#1 - Armageddon

Season 4 - Episode 10 - Aired 11/15/2019

The attack on the internet appears to be successful. However, Daniel has a second plan. He threatens to detonate the children, who are now wearing bomb vests. Esther knows the extent of his capabilities, and it isn’t until Dries and the team secure the children’s safety that she confronts Daniel in a final showdown.

#2 - Trophies

Season 4 - Episode 2 - Aired 9/20/2019

A container filled with illegally hunted animals is intercepted at the Port of Rotterdam after a tip from South African rangers. Inside, authorities find a fresh human skull, identified as belonging to a Dutch student who had been interning in South Africa. A South African liaison joins the team to assist with the investigation, much to Dries’s delight. The trail eventually leads them to a Chinese enterprise trafficking in protected animal species.

#3 - Suicide

Season 4 - Episode 1 - Aired 9/13/2019

The detectives face an exceptionally violent armed robbery of a cash transport vehicle. The robbers don’t hesitate to open fire on bystanders and police. Two of the three robbers commit suicide before they can be apprehended. Eventually, the detectives manage to capture the third robber, but whether he has answers to their questions remains uncertain.

#4 - Fatum

Season 4 - Episode 9 - Aired 11/8/2019

Noucha saves a man who is on the verge of dying from a heart attack. Only later does she learn from her colleagues that the man is a notorious criminal—an elusive human trafficker with a long record of abuse and murders of his wives. Despite previous investigations, they have never been able to catch him, as his wives refuse to testify against him. Noucha is determined to bring him to justice. Meanwhile, Esther finds herself in serious trouble within Daniel's sect. She uncovers their active pursuit of Armageddon and their plans to sabotage the internet to achieve their goal.

#5 - The Lawyer

Season 4 - Episode 5 - Aired 10/11/2019

A well-known criminal rapper is shot at after a visit to his lawyer. He suspects his lawyer of complicity, especially when Stan and Noucha discover that the lawyer also works for a rival. The lawyer’s life is now in danger, and Hein persuades him to become a crown witness. Meanwhile, Esther and Dries investigate a rape case. DNA found on the victims matches that of a man who has been convicted for stalking his ex. Esther is skeptical of the accusations, and it seems her doubts may be justified.

During a burglary at Hein's, his deceased daughter's computer is stolen. When the computer resurfaces, it turns out to be full of child pornography. Berg is suspended and Hooi removes his team from the investigation, which will be taken over by the National Criminal Investigation Department. But the detectives have no intention of stopping. They discover a conspiracy at the Public Prosecution Service where love affairs and careerism have led to a toxic mixture. Esther tries to find her way in Daniel's sect.

A colleague of the detectives is killed in an attack on Robin. She must confess to her colleagues that she has been secretly working on an investigation into Tina (crystal meth). Stan is angry about her lack of teamwork and keeps a close eye on her. Dries and Noucha, through a well-known police informant, track down a group of Romanians who claim that there are more players in the market. Meanwhile, as Robin continues her own investigation, things begin to spiral out of control.

#9 - Grenade

Season 4 - Episode 3 - Aired 9/27/2019

A grenade placed in front of a hair salon results in tragedy. The detectives investigate and soon suspect that most business owners on the street are being extorted. Did someone resist, leading to a grenade at their doorstep? Or should the culprit be sought elsewhere? The detectives ultimately unravel the story behind this drama, but whether the true culprits will be punished remains uncertain.

#10 - Cheated

Season 4 - Episode 4 - Aired 10/4/2019

A recently released cleaning lady is executed on the street after finishing her work. She had been incarcerated for the murder of her stepfather. Stan and Noucha investigate whether this past crime could be the motive for her murder. They discover that the woman had big plans after her release, including attempting to blackmail a high-ranking official. Contrary to her image, she hadn't been living a promiscuous life after her release. Meanwhile, Dries and Esther investigate the possible suicide of a professional tennis player.
