The lie that Zeynep has told comes out into the open with all of it's ugliness. There is nowhere left to run and hide any longer. Mehdi feels like he has been conned. His pride has been hurt. Mehdi's pain and disappointment spreads to his family as well. The blow that their relationship has taken causes even more of a storm at home. Some of the truths that Nermin remembers confuses Zeynep even more. As she takes her steps she is now forced to consider all of this as well. As Mehdi is trying to make a decision regarding the future, he is totally unaware of the danger that is approaching.

After Mehdi's death, perhaps with this traumatic pain, they have experienced, everyone has learned the last great lesson from life. After everything that has happened and with the last incident witnessed with their own eyes, even though some may not want to admit it but, their own heart is burning with fire. Zeynep, Cemile and Benal are devastated, and everyone around them must also be allowed to grieve, so they all bond together in order to help each other through this. During the grieving process, Baris takes a step back, leaving Zeynep alone with her own thoughts, but without taking his eyes off her. Slowly everyone starts to return to their normal lives, to remember how they actually lived. Before too much time passes, everyone, especially Zeynep, begins to give signals that they will make an effort to recover. As adults with experience, families take over the situation and plan a crisis recovery for all of the younger generation who are thrown around their pain.

When Zeynep meets Mehdi's dark side she is heartbroken. For years she has been running from her fate, but it continues to surround her. As Mehdi is trying to figure out what is happening, Sakine opens her mouth and tells a lie without thinking what the consequences are going to be, and this lie cracks open another door in Zeynep's marriage. Zeynep is now face to face with the fact that she and Mehdi know nothing about each other. Faruk feels like he has been betrayed and he starts to makes thoughtless and stupid moves. He has no intentions of giving up on Zeynep very easily. Mehdi finds a way of dealing with his mistrust of Zeynep. However when some photographs show up, it becomes obvious again that they are many difficulties between them that still have to be resolved.

When Sakine finally gives up on Bayram, her relationship with Zeynep is wounded in such a manner that will be difficult to repair. The ammunition that she has against her daughter have started to lose their effect on Zeynep. Zeynep has reached the point of giving up her future. However the step that Mehdi takes gives her the courage and support to stand much more firmly on her own two feet. The books regarding her life, that Müjgan had closed suddenly and unexpectedly reopen. Life starts to test Müjgan's weak points as well. As Zeynep is preparing a surprise for Mehdi, she comes face to face with a much larger surprise herself.

Zeynep has two totally different lives with two mothers who have totally different expectations from her. She is stuck in the middle of those two women, while also attending law school. For years while trying to balance both sides evenly, she also continues to question who she is and to which family does she really belong to. Mehdi has first taken on the responsibility of his family and then added on the responsibility of the neighborhood. His mother decides that the only way she might be able to her son out of this darkness that he is in, is to marry him off to one of the girls in the neighborhood. On her birthday Zeynep receives a marriage proposal from her boyfriend Faruk, however step by step it is Mehdi who is coming closer and closer. Zeynep once again is not going with the plans for her life, but having to go with what is meant to be in her life, thus she is being dragged back to the home in which she was born.

Zeynep, who enjoys loving and being loved, learns for the first time that her happiness does not mean peace. She has a difficult test not only at home, but also outside, for her life. While Mahdi is struggling with doing things right for everyone, he cannot find a way out and is driven into despair. Dealing with all this, he also finds himself in the middle of the lie that Kibrit has told, when school started. At home, Müjgan now has a completely different mission. Cemile takes on a path she knows so she stand on her own feet, with the help of the Sultan, but Sultan, who resists her daughter's absence, has other plans for Cemile. While Nermin is fighting her own demons in her cocoon, all she thinks is Zeynep. The helping hand that stretches out at an unexpected time will allow Nermin to see some realities more closely. Driven to a mistake with the seeds of jealousy planted by Sakine, Zeynep will find herself in a state she never wanted to be against Mahdi.

However, this time as a determined, faithful lover, Zeynep takes out Baris, and herself, for the last time from the corner where they are stuck. They no longer have to tolerate unhappiness, despair, and hurt. Baris stands with hope, like every faithful lover, in the face of this healing and restorative attitude, which he has not seen from Zeynep for a long time. They are now on the way to establish a home that is ready to be settled and will not easily be allowed to be ruined by anyone. While Baris has already begun to scar on their necks, Zeynep and Sakine will appear before Gülbin, whose heart is hardened, unexpectedly, and will sow the undeniable seeds of goodness.

Nesrin and Tarik introduce themselves as brother and sister to Baris, Zeynep, and Nermin; but it's obvious that they are a couple and come here with a plan. Tarik and Nesrin fall into a situation that can reveal their identity but the help they receive from Meltem helps them. Gülbin tries to from her mother Sakine as she has a feeling that she is going to recognize her for who she really is, but she still goes ahead and attends the dinner invitation as Nesrin accepting the dinner invite made by Baris and Zeynep. After dinner at Baris's house, the games begin, and the problem is that Emine does not like Nesrin at all. Emine has very strong feelings against Nesrin, so this causes the night to end very early for everyone. Afterwards Emine once again firmly warns Zeynep to be very careful. Meanwhile with Tarik's arrival at the restaurant and joining them for dinner causes much friction when he is introduced to Ali Riza. Ali Riza's instincts do not like or trust Tarik at all.

Gülbin enters Zeynep's life with the name of Nesrin, and even though she is sliding into her life, she is going to wait for the right moment to appear as Gülbin, the girl they left behind. The families work together on their plan step by step, to pick up the pieces left behind and left all of the younger ones broken and in mourning. Zeynep accepts her mother's decision to take over the management of the company with the support of Baris and Nesrin. Nesrin continues her plan and finds a way of convincing Zeynep that bringing on her "brother" Tarik would be a good move as well. But Baris has no intention of leaving Zeynep and Nermin alone, and he is not going to allow anyone who comes to ruin the peace to do so, but will not hesitate to ruin their piece in return. Tarik and Nesrin quickly establish their place and manage to get everyone to like them and accept them as well. However, Baris is keeping an eye on these two strangers who have entered into their life at full speed.

As Müjgan is burning with pain of her dreams and love that she buried deep inside her heart many years ago, Mehdi declares his version of Marshall Law on the entire household. However it is only Zeynep who looks at this Mehdi and decides that she needs to do whatever she can to change him. Mehdi who has been trying to change in the name of love, is now burning because of love. He cannot keep the promises that he has made as he is burning with anger and taking it out of everyone. In the end as usual it is Zeynep who is stuck in the middle of all this, and once again it will be Zeynep who is force to pay the price.

Before Zeynep can experience the second chance she got at work, she is again shocked when Mehdi gets into trouble. Sultan, who is her great support, takes a big step to save her daughter from the neighborhood by sacrificing both her house and the shop. As the problems regarding Burhan increases, everything else around them starts to become a problem as well. Mehdi's anger begins to take over their lives step by step.
