Tandy and Tyrone lose loved ones on the same tragic night, but are somehow spared. Over the following years, Tandy's world of hope and privilege gives way to cynicism and crime. Tyrone is caged when he must live his life in fear. When they meet for the first time since, a power awakes in each of them. Tyrone finds himself teleporting uncontrollably. Tandy discovers she can conjure daggers made of light. The teens use their powers to find the justice they are owed, as they take back the lives that were stolen from them.
