During a typical morning rush hour in downtown Miami, an unseen sniper chooses three victims at random and opens fire, killing each with a single shot to the head. Horatio and his crew rush to the scene, which is quickly mobbed by TV news reporters eager to spin the murders into a national story. The initial investigation doesn't reveal much, as there were no witnesses and little evidence remains. But the case heats up when the sniper strikes again, killing two more innocent people.

Brenda and Donna attend an animal rights rally and are crestfallen when the university refuses to suspend animal testing. After Rocky dies of cancer, Brenda becomes involved with a small group of radicals. She serves as lookout when the group breaks into the university research building, and tries in vain to save Andrea's lab (which does not harm animals in its testing). Brenda is arrested. Kelly and Brandon are furious when Dylan refuses to fund Lucinda's film. He finally tells Kelly that Lucinda came on to him. Brandon breaks up with Lucinda, and Kelly confesses her kiss with Brandon. Dylan races over to the Walsh house to fight Brandon, but the tension is defused when he accidentally punches Steve. (At the end of this episode, Tori Spelling thanks the audience and 90210 crew for the making of this 100th episode) . Music: 'Trans-Island Skyway' by Donald Fagen.

The Wire Season 2 - Episode 8
"How come they don't fly away?" -- Ziggy Sobotka and Nick visit the diner to meet with The Greek. Vondas tries to persuade them to meet with him, but Sobotka is angry and adamant, and only when he begins to leave does The Greek appear. Sobotka explains the reasons for his paranoia and advises that The Greek shut down the warehouse. Instead, The Greek tells him to deliver more disappeared but clean containers there, "to show them there is nothing to hide." When Sobotka demands that he be paid the regular rate for disappearing the clean cans, The Greek is at first reluctant, but then agrees to pay after Nick is insistent.

Gary takes the cat to the vet thinking he's not feeling good. He is obligated to leave him there overnight, but rushes to the clinic in the morning for the paper, only to find out it's not there (nor is the cat). The cat mysteriously appears at Eunice's (the vet's mother) house with the paper, and Gary wonders if the cat decided to abandon him. He later finds out that the cat only wants him to save Eunice, who was madly in love with Lucius Snow 40 years ago and is now dying from cancer.

When Vince misses an appointment for his physical because he is spending time with Mandy, Eric and Ari start to worry Vince's love life is interfering with business, and Mandy's talent managers have similar concerns. Turtle and Drama do some detective work after they recover Eric's stolen Maserati, which leads them to a musical discovery that turns Turtle into an agent. Turtle strikes a deal with Billy Walsh for the Queens Boulevard score and is convinced his new client is headed for superstardom.

Brandon learns from Jordan that Andrea may not go to Yale. Brandon fears that Andrea is giving up her future for him, but she is actually worried about paying her tuition. David and Donna emcee the senior breakfast where everyone continues to reminisce. Brenda, Kelly and Donna take part in a musical number about Brandon and his numerous girlfriends. Mrs. Scanlon organizes a surprise party for Scott's birthday and pushes David to round up the guests. Donna is the only person who wants to attend. Kelly, Steve, Brenda, Brandon and Emily reluctantly come to the party, but act like jerks and refuse to participate in the activities. David tries to save the party by getting everyone to dance, but Brandon and Emily sneak upstairs to make out in the bedroom of Scott's little brother. Mrs. Scanlon throws them out, and the others act really indignant and walk out on the party. Scott goes to his father's den to get matches for the cake and finds a gun in a locked desk drawer. He tries to twirl it for David, but accidentally shoots himself in the stomach and dies. David's friends and teachers annoy him by constantly asking about his well-being, while Mrs. Scanlon keeps trying to give him Scott's belongings. Donna takes offense when David continually snaps at her. When Brandon tries to interview him about Scott, David erupts (with the microphone in the radio booth on). He expresses his anger at those who pretend to care about Scott after his death and his guilt over breaking off their friendship. The gang dedicates the time capsule to Scott, and David donates Scott's cowboy hat to ensure that he won't be forgotten. Later on in the episode he feels even further away from being close to Buffy, and he goes and gets himself bitten by a vamp whore. Meanwhile, at the magic shop Giles accidentally sells two very bad, powerful ingredients for a spell to a "young woman," who turns out to be the all powerful lady who creamed Buffy the last time they fought. Dylan's friend Sarah comes to an AA meeting. He offers his support, and she begins to rely on him. She seeks his help in throwing her abusive boyfriend out of the apartment. She kisses Dylan, but he points out that romances between addicts can be dangerous. Dylan's decision to help Sarah puts a strain on his relationship with Brenda. She flirts with Tim, a college guy from her aerobics class. They kiss in the Walsh driveway after he gives her a ride home. Dylan finds Sarah drinking with her boyfriend. She refuses his help and claims that he is to blame for her relapse because he rejected her. Dylan and Brenda reaffirm their relationship. Nat installs a karaoke machine in the hopes of increasing business. The machine is a big hit with Jim and the kids, but the novelty quickly wears off. Music: 'We Want the Funk' by Gerardo.

Brandon interviews Roger Azarian for a senior profile in the Blaze. Roger is an outstanding student and athlete, but is overwhelmed by the legacy of his father; a self-made millionaire. Roger asks Brandon to read a screenplay that he has written. Brandon is disturbed by the autobiographical aspects of the script, especially since it ends with the lead character murdering his father. Brandon finds a gun in Roger's car and fears that he is going to kill his father. He tracks down the missing Roger in his pool house, where he is actually contemplating suicide. After receiving terrible SAT scores Donna decides to become a bad girl, skipping classes and taking up smoking. After the guidance office intervenes she is tested for and diagnosed with a learning disability that inhibits her test-taking skills. She is given another chance on the test and presumably scores much higher the second time. Ironically, Brenda and Brandon receive identical scores on the SAT (1190). Dylan warns Brandon that Sandy is not the right woman for him. Jerry wishes to hire Brandon as his gopher and loan him money for a new car. Brandon does not understand why Jim disapproves. Jerry asks Brandon to drive his wife home; Mrs. Rattinger reveals that her husband wanted her out of the way so that he could spend time with his mistress, Sandy. Brandon severs all ties with Jerry, who tries to have him fired from the club. Sandy decides to leave town in the hopes of getting her life in order. As an acting class assignment, Brenda tries to recreate the experience of being lost in a mall as a child. He squares off with Jim, who promises to stand up for Nat's interests. Brandon takes Marcie to the Peach Pit in the hopes of gaining her support, but realizes that she only cares about her father and his business. The gang (except Brenda) tries to stage a rally, but Nat has already agreed to sell. Brandon becomes jaded, and refuses to listen when Jim explains the financial realities associated with adulthood. Jim encourages Dylan to get in touch with his mother, but Dylan is too proud to ask her for financial help. Brandon, David, Steve and some friends hold an after-hours poker game at the beach club. Dylan joins them, and is furious when he loses a lot of money. The club suffers a break-in, and Brandon's boss is questioned because of a past (unjust) robbery conviction. In spite of Steve's objections, Brandon comes to Henry's defense by telling the police about the poker game. Dylan becomes the prime suspect after electronic equipment is found in his car. Brenda and her parents stand behind him, but Brandon becomes suspicious after finding pawn shop tickets. He wonders how cash-poor Dylan was able to afford a plane ticket to Hawaii. Dylan reveals that he has been forced to pawn his belongings from the family storage locker. He had finally called his mother, who paid for his ticket. The laundry service turns out to be the culprit. Dylan flies to Hawaii to visit his mother. Brenda suffers a severe sunburn when she falls asleep while trying to get a tan. Andrea launches a crusade to create awareness about AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. She loses her enthusiasm after Brandon suggests that she shouldn't preach about safe sex because she is a virgin. The school board defeats the motion; the woman casting the tie-breaking vote goes against her conscience out of loyalty to Felice Martin. Kelly eases Andrea's embarrassment about being a virgin by pointing out that having a "reputation" can also bring its share of pain. Andrea decides to go out with John, a newspaper colleague whom she had ignored because of Brandon. Dylan forbids Brenda from writing an article about her pregnancy scare because he considers it an invasion of his privacy. Carla returns to her family after one of the killers confesses. Jim and Cindy organize a soiree for his new client, a sportswear designer. Dylan, Steve and the girls receive free clothing. David wants MC Hammer to perform at the school dance. Billy gets a job as a cab driver. He makes a connection with a passenger, and they quickly begin dating. Alison is put off by the speed of the couple's courtship, and grows tired of Marcy's constant presence in the apartment. Billy, Michael and Jane all accuse her of jealousy, but she denies it. Billy soon has second thoughts about his relationship when Marcy tells his friends intimate details about their sex life, and quickly declares her love for him. Billy tries to avoid her, but Jake advises him to confront Marcy to break things off in person. Jake is arrested following a scuffle at the unemployment office, and is less than grateful when Kelly bails him out. Jane worries about the status of her marriage when Michael is unable to recall the specific moment he fell in love with her.

After a chance meeting in the street, Alison becomes romantically involved with environmentalist Keith Gray. She is stunned to learn that he is married, but finds it difficult to break off the relationship after he vows to leave his wife for her. Billy is saddled with bad credit because he has yet to pay off a college loan that he didn't even need. Jane is determined to work off the weight from her pregnancy. She realizes that she is trying too hard to forget the miscarriage.

Melrose Place Season 1 - Episode 9
Billy helps a woman whose car has broken down along the side of her road. He gives her a ride to a gas station. When she doesn't have the money to pay him, she gives him some passes to a club where she is performing stand-up comedy for an Open Mic night. They get along very well, but Billy soon learns that she has an eight-year-old son. The boy initially rejects Billy, but they soon begin to bond. Billy loses Alison's trust by lying to her so that she will loan him the money Dawn needs for car repairs to make it to her first professional stand-up gig. The relationship falls apart when Billy gets into a confrontation with Dawn's useless ex-husband. Jake and Sandy try to rebuild their relationship, agreeing to go on a ""platonic"" date. Things quickly get out of hand, leaving Sandy enraged and the two not on speaking terms.
