Solomon won't let her go, and they begin a battle. As they fight, Saya gets dizzy and falls from the building. To save her, Hagi unleashes his true form for the first time in the series. When they land, Saya gently rejects his feelings, and tells him killing Diva is her job. She and Hagi fly off, returning to the apartment. Meanwhile, Julia goes with David to the hospital. As he is rushed to the emergency room, he asks her to come back to them. Julia keeps vigil over him as he lies unconscious in the hospital, and kisses him. Back at the apartment, Mao kisses Kai and confesses her love, but also accepts that his only thoughts are for Saya.

Saya, Hagi, and the Red Shield goes to the Metropolitan Opera House to try to stop Diva's performance. Before the show starts, Nathan tells Amshel that the world exists to showcase Diva's beauty, as was predestined before she was born. When Amshel says Nathan talks like he was there, Nathan says he was and that before Diva was born, there was their "mommy" and her faithful chevalier. Kai confronts Hagi and demands to know what else they are hiding besides the coming hibernation time and begs him to take care of her. While they talk, Saya slips the key Kai gave her into his coat pocket and whispers goodbye. Saya and Hagi go to try to kill Diva before she can take the stage, but before she can charge Diva, Saya grows woozy again and can't attack. Hagi attacks Diva, but she easily dodges him. Hagi and Saya fight against Amshel. After he knocks Hagi out, Amshel tells Saya that if she had never set Diva free, Diva could have been his and his alone. He admits he has a constant obsession with Diva, which he views as the ultimate form of love for her. Diva begins singing, and people in the audience begin changing into chiroptera. Lewis is able to blow up the relay stations, but it doesn't work because they relay the signal through the military satellite feeds. Kai, David, Lewis, and Lulu go to the relay vans and destroy all of the equipment to finally bring down the world-wide broadcast. They get surrounded by chiroptera and David is injured. Hagi attacks Amshel so Saya can go after Diva as Nathan watches from the audience with the babies beside him.

Although the culprits managed remove evidence of them, the group manage to find a video involving the members from Freenum. They try going to the club to confront them but learn they have already left. As Nice leaves Murasaki, Murasaki has an internal conflict as he admits detesting his own weakness for being always with Nice. He is then approached by Art and Murasaki claims he wants to join him. In Art's hideout, Art realizes Murasaki is just using him to aid Nice and allows Murasaki to beat him up while Freenum records and leak the scene. When Murasaki shoots Art, Freenum's Ishigami Shunichi activates Art's Regeneration Minimum revealing him to the public as a messiah-like figure. Hours later, Nice and Hajime find a bag with Murasaki inside.

When he does get in tune, Tsukishima is predicting his moves and is managing to block all their points. It looks like it will be an easy win in set 1 for the captain's team, but then Kageyama and Hinata start to succeed with their quick attack, which could completely change the outcome of the match.

In a flashback, a young Nice talks with Art and Art's younger brother, Skill, about their wish to see Yokohama from a specific building. Back in the present, Nice and Murasaki contact Master to ask how he knew where Hajime had been held before. Master reveals he is a former member of the Minimum Agency (along with Moral and Doktor) who saw Hajime as too dangerous to be alive due to her powers. Master promised to take care of her and left the group with another test subject, Koneko. Meanwhile, Freemum starts a coup d'état to overtake Yokohama. Ishigami and his allies confront the Minimum Agency led by Doktor. Although Ishigami's allies take the upperhand, Honey and Three intervene to stop the fight. Just as Freemum remains victorious, Art starts killing most of them until he finishes Ishigami, as he was just using them to gather more Minimum Holders. Momoka then releases Hajime who goes to see Nice. Nice and Murasaki try to confront Art, but Nice's Minimum deteriorates his body again. Art then stabs Nice in order to shock Hajime and trigger her Nihilist Minimum. This time Hajime's Minimum covers a wide area in Yokohama and Art starts crying in relief as he finally reached his objective.

Haikyu!! - Season 1 - Episode 10
The practice match between Karasuno and the Neighborhood Association continues with Karasuno down 1-0. Ukai manages to see firsthand how Hinata can be the ultimate decoy and learns how quickly Kageyama and Hinata have grown together as a duo. He also witnesses firsthand how Hinata's speed is difficult to keep up with. However an off-speed serve allows the Neighborhood Association to get four straight aces and take a 24-18 lead. On the final point Ryuunosuke finally gets the chance to spike, but Yu manages to save the spike, and Azumane ends the game with a killer spike. Now Ukai must decide whom the regular starters will be. One thing is for certain, the duo of Kageyama and Hinata seem to have their fates tied together. Will they be in the starting lineup, or will they come off the bench. Ukai also decides practice for the first and second years will focus mainly on receiving serves to address the teams biggest weakness.

Karasuno's boys team wins set one 25-12, but the Captain's old friend delivers one phrase that makes Karasuno stay serious for set 2. Kageyama gets five quick service aces, and Karasuno's boys team wins set two 25-14. The girls team isn't so lucky as they fall in two sets and wonder what they could've done to be able to keep playing. After some promises are made to those who have lost, Karasuno's freshmen learn how just three months before Karasuno was shutdown by Dateko, their second round opponent. Ukai goes with the same lineup from game 1 and Yu deleivers a speech that boosts the morale of the upperclassmen. It's now time for match 2. Can Karasuno find a way to defeat the Iron Wall of Dateko?
