Alarm for Cobra 11 - Season 7 - Episode 9
In her gambling addiction, LKA officer Laura Wagner has developed a dangerous device that disables vehicles using electromagnetic impulses (EPW). When she is chasing the mafia courier Enrico Serpente on the highway with a suitcase full of money, she uses the device and causes a serious accident in which she steals the suitcase. Tom and Semir initially investigate the case, but assume it was a random accident. But they discover that this is already the third incident in which vehicle electronics have been destroyed and that Serpente works for the mafia boss Alesso Corto. Tom and Semir are getting closer and closer to the truth and learn from the FBI that it is a deliberately deployed electromagnetic device.

On the way to her wedding, Bernd Raake's bride is killed in an accident on the motorway. Witnesses accuse Gerd Hagemann of having provoked the crash. The groom runs amok and wants to avenge his bride's death on Hagemann, not knowing that he is pursuing the wrong man. At this very moment, Semir is lying in bed, unable to move, with lumbago and thus unable to come to work. Tom's investigations reveal that fake and defective spare parts from Henrik Wenner's car workshop are to blame for the accident. Wenner has valuable car spare parts counterfeited in Poland and Asia and sells them across Europe. He uses his workshop as his headquarters for his illegal activities. Tom is feverishly searching for Wenner, because the groom has also found out that Wenner is to blame for his wife's death and now wants to avenge her death on the real culprit.

Semir is in a bad mood because of a broken company car and Tom, who is absent without an excuse. But the investigation takes a dramatic turn when they discover that Karena Hardt's death was not an accident, but murder. Tom and Semir follow the trail to a suspicious farm, where they find further clues. However, the murderer is preparing for the next attack, and a ten-year-old boy joins him as the police close in on him.
