After a young computer programmer is found brutally murdered, Homicide Detectives Stevie Hall and Jack Cooper find themselves on a twisting road through his fatal last days, while still managing their own spiralling personal lives. Taking them through the dark worlds of addiction, webcamming and revenge site posts, the detectives work overtime to find the killer. Meanwhile, Jack deals with the fallout from the revelations in her relationship with Marc Savage. Still living in his condo, Jack must come to an agreement with Marc that doesn’t leave her out on the streets, and allows Marc to keep his family life intact. Meanwhile, Stevie’s family life seems to be suffering from a lack of excitement, as she and her husband Jono suffer through the malaise of a couple that’s been together too long, and have too many child and work-related tasks to deal with before they can even think about time together.
