Everybody arrives at Camelot College (a wizard school). Just as they're about to land, Mildred crashes her broom into a tree. Bars and Gars watch her through a telescope and pretend they're airport control. They call HB the secret weapon when they see her. ""All is not well, mon capitain!"" Everyone runs over to see if Mildred's all right. She is. Cackle says that it's a good thing Mildred landed prematurely, because it reminded her that you should always greet wizards on foot. ""We witches sometimes have a clear advantage. Wizards aren't so good at flying."" They walk up to the castle and Hellibore makes an ostentatious entrance, calling his pupils forth and making them recite a lame poem that they all look suitably embarrassed to recite (particularly the ones that look to be nineteen or so??). Miss Crotchet and her choir get back from some music contest type thing where they won a silver cup for best unaccompanied chorus. Miss Drill's very happy for them. Crotchet explains that Griselda and Sybil filled in for Enid and Mildred. Clarice is sick. Fenella and Griselda tell Miss Drill that there was a professor from Vienna at the contest who was quite taken with Miss Crotchet. Crotchet brushes it off, ""It's just the girls having a bit of fun. You know how excitable they are."" She's wandering around singing and making a spectacle of herself the next day. Just then, who should show up but Professor Von whatever his name was. He comes into the school and invites the choir to give a performance in Vienna. Clarice doesn't hear properly because she has cotton in her ears. The Professor has lunch with Miss Crotchet and Miss Drill. Fenny and Gris show up and say that there isn't anything to eat, because Ms. Tapioca is on holiday or something. They have a plate of bananas or something. T

PC Nick Klein is back on the beat after his spell in rehab for drug addiction, and not many people are pleased to see him back, but Klein is eager to show he has reformed and is up to the pressures of the job. Paired with PC Gary Best, they attend a break-in at a young woman's flat, which seems to be part of a campaign of harrassment by property developer Charles Vanderbilt to force two women to sell their flats to him. Reluctant to testify, but holding out for more money, the women stay put, until an arson attack takes place with fatal consequences. Acting DI Samantha Nixon investigates a different series of burglaries, and when the latest victim is DCI Jack Meadows estranged wife Laura, the link is revealed to be an internet dating agency which all the women used. PC Gabriel Kent uses his knowledge of Insp Gina Gold's drink driving to blackmail her into putting him forward for an advanced driving course at Hendon. DC Eva Sharpe is having problems at home.

Nixon drags a wounded Hunter out of the line of fire of an enraged Dennis Weaver, and the two escape into an abandoned Tube tunnel. Hemmingway is frustrated when red tape prevents her from helping pregnant teenager Shirley, who has been badly beaten. She angrily confronts Okaro, and his reaction attracts the interest of Thatcher. Best tracks down Shirley's mother and Hemmingway convinces her to testify against Rifkin. Realising Nixon and Hunter are missing, Manson and McAllister try to track them down with the help of his informant Stephen Fletcher. A delirious Hunter admits to Nixon that he blackmailed and betrayed Klein, but when Nixon tries to get help, Dennis Weaver attacks them.
#13 - Closer to Home
The Bill - Season 20 - Episode 83
With little over fours remaining, Nixon must rally the team to discover Abi's location before it is too late. Looking over her old cases, she realises that former nemesis Peter Baxter may have something to do with Abi's abduction, but in interview, he claims to be totally innocent. When Wallis trips up and mentions one of Abi's nicknames in passing, Nixon realises that Abi's abductor has been under her nose all along. A search of Baxter's industrial unit reveals a series of numbers, which have been graffited on the wall, which provide co-ordinates as to Abi's location. A search of a local container yard finds Abi alive and well, but Nixon is upset to find that her evidence against Wallis has disappeared from his car.

The Bill - Season 21 - Episode 5
Sam and Abi hideaway in Peter Baxter's empty flat in an attempt to stay out of Hugh's clutches. However, back at the station, Jack's lack of support for Sam grows stronger when Hugh claims that Sam has abducted her own daughter. When Phil realizes that Sam's suspicions have been true all along, he confronts Hugh but finds himself the recipient of a formal complaint. Sam desperately tries to make Abi realise she has been brainwashed, but Hugh continues to try and win her over. Meanwhile, Terry and Jim interview one of Karen Burnett's friends, and in a search of wasteground near to his place of work, she is found dead having been the victim of a violent assault.

Leela finally manages to persuade her father to give evidence against Salim Haq, but an intimating message accompanied by a bouquet of flowers become the catalyst for him to change his mind. Jo warns Gary against approaching tom Eve Miller for information, but Gary ignores her orders and Jo is forced to pick up the pieces. As Jack and Rowanne get closer to nailing Haq, Jo and Phil find that a handgun is missing from rival Yusef Miah's flat. Meanwhile, Gabriel sets out to prove schoolgirl Gemma Bentley is being abused by her stepmother, and finds an ally in Sheelagh. However, his methods are soon questioned when the stepmother comes into the station to make a complaint.
