The famous Maltese Monkey is stolen out of the Rich Family vault where it was stored for safekeeping.

#3 - Giant Pearl [Gems]

Season 3 - Episode 18 - Aired 10/23/1982

Gloria stubbed her toe while she and Richie were swimming in the ocean. Richie discovered that it was a giant clam, and carried it to shore. When he discovered that the clam contained a giant black pearl, Richie had to think of a good use for it. In the end, Richie decided to use the pearl as a bowling ball.

The Dragon Man steals an inventor' s youth-maker ray, planning to rob the Japanese treasury.

Two bees were plotting to invade a picnic Richie and Gloria were enjoying, but then learn that a swarm of robot bug guards, supposedly Richie's idea, scared the bees away.

Richie loans out Cadbury to help at his homespun cousin Alfalfy's hoedown. What a surprise when Gloria and Richie are greeted by a folksy but still proper butler.

#7 - Boy of the Year [Riches]

Winning the Boy of the Year award is not so easy, particularly when Richie has to deal with Reggie's dirty tricks and two crooks.

#8 - Dollar's Exercise [Treasure Chest]

Season 3 - Episode 27 - Aired 11/6/1982

Hoping to win $1,000 for charity, Dollar enters a race against double--dealing Reggie and his canine.

#9 - Richie's Cube [Gems]

Season 3 - Episode 26 - Aired 11/6/1982

Gloria had successfully solved a Rubik's Cube, and gave Richie a chance to try it. But Dollar intervened and was anxious to try it, but assuming he didn't know what he was doing, he destroyed the cube. Gloria was disappointed, but Richie had an idea. Later that day, he fixed the cube and gave it to Gloria, but it was studded with jewels, gold and dollar signs, which never surprised her one bit.

#10 - Guard Dog [Treasure Chest]

Dollar's ego gets a boost when he takes the place of the robot guard dog and saves Mrs. Rich's jewel collection.

#11 - Everybody's Doing It [Riches]

The Rich Family's retirement party for their security guard, Pops, is interrupted by The Bubble, who uses his sticky gum to steal the entire Rich Factory.

#12 - Hard to Study [Treasure Chest]

Richie has to write an essay on what it's like to be rich but never gets started because his vault overflows and plummets him out of the house. He explains that being rich means you never get to finish your homework.

Reggie Van Dough wants to brag to Richie about his new camera which has so many different features. Richie then says that his camera is not that special, other than the fact it spews pictures (similar to a Polaroid Land camera) complete with a solid gold frame.

Richie has a difficult time proving his identity when two thugs dress and act like him so they can rob the family vault.

Gloria Glad is on the street trying to sell plants for charity. Richie wants to contribute, but instead of just paying her money, he gives Gloria a plant, which she finds odd-looking. She is amazed to learn that it grows $20 bills, taking care of Richie's contribution.

#17 - Richie and the Ball Room [Gems]

Season 3 - Episode 6 - Aired 10/2/1982

Richie was playing baseball with his Latino friend Manuel and his team. Suddenly, a rainstorm develops, and Richie decides to continue the baseball game indoors - in the ballroom of the Rich Mansion.

#18 - The Pie-Eyed Piper [Riches]

Season 3 - Episode 17 - Aired 10/23/1982

The Pie-Eyed Piper, recently escaped from jail, steals Mrs. Rich's rare diamond crystal from her music box so he can play his unique music to open up all the bank vaults in the city.

The young prince of Shirik is kidnapped by his sinister uncle before his coronation day.

Jungle Man, whose power over animals helps him to steal a powerful growth formula, is chased throughout South America's lush greenery by Richie Rich and his friends.

Two thieves program a suave, electronic robot to sweep Irona off her feet so they can steal everything in the Rich manor.

In England, a crook was searching for accounting ledgers at Castle Rich, but gets haunted by ghosts resembling ancestors of Richie and his parents.

Because the party decorator, chef Pierre, and the handyman are all sick, Cadbury assumes their duties in addition to his own. Mrs. Rich is certainly impressed with his diligence but dubious when he appears dressed in all uniforms at once.
