Seven centuries have passed since the Earth plunged into darkness, seven centuries since the Jettator swore to regain from man his lost knowledge and freedom, all the Immortals took the oath, all except one. Who dominates the world, but soon an Immortal will come to confront him, his name is Quentin MacLeod, he is the Highlander. This animated series followed the adventures of Quentin MacLeod, the Last of the MacLeods. Set in a post apocalyptic world almost barren of technology and civilization. The Jettator's or Immmortals oath was to lay down their swords and when Kortan decided not to swear the oath so began the wait for the Highlander. It was contended by this series, which was made before Highlander Endgame that Kortan took Conner MacLeod's quickening.

Season 2 - Episode 10 - Aired 10/3/1995
Arak captures Neil Dundee, one of Quentin and Clydes kinsmen. Tired of his tomfoolary, Kortan decides to replace Malone with Neil. Wanting to keep his position as Kortans "Human Key", as well as his life, Malone lures McLeod to Mogonda, but then helps McLeod and Neil escape.

We learn that the great castrophe occured when a meteor collided with the Earth, setting off the worlds nuclear weapons. Ramirez and McLeod find the satellite station and the immortal who could have averted the disaster from ever happening.

Season 1 - Episode 13 - Aired 1/8/1995
Quentin journeys to meet Yashoda, the Jettator who holds the knowledge of the martial arts. When his vanity overcomes him, Quentin fails to pass Yashoda's test of readyness to receive his quickening. However, he promises a second chance after Quentin has gained the knowledge of all the remaining Genetors.

Ramirez shows Quentin how the Great Catastohphe came to pass. In doing so, Quentin decides the horrible knowledge of nuclear weapons is something he can not bear and runs away. They then meet Promethus, the Jettator who guards the knowledge of atomic power, who's immortality has become a prison from the radiation. But Kortan has come for the quickening also. Finally Quentin relents and receives the quickening of atomic power.

Kortan decides to challenge Quentin aboard a rusty ship in a desert. In the middle of the duel, Quentin temporarily experiences a huge disadvantage as he loses his eyesight. The fight becomes more arduous given Quentin's inability to see and Kortan's deceptive strategies. Each duelist is intent in winning this perilous battle

The Dundees are attacked by bandits with a terrible weapon used in a time before the Great Catastrophe. Ramirez learns it is a machine gun when he performs a magic called surgery upon a wounded Dundee. Quentin has gone with the Dundees in search of the bandits and the weapon. They find the bandits held up aboard the remains of an ancient aircraft carrier.

Ramirez takes Quentin to meet Stevenson a once daring and powerful Jettator who built a dam before the Great Catastrophe that generates a special kind of energy called electricity.
