Seven centuries have passed since the Earth plunged into darkness, seven centuries since the Jettator swore to regain from man his lost knowledge and freedom, all the Immortals took the oath, all except one. Who dominates the world, but soon an Immortal will come to confront him, his name is Quentin MacLeod, he is the Highlander. This animated series followed the adventures of Quentin MacLeod, the Last of the MacLeods. Set in a post apocalyptic world almost barren of technology and civilization. The Jettator's or Immmortals oath was to lay down their swords and when Kortan decided not to swear the oath so began the wait for the Highlander. It was contended by this series, which was made before Highlander Endgame that Kortan took Conner MacLeod's quickening.

Kortan orders the hunters and beuraucrats to work together, but with a new, powerful weapon under his command, Esclipious feels that Arak and his men an no longer neccesary.

We learn that the great castrophe occured when a meteor collided with the Earth, setting off the worlds nuclear weapons. Ramirez and McLeod find the satellite station and the immortal who could have averted the disaster from ever happening.

Arak captures Neil Dundee, one of Quentin and Clydes kinsmen. Tired of his tomfoolary, Kortan decides to replace Malone with Neil. Wanting to keep his position as Kortans "Human Key", as well as his life, Malone lures McLeod to Mogonda, but then helps McLeod and Neil escape.

Fredrickson, the Jettator with the Knowledge of genetics cloned himself to preserve his knowledge in case Kortan found him, but his clone turned evil and attacks Quentin during the night.

Kortan seeks Volta, the Jettator with the knowledge of Nuclear Power. While the Hunters race McLeod to the prize, Esclipious is given absolute control of Mogonda, much to Arak's persistant dismay.

Renegades from a cult of people who worship, and make human sacrifices to "the immortal" recognise Quentin as the cult's false god.

Matsuda, a Jettator with the knowledge of robotics, lost a hand to Kortan. He builds a cyborg warrior to kill Kortan for him.

McLeod, Ramirez and CLyde find a society of Grans living wild, and learn that while they are actually very intelligent, wild Grans have an inherant distrust of both humans and their domesticated counterparts. They will have to earn their trust, however, to fight of a hunter attack.

The heroes find a young man in the aftermath of a hunter raid. Rather than abandon him, Mcleod convinces Ramirez to take the boy to his grandfather in the Eagle Valley

After encountering a burning water called oil, Ramirez and Quentin try to visit a Jettator named Errol who knows all the secrets of the Earth. They instead find a tortured and demented soul named Melvyn who thinks he is an Immortal. Making things worse Quentin's sister Clyde looks like Melvyn's daughter, whom he believed to have perished at the hands of Kortan's Hunters.
#23 - The Last of the MacLeods
Season 1 - Episode 1 - Aired 10/16/1994
Kortan sends forth his Hunters lead by Arak to confront the Dundees. Living among the Dundees is Quentin, who has lived his life as a Dundee. After Arak kills Quentin the Quickening restores him to life and his dying mother tells him he is a MacLeod and is the chosen Immortal to defeat Kortan. Quentin promises his mother to rescue the Dundees and follow his destiny. Ramirez then appears after waiting seven centuries to reveal the oath taken by himself and other Immortal such as Mangus to become Jettators. Now is the time for Ramirez to take Quentin into being his apprentice. But can Ramirez teach the young boy enough before he confronts Kortan for the first time?
#24 - The Last Weapon

The Dundees are attacked by bandits with a terrible weapon used in a time before the Great Catastrophe. Ramirez learns it is a machine gun when he performs a magic called surgery upon a wounded Dundee. Quentin has gone with the Dundees in search of the bandits and the weapon. They find the bandits held up aboard the remains of an ancient aircraft carrier.
#25 - The Suspended Village

Quentin has a fear of heights and must conqueror that fear before he recieves the quickening of the winds.
