#3 - Poison Gas Monster Appears

Season 3 - Episode 11 - Aired 6/18/1971

Mognezun was a monster who had been feeding on the Yellow Gas (a real life world war II weapon) dumped by Japan's Army, giving the monster his poisonous gas powers. Mognezun used his gases to attack trespassers who neared his territory before MAT could react or arrive. After taking out one of MAT's members, the rest of MAT tried to take care of the situation, at first they seemed to get the advantage by placing a giant muzzle over Mognezun’s dangerous mouth, but Mognezun eventually pried it off and sprayed his gas at Goh, luckily Ultraman Jack appeared and the two fought. While Ultraman tried to fight the monster, Mognezun used his poisonous spikes to paralyze Jack and started poisoning Jack with his gas. MAT quickly returned with a new weapon, a gas machine that exhaled a white gassy substance that made Mognezun's poison flammable. Jack proceeded with firing the Specium Ray and igniting the gas. With Mognezun's gas effect nullified, Ultraman Jack was able to regain control of the fight and ultimately struck Mognezun in the head with his Meteor Kick, causing Mognezun to keel over and die.

#15 - Dinosaur Explosion Directive

Season 3 - Episode 10 - Aired 6/4/1971

An ancient skeletal sauropod dinosaur, Stegon was in suspended animation beneath the ground of Japan. A construction crew managed to awaken Stegon. After spewing small amount of acid on one of the workers Stegon arose from one of the hills. MAT was quick to respond to the scene, but their attacks did little beyond annoying Stegon. Goh turned into Ultraman Jack and began to tackle the skeletal sauropod. While try as the ancient reptile did Stegon was of little match for Jack in hand to hand combat. Before Jack could finish Stegon off some near by children were yelling out to him not to kill Stegon. Jack simply used his paralysis beam, lifted Stegon, and turned his body into a constellation of stars just like the original Ultraman did with Gavadon four years earlier. The children were happy and MAT then left.

#16 - Two Giant Monsters Attack Tokyo

Season 3 - Episode 5 - Aired 4/30/1971

Three boys just out of school run across an unusual rock-like shell that falls off a truck at a construction site. Naturally they believe it to be some sort of fossilized monster egg (from 'the Jurassic Era', as one kid puts it). Shortly thereafter a burrowing creature emerges from the side of a mountain near the building site. MAT is on the scene but fails to obliterate the beast with bombs after Goh sees a little girl on the ground nearby. This refusal to follow orders gets Goh placed under house arrest for three days. Meanwhile, a second creature appears, and a battle ensues between both monsters and Ultraman.
