The cold cases haunt Miller because it's the fifth anniversary of the shootings and she was the one who found the dying boy. She believes the cases are connected, but Lilly doubts that they are related.

The young officer was shot three times in the chest while responding to a call at a drug-infested housing project. Also on the tape are the victim's final words: "Runner! Runner! Runner!"
