Hotshot FBI agent Brooke Haslett's search for a missing woman brings her to Indianapolis, where she follows a hunch about a U.S. senator's involvement in the disappearance of a young woman. The investigation takes an unexpected turn when Jess Mastriani, a young local woman, begins having dreams about a missing girl after getting struck by lightning. She is shocked to learn that the dreams are giving her metaphorical clues to the girl's location but an impulsive decision ruins the situation for all involved. When the FBI finds out about her dreams they ask her to work for them as a special consultant & Brooke is made her partner. She also dreams about the missing woman Brooke is searching for. But Brooke finds it difficult to take these clairvoyant dreams seriously as each one points toward events in the past.

Brooke is offered a promotion that would move her to San Francisco and end the her and Jess' partnership.

They begin to close in on one of her other patients, with all signs pointing to a kidnapping for ransom. Just before the ransom drop, the woman is found but her baby has been surgically removed.

Meanwhile, the entire squad must undergo a psychiatric evaluation, Nicole and Antonio's romance hits a stumbling block, and Pollock's career is in jeopardy.

Missing (2003) - Season 2 - Episode 1

Jess goes to Quantico to train to be an FBI agent after Brooke transfers to San Francisco. Jess is passed from the training school by powerful John Pollock to work with her new partner, rule-breaking hip Nicole Scott as well as evidence expert Antonio Cortez. In the team's first case, a teenaged girl is caught on a survelliance camera stepping on an elevator with a stranger at a shopping mall. The elevator goes down a floor and opens to reveal an empty car. The girl is not seen for days after this incident. Nicole and Jess must work together to use Jess' visions and Nicole's experience and street smarts to solve this case.

#36 - The Big Bang Theory

It is three months since the event of the pilot episode. Mac, in particular, is not happy. He is still working for the vixen known as the Director and Li Ann is still in love with Victor. The trio are sent to get a computer disk off a criminal. Unfortunately he is killed before they can, and in the heat of the moment - Mac quits. Surprisingly, the Director lets him go. Li Ann goes to find him but he refuses to come back when he realises she still loves Victor.
