Whilst "in charge" he attracts the amorous attentions of funny Welsh-talking Gladys Pugh, the Chief yellow coat. Meanwhile Ted Bovis, the camp comic, runs the show whilst Peggy, the cleaner, aspires to become a yellow coat.
