Zed is a 15-year-old boy with an affinity to trouble. Where ever he goes, trouble seems to find him. Zed has one dream, one wish: he wants freedom. He wants to feel the wind on his face. One day, while running from the authorities, he is transported, via a portal, to a new world, the world of "Shard Casters!" These warriors are able to use magic and control monsters called "Spirits" using magical crystals called "Shards." Zed does his best to be a Shard Caster, not realizing that something within him controls the future of the world.

#3 - To the Place Where the Wind Blows
Season 2 - Episode 25 - Aired 3/25/2007
The episode starts with Zed getting enveloped in Tusker's power; Tusker releases himself and uses Zed's body and spread his wings to reveal his true form. While Zed is inside the endless abyss in Tusker getting lectured about how humans are bad because they want power, all the spirits get released. In the end Tusker is defeated, spirits go back to where they came from, Zed tries to attack Amil Gaoul but ends up shifting and merging with Amil Gaoul and teleports to Calm where the city's wind has returned.

Roia and Jiko head to Task to look for Zed. Upon arrival Roia is attacked by Sara while She and Jiko look for Zed. Zed comes running after hearing Roia's scream. Robes is sent to gaurd Zed because of a note that says that No-Face is planning to steal Zed's Spirit Shard. When Zed gets away from Robes but is caught by him moments later. Why they are talking No-Face appears and knocks out Zed and takes his Spirit Shard. Robes fights him but loses and is framed as No-Face. Now the city is under attack and Zed must face Dumas who is behind Zed's stolen Spirit Shard. Can Zed defeat his own Spirit with only a sword?
