwhile Nick investigates a break in at a farm and suspects Claude is responsible. and is on the run after he thinks he has killed him. He starts to search for a childhood friend who lives in the area. He finds his friends wife and son, only to discover his friend is dead. Meanwhile Kate is treating his window whose son is seriously disturbed by his fathers death, may have to be taken into care. The widow blames Kate for this, believing that she contacted the authorities, when in fact it was Ferrenby. There are a series of vandal attacks on a battery hen farm, which turns out to have involved a potential girlfriend of Phil's! Nick and Kate are decorating the nursery and Blaketon is impressed when he sees it - he even gives them a teddy bear for the baby, which he suggests they call ‘Oscar'!! Claude tries a scheme to sell ‘free range' eggs - the only trouble is he's had a bit of help from the battery hens!!

Gail is still extremely depressed about the 'Hillman' card situation and is clearly not coping, Sarah and David are concerned. Jamie and Violet discuss Danny's offer to Frankie of £50k. Danny approaches Frankie to see if she has made a decision about the money or not - she keeps him waiting for her answer. Ken is angry with Keith as he didn't deliver his paper. Jamie doesn't want Frankie to accept Danny's offer as he thinks she deserves more. Steve winds Lloyd up about having Becky and Kelly living with him. Danny offers Leanne the job of his PA, she quickly accepts. The factory girls are unimpressed. Gail gets upset when she walks into the Kabin and Norris is making fun of the situation to Kelly, Violet, Sean and Fiz. Danny continues to belittle Adam at every opportunity. Danny discusses with Frankie about wanting an amicable divorce however she decides she wants half of everything. Frankie turns Danny and his offer of half of everything down. Ken is trying to persuade Adam to have an eighteenth party but he is not keen on the idea. Kelly is getting annoyed that Becky is always in the way and has invited herself everywhere with them. Frankie is angry at Danny's offer and confides in Nathan about it. Audrey is jealous of Archie and Rita's relationship and is feeling fed up with Keith. David is very worried about Gail. She is now drinking in the day time alone! Keith thinks it's down to Archie and tries to confront him about it. Frankie tells Leanne that Danny offered everything back to her but that she said no and would be a fool to take it. Jamie and Adam are buying booze for his party. Leanne starts at the factory. Sally is wary of her intentions. Tracy tries to get Blanche to baby-sit however she is going to the party too. Vera is rushed off her feet at the Café as Frankie has the day off for the party. Blanche tries to get the gossip out of Keith about him and Audrey. Craig and Sophie get invited to Adam's party. Lloyd ways up the pro's and con's of living with two women. Danny goes to see his solicitor about the divorce and Frankie wanting half. He lies about Nathan living with Frankie. Kelly is complaining to Lloyd about never having a minute alone together. Rosie and Sally are distraught to find out that they are both at Adam's party. Adam swings a punch at Danny and they end up fighting on the street. Kirk and Sean break it up. Gail goes to the Rovers with Audrey but is clearly very uncomfortable. Audrey tries to tell Keith why she broke up with him but he is still very hurt. Adam has a heart to heart with Sean telling him how Mike must have loved him less because he left everything to Danny.

Sean is telling the factory girls about Adam's fight. Ken overhears and rushes off worried. Kelly is getting thoroughly fed up with Becky being in her space all the time. Adam brought a girl home last night but Blanche and Ken are less than thrilled to see her at breakfast. Frankie receives a phone call when she is working telling her Danny has told his Solicitor that Nathan and she are living together - she runs out to have it out with him. Frankie makes it clear to Danny that she is disgusted by his behaviour. Norris, Blanche and Emily gossip in the Kabin about Rita and Archie. Rita overhears. Kelly is getting concerned about Becky's overly nice behaviour. Vera is not well and Jack is left to fend for himself. He cooks Vera a meal she is made up. Ken likens Adam and Danny to himself and Mike all those years ago. Danny continues to wind up Frankie about Nathan however she plays him at his own game and asks Nathan to move in - he accepts.

Frankie tells Jamie that Nathan is moving in and he is more than happy. Norris makes it clear to Archie he doesn't approve of him taking Rita out. Becky is becoming overly friendly with Lloyd. Its beginning to make him uncomfortable. Rita and Audrey are jealous of each others friendship with Archie. Vera ropes Jack into helping her in the Café, and everyone notices a funny smell. Danny is devastated to see Nathan moving in with Frankie. When Nathan moves in Frankie is not sure if they have made the right choice. It’s the day after the night before and Steve’s a mess as he tries to come to terms with the fact that his girlfriend was prepared to let him take the fall for a crime he didn’t commit. It’s the ultimate betrayal but Steve’s mood is compounded by the knowledge that his night of passion with Kelly is also now out in the open. Steve can’t face the office but Liz convinces him he can’t avoid Lloyd forever - how will Lloyd react when the men come face to face?Meanwhile Lloyd wants nothing to do with Kelly, despite her protestations that they were on a break when the fling happened. Sean is pleased when his dad turns up in the Rovers and tells him how much he missed him when he first left. He gives Sean his watch but bottles it when he comes to tell Sean something important and the pair end up hugging instead. Sean’s thrilled at what he sees as a big step but Jamie can’t force himself to be so enthusiastic knowing that Brian lied to Sean earlier. Meanwhile Sean has witnessed Danny watching his father and son liaisons so decides to help his boss and his friend patch up their relationship. But Jamie doesn’t want to make up with his dad and as the conversation becomes heated it looks like he may be about to burst Sean’s bubble too? Lloyd’s still not in a forgiving mood. First Kelly tries to explain herself but he refuses to accept her apologies. Later Steve attempts a different tack and tries to talk to him about his life. He tells Lloyd he wants them to be mates and partners again. How will Lloyd react? Meanwhile Leanne tries her best to join in with the factory girls. Will they welcome her into their pack? And Amber makes a cautious step towards friendship with Rosie.

An excited Sean tells Jamie and Violet of his plans to book a restaurant for a meal with his dad on Fathers’ day, but Jamie is not convinced about Brian and admits to him that he saw Brian peering out of the bedroom window when they visited the other day. He warns his friend to be careful because he doesn’t want to see him get hurt, but Sean is angry at Jamie’s apparent concern and accuses him of being jealous of his relationship, seeing as Jamie doesn’t have one with his own father. Meanwhile, in Underworld, Danny is getting increasingly irritated by Sean’s constant posing with the flashy watch his father has bought him, so threatens to sack him if he continues to slack off in the workplace. He eventually orders Sean into the office for a ticking off, but thanks to Leanne’s intervention, he lets him keep his job. But later on Leanne tries to persuade Sean to make Jamie reconcile with his father. Will Sean agree to help? In the corner shop, Dev tells Amber off for pinching fizzy pop from the store but is completely unaware that she has also been stealing vodka as well! After school she meets Craig and Rosie outside the chippy, and produces her home made Alcopops. The trio tuck into the booze, but Dev spots his cheeky daughter and heads over for a chat. Does he catch the wayward teens’ red handed?

Coronation Street - Season 47 - Episode 119
Leanne decides to take matters into her own hands regarding Danny and Jamie and seeks out Jamie to try and reconcile the pair. She tells him that Danny still loves him and reaches out to him but Danny wanders past and witnesses this. He misreads the scene and thinks that Leanne could be trying it on with his estranged son. But having had no luck with Jamie Leanne eventually persuades Violet to help. Violet asks Jamie to meet her at the pizzeria but Leanne goes instead and begs Jamie to see sense and reconcile with Danny. But Danny, suspicious after what he saw earlier, has followed Leanne to the restaurant and accuses them of having an affair. Any chance of the Baldwin boys making up is ruined immediately, as Jamie ridicules his father at such a ludicrous suggestion and marches out. Danny is left devastated as he realises any hope of making up with his son is ruined for good. Also, Jamie and Sean are still at loggerheads over Jamie’s concerns about Brian. Sean ignores his pal in the street and it’s clear that it will take a lot for these friends to be reunited. And over in the cab office, business is still quiet, and a sullen Steve gets a summons to a formal hearing of the local mini cab licensing committee, in order to review his suitability of operating a cab firm. Could this spell the end for Streetcars?

Coronation Street - Season 47 - Episode 120
Sean can hardly believe that he is finally spending Fathers’ Day with his dad after 20 years! He meets him in the Rovers and can’t help but show him off – much to Brian’s dismay. They head off for the pizza restaurant and Brian can hardly get a word in edgeways as an excited Sean tries to make up for all the Fathers’ Day meals he has missed out on. But the wind is taken out of Sean’s sails when Brian drops a bombshell that sends him reeling and wishing that he had never dug up the past. Amber is also looking forward to spending Fathers’ Day with her dad but she is also disappointed when it becomes clear that Dev is only interested in the twins. Even a card from Amber can’t lighten his mood and she can’t help but feel second best. More problems of the paternal kind for Danny and Jamie, after Leanne’s failed attempts to get them to reconcile. Danny tries to make amends but Jamie makes it clear that he can never forgive his father – whatever day it is! Amber decides to try and make Dev feel better and sends him a card from the twins. Her plan works initially and Dev’s mood brightens considerably until he calls Sunita and discovers she didn’t send the card. As usual Amber bears the brunt of his bad temper and it does her bid to stay with Dev over the summer no good at all. Meanwhile the other teenagers on the Street are giving their parents the run around. David has skived off school and thinks he has kept his truancy a secret from his mum by deleting the headmaster’s phone message but his plan backfires when the headmaster turns up at the house to speak to Gail. Sophie confides in Craig that she knows where Rosie keeps all her secret stuff, so Rosie is concerned later when she discovers that her stash of booze from Amber has gone missing. Sally is stunned when she finds a drunken Sophie throwing up in the back yard and smells alcohol on her breath. When a drugs rep talks to a doctor about a drug that some of his patients are taking, is now under review, he requests they all be called in for a consultation and then goes off to start his Locum duty at Casualty. An elderly patient, who took the pledge years ago is furious when Dr David Rowe tells her the gripe water she takes for indigestion, contains alcohol. A retired consultant arrives with her GP husband,knowing what's wrong and she's admitted for a cancer operation. Charlie changes Valerie's bandages and then asks her out but before she can give him her answer, there is an emergency which he has to attend to.
