Whitney, Allie, Erin and Samantha go out for dinner at Delicatessen. Erin comments on how envious she is of the girls' careers -- with Allie as a model, Whitney working for DVF, and Samantha at Bergdorf. She's tired of doing the hostess gig and wants to figure out her career path. Allie tells Erin that her manager at One Management, Scott Lipps, is always looking for new and exciting people and offers to pass along Erin's resume. Then, Whitney invites the girls to Kelly Cutrone's birthday party. Samantha can't attend but Erin and Allie are up for a girls' night out. Erin has an interview with Scott at One Management. Her poise and confidence impress Scott and he offers Erin a production coordinator position. Erin is excited about the new gig, since it combines her two loves: fashion and music. Before heading over to Kelly's birthday party, Erin, and Allie join Whitney at her apartment. Whitney warns them that Kelly is a very "in your face" type of person and will "tell it like it is." Allie tells the girls that she likes people like that. The girls head over to Southside Nightclub for the birthday party. As they get seated in a cozy booth, Kelly stops by their table and Whitney introduces the girls. Allie immediately tells Kelly that she's heard how honest Kelly is and asks, "what do you think of the outfit?" Kelly responds, "I like you...but I don't like your leggings." Everyone laughs until Kelly leans in and asks Allie if she is "okay." When Allie doesn't understand the question, Kelly adds, "you seem so skinny." Allie seems a little taken aback but tells her, "it's not like that." Kelly seems concerned but leaves the table telling the girls that she's going to DJ. As Kelly makes her exit, Erin's ex-boyfriend, JR, emerges from the crowd and heads over to the girls. After he's introduced to the table, Whitney and Allie escape to the dance floor. Erin and JR are both all smiles as they catch-up. Whitney, Kelly and Allie rejoin Erin and JR. Kelly tell

Season 2 - Episode 7 - Aired 6/8/2010

It's almost time for (another) New York Fashion Week! Although Whitney doesn't have a show this time, she decided to update her line (based on Anne Slowey's advice). While she shows Roxy some new sketches at People's Revolution, Kelly walks in and announces she needs help on the David Delfin show. Roxy immediately volunteers herself, prompting Kelly to issue a stern warning: if you screw this up, "I will fire you." Meanwhile, Joe Zee is going over the Fashion Week calendar to make sure ELLE gets as much coverage as possible. Zoning in on the Marc Jacobs show, Joe asks Olivia to use her connections with the designer to score an exclusive backstage interview. "We'll definitely get an interview," she promises him. Of course, it never hurts to have a backup plan. When it's her turn to speak, Erin tells everyone about her exciting new prospect - fashion reporter Louise Roe, who Erin wants to start doing on-air coverage for ELLE.com. Over at People's Revolution, Roxy is putting together a seating chart for David Delfin when Samantha drops by to take Whitney to the Charlotte Ronson show. Whitney tells Kelly about their front-row seats (courtesy of Bergdorf Goodman), and Kelly encourages her to bring her Look Book to network as much as she can. Soon after, Whitney and Roxy take their seats at the Charlotte Ronson show (in Bryant Park), when they spot Louise Roe. Turns out, in addition to being a fashion writer (and ELLE UK vet), she is also Freddie Fackelmayer's ex-girlfriend! After the show, Samantha introduces Whitney and herself to Louise, and the girls immediately hit it off. "Freddie has good taste!" Whitney laughingly admits. "Well, duh!" Samantha replies. That afternoon, Whitney arrives at Maybelline's offices (book in hand!) to meet with makeup bigwigs Denise Quattrochi and Charlotte Willer. Whitney enthusiastically describes her target demographic, a career gal who can go from day to night, and then wows the women with pictures of her collection. Impres

While on the job, Whitney gets a call from Jay about an apartment he wants her to see immediately. She tells Olivia she wants to check out the place, but doesn't want to leave the shoot. Olivia, a native New Yorker, offers to help Whitney apartment hunt later but Whitney decides to leave early and goes to meet up with Jay. Whitney and Jay check out the apartment in Gramercy Park, only 2 blocks away from Erin's place. Later, Whitney is elated to tell Olivia that she got the apartment she saw with Jay. Now feeling like she's on top of the world, Olivia shakes up her spirits with a little unwelcomed advice: you need to be more independent and your own person. Season 1 - Episode 2 - Aired 12/29/2008

Whitney meets for lunch with Alex, a model who she had previously gone on a date with during one of her trips east with People's Revolution. Hills fans will remember that the second time she saw Alex, after a fashion show they worked together before her move, she blew him off for Jay, who she's been with ever since. Whitney apologizes to Alex for leaving him that night and tells him that she's been seeing Jay. Alex admits that while he was a bit hurt, that's not why he's invited Whitney out for lunch. He goes on to tell her that his roommate is friends with Jay's ex-girlfriend, Danielle. According to what Alex has heard, Jay recently told Danielle that he wasn't seeing Whitney anymore and that the exes spent the night together. Whitney is visibly upset by the story, but tells Alex that she has to decide who she's going to trust. Back at Erin's apartment, Whitney recaps what Alex told her. She tells Erin that the story made her heart sink to her stomach and that she isn't sure who to trust. Whitney decides she's going to talk to Jay about it and let him know that she may be new to the city, but that she's not that naïve. While playing basketball in Central Park, Adam asks Jay whether he plans to stop seeing other people as things get more serious with Whitney. They discuss timing for such a conversation and agree that neither would want to be the one in the relationship to bring it up. When Olivia goes out to dinner with her cousin, Nevan, they discuss Whitney, who Nevan advises Olivia to take her under her wing. Olivia concurs and tells him that she'll bring Whitney with her to the Manolo Blahnik event she's attending at Bergdorf Goodman. Whitney meets up with Jay at Café Noir to discuss the story he heard from Alex at lunch. Jay explains his side of the story: Danielle approached him to talk and that he got a cab home for her, not that he went home with her. After getting the go-ahead from Kelly, Whitney and Roxy fly down to Miami to get everything ready for the Gen Art Fresh Faces in Fashion show. Whitney quickly sizes up the competition (one of the other designers worked at Vogue!), but Roxy refuses to feel intimidated. "You worked at Teen Vogue!" she points out, reassuringly. Although Whit warns this could be "competitive," Roxy encourages her friend to embrace the challenge. This is a chance to separate ourselves from Kelly, she tells Whitney. But are they ready to step out on their own? Back in New York, Joe Zee gives Olivia one last opportunity to prove herself to the magazine. Her mission? Score an exclusive interview with Zac Posen at the premiere party of his new Target collection. Olivia promises to get the goods this time (after all, she and Zac are friends!) but not before Joe reminds her what's at stake: "You gotta deliver if you wanna keep your job," he warns. Otherwise, Louise Roe (Erin's impressive new find) is ready to "take your place." Over in Miami, Whitney and Roxy (and the other Gen Art designers) gather at the Catalina Hotel for a model casting. After a quick meeting with the event producers, it's time to pick models for the Unveiled cocktail party the following night. Whitney chooses Erica, a pretty brunette, to represent her line, but then spies another designer trying to move in on her model! Whit and Roxy immediately jump into action, staking their claim on Erica -- and telling the designer, Romina, she'd better find someone else. Looks like these girls can take care of themselves!
