Ten thousand years ago the God of War, Jiu Chen, fought the vile demon lord in a battle so intense, it pushed him to the outermost edge of his limits. After Jiu Chen leaves without saying goodbye, Lin Mo decides to search for him. Seeing Lin Mo suffering in the Mortal Realm, Jiu Chen rushes to her side but decides not to interfere with her trials. Jing Xiu tries to take Lin Mo away and reveals that Jiu Chen is only there because of Ling Xi. When Lin Mo passes out, Jing Xiu uses his Life Pearl to keep her alive.

Lin Mo travels alone and runs into Jing Xiu, who has become blind. Unknowingly, she helps him time after time. Meanwhile, Jiu Chen succeeds in planting the five senses in a chosen house. The peach blossom tree has grown and Si Ming has to show Lin Mo the way there.

In the Mortal Realm, Lin Mo finds comfort in Jing Xiu, who is blind. She also shares the ripe peaches with Physician Sun and learns how to make wine. In Heavenly Palace, Cheng Yan fights against Yuan Tong, and both get seriously injured. Lord Tian Lei insists on entering Demon Prison Tower, but Jiu Chen comes back in time to stop him.

Lin Mo helps Jing Xiu remove the White Bone Nails from his body. Only someone from the Phoenix Tribe should be able to remove them, so Jing Xiu starts to become suspicious. Meanwhile, Mrs. Guan tricks Lin Mo into letting her introduce a man to her.

Caught between Jiu Chen and Jing Xiu, Lin Mo decides to send Jiu Chen away and tells him that she's enjoying her current life. While Qing Yao comes up with new medicine, Yu Li spends a lot of time around Yun Feng. Seeing this, the Medicine mistakenly believes that she is interested in Yun Feng and seeks the Heavenly Emperor's blessings for their marriage.

Just as Yun Feng and Qing Yao are getting closer, Yuan Tong uses the Xingshen Pill to get the heavenly troops in Mount Youdu killed and frames it on Qing Yao.
