Although Bridget made it clear to Nick she would not be able to raise Dominick Jr. as her own child, after she takes Dominick to the hospital to visit Felicia she promises her sister that she will do whatever she can to help her and Dominick in life, and promises that Dominick will always know Felicia as his mother.

Stephanie shows up at Brooke's door to try to get Brooke to leave Taylor and Ridge alone. Nick takes some of the blame onto himself, and Taylor confides in him that she is afraid that she is becoming dependant on alcohol to numb her pain. Eric tells Stephanie that they must arrange a funeral for Felicia, but Stephanie refuses to discuss it. Jackie later visits Eric and she agrees that Stephanie's behavior is strange. Stephanie visits with a doctor and talks to him about Felicia. Stephanie later sits by Felicia's side, as she is connected up to machines and is still alive.

Brooke returns to the home she had shared with Ridge. With Bridget's help, she breaks the news to Hope about their new move. While cleaning her things out of the bedroom that Ridge and Taylor now share, Brooke is devastated to realise it is truly over. Brooke tells Ridge that he is weak for letting Stephanie manipulate him. Sally stops by to see Stephanie in the hospital, and wants to celebrate Brooke's misfortune. Eric overhears their conversation, and is disgusted. Jackie tries to push Nick towards Brooke again, but he insists he's only there as a friend.

Bridget admits to Dante that she misses Dino. Dante tells her that they will have him back with them tonight. Felicia tells Christian that her son is her best medicine. Christian sits with Felicia and later kisses her. Dante and Bridget come by to pick up the baby, but Felicia tells them that he is living with her now. Ridge is furious when he sees Brooke and Nick together at the courthouse but Massimo reminds him to remain calm. Massimo later pushes Jackie to come between Nick and Brooke but she refuses. Eric comes to the court to support Jackie. As the bail hearing commences Jackie meets her lawyer but he doesn't seem too possitive about her release. Things get out of hand as the prosecutor details Jackie's offences. Massimo offers to post bail, but things fall apart when he is questioned about Jackie's affair with Deacon.

Brooke narrowly misses seeing Taylor in Hector's arms, while Taylor tries to convince Hector that he must go. Eric warns Stephanie that she needs to learn to accept Brooke.

Jackie is happy to see Nick home from his honeymoon. Jackie comments on how things should be on the up for him and Brooke now. Stephanie tells Brooke that the company can no longer be hers if she isn't married to Ridge. Brooke is angered that she believed Stephanie had accepted her when in reality it was all about Ridge. Brooke refuses to sign the company back over to Stephanie, so she decides to find another way to steal it back. Ridge is surprised to see Donna. She tells him that Brooke marrying Nick was a mistake. Ridge is prepared to move on and is happy that he still has Brooke to work with. Stephanie goes to Nick and tries to make him jealous about Brooke working with Ridge in an attempt to manipulate him. Donna listens in as Brooke tells Ridge that she will no longer be modeling for the company. Ridge tells Brooke that he needs her.

Hector is angry when Samantha's mother, Priscilla, arrives to help Samantha with wedding plans.

Darla can't believe the crowd's reaction, particularly a certain group of girls. They later turn out to be cheerleaders that Sally planted in the audience.

After giving her one of his newest creations to try on, the two get passionate in his office. Clarke stops by to see Giovanni and learns that he left a note inviting Morgan out for dinner. Morgan finds the note in her office, along with the rose Giovanni left, and looks forward to going out with the photographer. Clarke stops by to tell Morgan that Giovanni will be late, and manipulates her into giving him the name of the restaurant. After the delivery woman drops off the roses he was waiting for (and her phone number), Giovanni heads to Morgan's office to find a note from Clarke. At Mannequins, Taylor warns Morgan to stay away from Ridge.

Amber runs back to her rental and tells Clarke that Bridget fell into the mineshaft.

Morgan takes care of Ridge while the two are in the air on their way to Italy, Ridge having no idea what's going on. Bridget returns home from her date with Nick and tries to comfort Brooke, who is worried about Ridge.

They're relieved to hear that both Ridge and Bridget are alive.

Eric isn't thrilled when Lauren points out Rick and Amber at the Café Russe, but Lauren wants him to see that Amber has changed. Eric is certain that it's all an act and manipulation. Lauren points out that Amber wants the marriage to work and is committed to making Rick happy. As the evening goes on, Rick notices there's something different about Amber. She admits she went to Lauren for help, explaining that she wants to be better for Rick, and for his future. Rick is touched, and kisses her gently, as Lauren and Eric look on.
