Thinking it's bound in human skin, a seller offers Obscura a bizarre book, which Mike excitedly brings it to a DNA lab to find out if it's the real deal. Upon arriving at a huge oddity collection downtown, Mike and Evan find that the prices are higher than they had anticipated, leading to some debate over the items each want to purchase. Later, an intriguing carnival performer offers to do a cutting-edge stunt with a light bulb for a store discount.

Evan takes the challenge of finding the perfect gift for a customer's dentist, but after he questions her pick of a rare dental display, she finds that the hunt is going to be tougher than she anticipated. Later, the world's smallest escape artist has his eye on a coffin and hopes to get a discount if he gives the Obscura team a show. Finally, Mike and Evan get a lead on a huge collection of medical oddities from around the world, but after a long ride they find the owner may be more interested in show-and-tell than a sell.

A very particular collector stops by the shop with a sizzling request, sending Mike and Evan off on the hunt.
