Linebarrels of Iron - Season 1 - Episode 5
Kouichi loses consciousness due to Linebarrel going out of control, and is taken into custody by JUDA. Ishigami tells Kouichi about the Machinas, and the Katou Organization as their enemy. Kouichi is persuaded by Ishigami to fight together as a hero of justice, but cannot make up his mind. Meanwhile, Shizuna and Izuna Endo, twin members of JUDA’s Special Task Force, were being attacked by the Armas of the Katou Organization and now have their backs against the wall.

Linebarrels of Iron - Season 1 - Episode 22
Kouichi sees a powerful Moritsugu before him, after seeing a wounded Yamashita near him. Moritsugu prepares himself to show the members of JUDA their inexperience and lack of power. Unable to gain enough power and strength against Moritsugu, Kouichi is left almost helpless. Linebarrel struggles for power as Vardant ensues in a violent battle. Later on, Kato reveals that Kizaki is his sister, as well as how he developed the Kato Organization. Kato then proposes the JUDA Corporation to join forces with the Kato Organization to assist in the prevention of an enemy invasion arriving from an alternate dimension.

Linebarrels of Iron - Season 1 - Episode 19
Glain-Neidr, piloted by Masaki, appears in Misaki Town and starts to install the last Sphere. Miu, Yamashita, and the Jinrai brigade, led by Domyouji, return fire, but are no match. Meanwhile, Kouichi rescues Kizaki and heads back to the JUDA headquarters, to which he is stopped by Yajima. Yajima insists that Kouichi stop fighting and return to Risako. The two are unable to reconcile. On the beach in the pouring rain, Yajima and Kouichi exchange blows using Linebarrel and Apparition.

Linebarrels of Iron - Season 1 - Episode 16
With a renewed sense of justice, the JUDA task force members begin their battle against the enemy. The first step is to regain JUDA which has been taken over by Kiriyama and his horde. While Kouichi diverts Kiriyama with Linebarrel, the others sneak into the facility via an emergency route. As they make their way in, they find that the facility is protected by JUDA’s state-of-the-art security system, filled with unusual stages to prove their identities as the JUDA task force members.

Kouichi has caused massive damage to the town during his battle on Linebarrel fighting the secret Katou Organization. Linebarrels of Iron - Season 1 - Episode 8
Kouichi, Moritsugu, and Miu are given a mission to assist the retreat of a U.S. Force transportation aircraft and to exterminate the enemy there. It is the first official assignment for Kouichi. Kouichi and Moritsugu team up and take on Masaki Sugawara and Yurianne Faithful of the Katou Organization, who are leading a vast troop of Armas. Meanwhile, Miu, who is backing up the retreat of general troops on Painkiller, is attacked by a new enemy Machina.

Kouichi and Kizaki find a safe area and take a brief but much needed refuge. Kizaki, who is starting to regain her memory, confesses to Kouichi that she is afraid of recalling memories she had long ago lost. Seeing Kizaki desperately fighting her angst, Kouichi makes a certain resolution. However, their peace is short-lived as they are suddenly attacked by Idaten and Kagutsuchi, piloted by Takurō Sawatari and Dimitri Magarov.

Linebarrels of Iron - Season 1 - Episode 23
The JUDA Corporation and the Kato Organization prepare to defeat the earth against the upcoming enemy invasion led by Masaki. Kouichi and his Linebarrel take it upon themselves to drive the invaders into the space-time continuum and back into their respective dimension. Kato sacrifices himself in battle, protect the rest of the group. As Kouichi and his Linebarrel blast off into space, Kizaki initiates a surprise attack against the infiltrators. However, this attack eventually would cost her life.

Linebarrels of Iron - Season 1 - Episode 21
The JUDA Corporation is now responsible in holding back the launch of the Spheres installed. However, Yamashita has a different mobilization unit out, after receiving a letter designating him to fulfill a special duty surrounding a secret reunion around the base of Mount Fuji near the Aokigahara Sea of Trees. It is there and then that Yamashita must face off against Moritsugu. Meanwhile, the rest of the JUDA members are shocked to that Kiriyama is still alive, as he demonstrates his newfound power in an attempt to obliterate them.

The members of the JUDA task force have come to a tropical island as a company outing. Thanks to the good-natured whim of Kunio Ishigami, Risako and Domyouji have also been invited to join them. Kouichi finds himself in an uncomfortable position as Domyouji asks him which is his true love interest, whether it is Risako or Kizaki. Their brief vacation is interrupted as the members go missing one by one by a mysterious, reptilian creature.

The tropical vacation is still the hot topic discussed between Domyouji and the task force members. Only Kizaki does not seem to share their post-vacation hype. The vacation has also left an awkward rift between Kouichi and Kizaki. Kouichi and Yamashita are summoned to a meeting and head to Ishigami’s room. At that instant, they hear a gunshot from Ishigami’s room. Finding out that Moritsugu shot Ishigami, Kouichi is eager to battle him for what he has done. After Kouichi fails to take Moritsugu, Kizaki fights in his place.

Having lost Linebarrel, Kouichi gives in to despair and violently takes his anger out on innocent civilians. Since he is a factor, no one can match his physical power unarmed. On behalf of Risako Niiyama who is worried about Kouichi, Yajima decides to confront Kouichi. In the pouring rain, Yajima and Kouichi engage in a fistfight, when a Hagure Machina appears before them.

In order to investigate the mysterious “Spheres” deposited in various locations around the world by the Katou Organization, members of the JUDA task force, including Kouichi, head to an ARMA production base located in South America. Distracted by guilt for not being able to recognize Moritsugu’s physical disorder, Satoru Yamashita makes a blunder during the operation and ends up putting Moritsugu in danger. Yamashita becomes panic-stricken, loses control, and starts taking matters into his own hands.

Since the last battle, Miu's slump hasn't gone away and with Painkiller unable to advance, has further prolonged her state. Miu' reckless drive to train has left her body and spirit broken. Miu finally cheers up when Kouichi comes to visit. Meanwhile, the Katou Organization has set up Spheres throughout the world on a large-scale trajectory to open up a multidimensional invasion. Shizuna and Izuna are dismayed to see the United Natons siding with the Katou Organization. Kouichi and Miu set out to help fight against Sobi Nakajima and Yurianne.

Linebarrels of Iron - Season 1 - Episode 24
Due to Kizaki's death, Kouichi goes berserk and showcases the true and ultimate form of Linebarrel. After a failed attempt to send the invaders back to their dimension, Kizaki appears to Kouichi in spirit form, telling him never to give up. With that mindset of motivation, he is about to destroy one of the enemy warships. However, this results in an instability of the space-time continuum between dimensions. Kouichi makes the choice to go inside the rift, and the rest of the JUDA members send their D-S.O.I.L. energies of their Machinas toward Kouichi, in order to save the world. Kouichi is able to return back from the rift, and Kizaki has been revived from Linebarrel.

Linebarrels of Iron - Season 1 - Episode 11
Kouichi and Yamashita are met by a new Arma of the Katou Organization, called Yaoyorozu, in outer space. While controlling the satellite weapon, Yaoyorozu, piloted by Riku Ousei, continues its simultaneous assault on different parts of the world. Kouichi’s attempts to obliterate Yaoyorozu are thwarted by its incredible maneuverability and speed. The operation to destroy the satellite weapon from the ground also ends in failure. With no options left, even Linebarrel gets diverted off the combat zone.

Following Yajima's instructions, Kouichi reaches an abandoned Russian base in search for Kizaki, but it was only Katou who was waiting for him there. Christmas season has arrived. Kouichi is invited to a party Risako is organizing. Kouichi finds out that the JUDA task force is also preparing a Christmas party. Unlike Kouichi, who feels unenthusiastic about this “workplace” party, it is more of a family party for most of the members who consider JUDA their home. The party mood is suddenly interrupted by the news of an American satellite weapon being taken over by the Katou Organization. This would allow the Katou Organization to attack any part of the world. Assigned to shoot down the satellite weapon, Kouichi and Yamashita head into outer space.

Fantasista Doll - Season 1 - Episode 7
On her way home from school, Uzume is challenged by another member of the MDAG named Kiyoshi Kiyomizu, who overwhelms her dolls with his team's rugby formation, but she is aided by Manai and Kagami, who force Kiyoshi to retreat. Rafflesia gives Uzume a card that brings forth a special technique when master and dolls work together as one, but it appears to only summon random objects upon scanning. As Uzume trains them to work cooperatively, the objects soon take the form of pieces of a cannon, though they can't figure out how to use them, with Sasara placing the blame on Uzume.

Linebarrels of Iron - Season 1 - Episode 7
Domyouji, one of Kouichi's classmates, starts acting over-familiar toward Kizaki. Sensing Kizaki's discomfort, Kouichi challenges Domyouji to a fight, but oddly enough, cannot even touch him. Later on, Kouichi is visited by Hisataka Katou, president of the Katou Organization, who attempts to offer him a position in the Katou Organization. It is revealed that both Kizaki and Katou are from a different dimension. Meanwhile, Risako confronts Kizaki concerning her relationship with Kouichi.

Chrono takes on a quest from a foreigner who wants him to show how Vanguard is played in Japan. At the rendezvous point, Chrono meets the client, a young Spanish man named Jaime Alcaraz. Despite what the quest said, the overly-positive Jaime is more interested in sightseeing and learning about Japanese culture than playing Vanguard. After much shopping, sidetracks, and run-ins with Shion and Tokoha, Chrono and Jaime overhear two children arguing; one little boy wants to have a cardfight with the other older boy, who refuses him. Jaime persuades that boy into fighting by offering him the delicacies he bought throughout the day. So, the two boys fight, and the younger boy manages to win. Afterwards, the two kids become friends, and Jaime decides to give all of his food with both of them. Just when Jaime finally wants to play Vanguard with Chrono, Mamoru appears and reveals Jaime's real identity; he is actually a rising star fighter from the European League and has been invited to Japan to compete as part of the Euro team in an interleague match against the Tokyo team (which Mamoru is a member of). In the end, Jaime recommends for Chrono to watch the match and then takes his leave with Mamoru.

Chrono is invited to the first Card Capital shop where he is introduced to Aichi Sendou. Along the way, Chrono gets to learn more about Aichi, who later gives him a new Gear Chronicle card that has a hefty activation cost. When the trio reaches the shop, Kouji is not present. Near the end of the day, Doujima, a top-ranked Dog Trainer from the United Sanctuary branch, appears to take Taiyou back. Chrono decides to fight Doujima, using the new Gear Chronicle card, Chronodragon Nextage, to win the long and difficult battle. However, Taiyou still feels the need to become stronger and returns to the branch with Doujima. Although Chrono failed to change Taiyou's perspective, he stays determined to show him how fun Vanguard can be. But unbeknownst to Chrono, Taiyou is selected to undergo a special training program...

The U20 continues into its second stage. Dubbed the Castle Royale, fighters will battle each other in a five-tiered castle area. The first four teams to reach the top of the castle and have the highest amount of points will then advance to the final stage. Furthermore, unlike the first stage, once a fighter loses a match, they will be eliminated with no chance of returning into battle. As the Castle Royale goes underway, Taiyou fights and loses to Team Diffrider's Verno Farenheart.

Kouji leads an elite team, including TRY3, on a mission to infiltrate Ryuzu's lab to retrieve both his Depend Cards and the units that he had summoned from Cray. There, the group is separated due to the efforts of Ryuzu's security robots led by a young boy named Hiroki Moriyama, a member of the "Company". Chrono and Kouji are furthered separated from Kamui, Tokoha, and Shion; those three wind up in battles against the other Company members, which consists of the enigmatic Sousuke Wakamizu, the Dark Zone branch chief Satoru Enishi, and Shouma. Meanwhile, Chrono and Kouji come face-to-face with Ryuzu. He reveals his ambition to gather specific units called the Zodiac Time Beasts to open the Stride Gate, which he believes will perfect the world. Ultimately, the Company successfully stalls for enough time to transport the Time Beasts to another location and escape. However, due to the accumulative side effects from summoning the Time Beasts, Ryuzu dies but not before giving his last words: "For though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again."

Near the end of the first stage's third day, Tokoha fights and defeats her rival Rin, who has always been like a wall for her. With this victory, Tokoha's team advances to the second stage, which leaves only two spots remaining.

After learning from Mikuru that his father was a cardfighter and died while on Vanguard business, Chrono feels lost on what he should do. He tries to talk to Shin about it but decides not to. Sensing Chrono is troubled over something, Shin proposes to have a fight with him as a way to find the answer for himself. Shin shows that despite his appearance, he is a highly skilled fighter as he counters Chrono's tactics with his Murakumo deck. At the end of this fierce battle, Chrono manages to win on a gamble. Afterwards, Shin deduces that Chrono was asked by a family member to stop playing Vanguard, and Chrono realizes that he loves the game so much that he cannot quit. So, Chrono eventually confronts Mikuru and tells her his true feelings about Vanguard. Revealed to be acquainted with Shin and hearing from him about how much Vanguard changed Chrono's life, Mikuru now understands Chrono's feelings and allows him to continue playing the game.

However, Shion believes his possibilities are endless as he strides his new G unit Aerial Divine Knight, Altmile to turn Shouma's prediction on its head and make a comeback victory.

Team Trinity Dragon stumbles upon a secret facility run by Wakamizu, and they challenge him. If any members of Trinity Dragon beat Wakamizu, then he will tell them his scheme. However, if Wakamizu defeats all of Trinity Dragon, then they will become guinea pigs for his experiments. Both Karl and Tsuneto lose, but Kei gathers information from their fights to finally defeat Wakamizu. As promised, he tells them that he has been using this facility to gather Stride Force to summon the last Zodiac Time Beast and open the Stride Gate. Wakamizu escapes by activating the facility's self-destruct mechanism. Team Trinity Dragon also escapes before the facility is destroyed, and the group tells Kamui what they have learned. After praising them, Kamui informs them about everything that has happened.

The second day of the U20 first stage ends. As all the teams return to their homes, Chrono meets Team New Nippon and has dinner with them. Meanwhile, Rin decides that she is fed up with being on the team. She challenges Shion to a cardfight on top of a skyscraper; if she wins, then she will quit. At first frustrated by Shion's reasons for wanting to enter the U20 in the first place, Rin rekindles her own fighting spirit through this fight. Afterwards, Rin decides to stay with the team.

Cardfight!! Vanguard - Season 8 - Episode 21
The third day progresses with only eight teams remaining. Kazuma finds himself playing against Luna Yumizuki, who wants to make him smile through this fight. Though initially pressured by Luna, Kazuma defeats her and becomes a fan of hers. Meanwhile, Chrono loses to Nagisa, who mentions that Kamui entered the U20 because of Kouji. Chrono tries to ask Kamui about this but is unable to get an answer from him.

After the tournament, Shin talks with Chrono and reveals that he and Chrono's father Rive were friends and teammates. Knowing that Chrono wants to face Ryuzu Myoujin and despite warning him that he may die, Shin decides to have a cardfight with Chrono to test his resolve. During the battle, Shin reveals Ryuzu was involved in Rive's death, which causes Chrono to worry that Mikuru will be put in danger as well. But with some encouraging words from Mikuru, Chrono makes up his mind; he will protect both her and Vanguard from Ryuzu.

Shion finally manages to call out Ace and challenges him to a cardfight. While battling, Shion reveals all he has learned about Ace, including that the mastermind behind everything is Ryuzu Myoujin. But before Shion could get Ace to confess (to a hidden camera), a biker rides in and escapes with Ace. During the escape, Shion sees that Ace's true identity is Am.

Using the special bracelets awarded to them for winning the tournament, TRY3 infiltrates the United Sanctuary branch. However, a security guard mistakes them as native fighters and separates the trio. Tokoha is horrified by the harsh training programs of the branch and decides to confront Rin about it. Elsewhere, Shion is taken to a GIRS arena where he is challenged to a cardfight by that guard who is in fact Yuya as Shion had suspected. While battling against Yuya's new Shadow Paladin deck, Shion is forced to wear the bracelet which delivers physical pain to him whenever he takes damage. When Shouma appears to spectate the match, Yuya reveals how it was Shouma who invited him to the branch. Yuya eventually rose up the ranks and gained the position of Dog Trainer, a security personnel/disciplinary teacher who punishes losers and enforces the branch's mottoes of "winning is everything" and "weakness is a sin" to others. Offended and outraged upon hearing of the branch's morals, Shion swiftly defeats Yuya and then confronts Shouma. Meanwhile, Chrono meets with Taiyou again and tries to convince him that his current mentality of wanting to become strong is not right. As Chrono attempts to flee from the facility with Taiyou, Kouji stands before him.

Despite the overwhelming power of Kanzaki's Aurageyser Doomed, Chrono still has fun with the fight as he manages to completely protect himself from Kanzaki's assault. This leaves the audience in awe and Taiyou realizing the error of his ways. As he and the crowd start to liven up, Chrono makes one final attack with his Chronojet Dragon on Kanzaki. The force is so great that it destroys the GIRS system. Mysteriously, the attack makes it through and hits Kanzaki, which makes him come to a realization. In the end of the arduous fight, Chrono defeats Kanzaki, who suddenly declares that he will resign as manager of the United Sanctuary branch. Afterwards, Chrono and Taiyou reconcile, and Kouji pays a visit to Shin...

A sudden power outage occurs, which was caused by Onimaru and his team. Amidst the confusion, Onimaru tries to sneak his way into the field but is halted by Chrono and Kouji. Onimaru and Kouji have a cardfight with Chrono observing them. However, when the power comes back on, the fight is called off. Later, as the first stage resumes as normal, Onimaru returns to his original objective: a portal that Noa Hoshizaki of Team Nippon had accidentally stumbled upon. Inside the portal, Onimaru performs a Different World Ride, making Noa become possessed by Star-Vader, Chaos Breaker Dragon.

Cardfight!! Vanguard - Season 8 - Episode 7
A month has passed since Tokoha began studying abroad in France, where she is also assisting with the Vanguard Association's Paris Branch. One day, she is introduced by Jaime to a young man named Miguel Torres, a polite albeit unlucky cardfighter who aspires to be a pro in the future. Through a friendly match with him, Tokoha learns that despite Miguel's misfortune, he is indeed a strong fighter and passionate about his dream of becoming a pro. The next day, Tokoha and Miguel spend the day together when she explains how she has yet to find a goal for herself. Nonetheless, Miguel expresses how he will wholeheartedly support her. Some time later, Jaime calls Tokoha and tells her that Miguel has died.

Cardfight!! Vanguard - Season 5 - Episode 40
TRY3 finally receives the invitation to the promised match against Team Demise. At the same time, the Dragon Empire branch chief, Ryutarou Oyama, plans to hold an assembly to discuss with all the other chiefs about the United Sanctuary's harsh training programs. Believing the special match is a chance to show the fun of Vanguard to the fighters of the United Sanctuary branch, Team TRY3 attempts to convince Ryutarou to hold off on the assembly until afterwards. This leads to a cardfight between Chrono and Ryutarou, with Chrono successfully conveying his honest feelings of wanting to display how fun Vanguard can be. After the fight, Ryutarou explains that the assembly will still be held but after the special match. Until then, TRY3 individually train themselves for the upcoming match, with Shion and Tokoha gaining new cards for their efforts. Finally, the day of the special match arrives...

Cardfight!! Vanguard - Season 8 - Episode 25
All eyes turn to the cardfight between Chrono and Noa; whoever wins will earn his team the last spot to the second stage. As the fight goes on, Chrono slowly realizes that Noa is not acting like his usual self and is reminded of the time when he fought Onimaru. Despite overbearing pressure from Noa, Chrono makes a comeback victory, thus allowing Team Striders to advance to the second stage.

Cardfight!! Vanguard - Season 6 - Episode 8
While Shion continues his search for Ace and Chrono visits various card shops for special training, Tokoha feels left behind. While wondering what to do, Tokoha ends up helping Misaki run a tournament at Card Capital 2. After the tournament ends, Misaki decides to have a cardfight with Tokoha. Misaki sympathizes with her after having experienced the same feelings that Tokoha is going through. When Misaki was pondering what to do with her life after graduating from high school, she saw an event where two boys have a touching reunion through Vanguard. It was that moment in which Misaki knew what she wanted to do: to watch over Card Capital, believing card shops are precious places of chance meetings where people can become friends and continue to build relationships. After the fight, Tokoha now realizes what she can do, learning from Misaki to just be herself.

Cardfight!! Vanguard - Season 5 - Episode 43
During an intermission, Team TRY3 and Kamui sneak into the headquarters of the United Sanctuary branch. They are eventually caught and brought in front of Kanzaki, who reveals his true ambitions. Kanzaki has been using the branch to set up harsh regimens to train fighters who would wear special bracelets, which transfers a unique energy called "Stride Force". The gathered energy was supposed to be used to awaken the previously-mentioned miracle card, dubbed the "Depend Card", but Kouji had stolen it and escaped during the special match. After Kanzaki releases the group, Chrono is given the Depend Card by Kamui, who had received it from Kouji prior to the infiltration. With the card currently blank, Chrono regains focus on getting Taiyou back to his normal self in the upcoming final game of the special match. Elsewhere, Kouji is on the run but is confronted by Shouma. After recalling his encounter with the original owner of the Gear Chronicle deck who told him about the Depend Card, Kouji fends off Shouma and continues onward.

After Team TRY3 is reunited, Kouji informs the trio about how the United Sanctuary Branch uses their harsh training programs to strengthen cardfighters and how these people are participating in them of their own volition. With TRY3 still believing the branch's ways are wrong, Kanzaki decides to fight the team by himself. As Kanzaki makes his counterarguments to TRY3, he reveals that a certain fight he had was what influenced him into becoming the elitist he is today. After mentioning something about a "miracle card" that he encountered, Kanzaki defeats TRY3. Later, it is revealed that Kanzaki's true goal is using the branch's training programs to fulfill the conditions of making that miracle card appear before him again and then claim it.

Cardfight!! Vanguard - Season 5 - Episode 41
Following Taiyou being revealed as the newest member of Team Demise, the first game of the special match between TRY3 and Demise begins with Tokoha facing off against Rin. Like the last time they fought, Rin tries to taunt and irritate Tokoha. However, Tokoha instead remains calm and has fun with the battle, which infuriates Rin. After realizing how much Rin is stuck up on Mamoru, Tokoha wins the fight with her new G unit Dream-spinning Ranunculus, Ahsha. Soon afterwards, a disgusted Rin quits Team Demise, and the special match moves on to the next game, which will be between Shion and Shouma.

Cardfight!! Vanguard - Season 5 - Episode 36
Team TRY3 participates in a tournament held at the United Sanctuary branch. The top three fighters will earn not only the right to be part of the branch's special selection but also the chance to fight against Team Demise. As the tournament progresses, TRY3 notices the peculiar behavior and "winning is everything" mentality of the United Sanctuary branch's fighters. In the final round, Chrono faces a familiar friend: Taiyou Asukawa, who has drastically changed from his former timid soft-spoken self. Unbeknownst to Chrono, Taiyou was subjected to a special strengthening program in which he fought against Chrono's Gear Chronicle deck in simulations, thus turning him into a cold calculating fighter. In spite of Taiyou predicting and countering Chrono's every move, Chrono turns the fight around in his favor and wins. After Taiyou is taken away by a security guard who suspiciously looks like Yuya Karasumori, TRY3 is appointed the winner of the tournament. However, the team feels that something is amiss...
