In this last episode Professor Hood (Patrick Stewart) sets out to discredit a doctor's claims that one of her patients has been cured of cancer by drinking ordinary spring water, convinced she's perpetrating a cynical hoax. To his surprise, she seems every bit as baffled and sceptical as him, and readily offers to help investigate the case. Unfortunately, just as an explanation seems within reach, she is found dead, having apparently committed suicide.

Rosemary & Thyme - Season 2 - Episode 1
Rosemary and Laura are called to Lyvedon manor to restore the now derelict wall gardens by the request of the garden's owner Martin Frazer. As a source of cheap labor to assisst Rosemary and Laura work on the gardens, Martin enlists the help of a group of inmates from the local prison. Initially Rosemary is suspicious of working with prisoners but soon gets used to it, but a greater shock awaits her when she witnesses Martin's odd cousin Jim jumping into the local fast flowing river, killing himself. Soon after at the local market, Rosemary is shocked to see Jim walking around, despite his body being found and identified by Martin himself.

When a police chase leads to a field where almost 30 fetuses are buried, Hood suspects that ""Gepetto"" - a rogue clone maker - is at work in the country. They soon discover that not only must they try to find and stop Gepetto, but they must also locate a young pregnant girl who is carrying one of the cloned fetuses, and whose life is in danger from a complication with the pregnancy. They are not the only ones searching for the girl, though. One of Gepetto's men, a millionaire, and the girl's abusive ex-boyfriend all have their own reasons for wanting to find her.

This second sequence - if the Doctor can't find a way to shut it down - will release a second massive load, the explosion of which will entirely negate the effects of the first.
