#15 - MOTD - 8th November 2014

Season 2014 - Episode 13 - Aired 11/8/2014

Gary Lineker presents highlights from all of today's Premier League fixtures. On paper the biggest fixture looked to be Chelsea's visit to Liverpool. The Blues' 2-0 victory at Anfield last season ended Liverpool's 11-match winning streak and spelled the beginning of the end for the Reds' title hopes. So far this season it has been the London side who have looked the more likely champions but there is still a long way to go, and today's result could prove crucial. Other fixtures today included Manchester United hosting Crystal Palace at Old Trafford. The Red Devils did the double over Palace last season but both sides have changed managers since then. Elsewhere, last season's champions Manchester City visited QPR, while Burnley and Hull met at Turf Moor. Southampton welcomed Leicester to St Mary's while there was a battle of the claret and blues when West Ham and Aston Villa met at Upton Park.
