Tiff and Vicki find the best 4×4 available in Britain for under £20,000. Returning guest presenter Jason Plato (a British touring car champion) drives the Chrysler 300C which has a Hemi! Adrian goes and meets Richard Hopkins, one of the top players in “World Rally Champonship 3″ for the Playstation 2 who is now trying out real rally racing.

Tiff and Vicki go and visit Jay Kay from Jamiroquai (some British band I think) to view his car collection and race around in some buggies. Tom reviews the new Peugeot 407. Fifth Gear Shootout: Tiff races two vans against each other - a Ford Transit T280 and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 213 CD1.

Vicki, Adrian and Tom go out and look for the ultimate Mini and come across some very cool mini’s. Tiff goes to Malaga in the south of Spain to drive Klaas Zwart’s supercar, the Ascari KZ1 at his supercar track resort. Tom talks about the new Land Rover Discovery.

#12 - High-Speed Blow-Out
Season 5 - Episode 4 - Aired 4/19/2004
Tiff and Vicki show what happens when tires blow, whether run flats are really any good and whether you can race on run flats. Tom reviews the new Mercedes-Benz SLK. Tiff sees which is faster around a track - a Mini Cooper or a diesel Skoda Fabia. Vicki drives that British amphibious vehicle, the Gibbs Aquada.

Fifth Gear Shootout: Tiff finds out which is quickest, the Porsche Cayenne or the BMW X5. Jon finds out what Britains think the most prestigious car in Britain is. Vicki drives the new Citroen C4 VTS. Tiff follows a competition where the Renault Formula 1 team will choose one young person to become a new engineer on their team.

Jason drives the new Jeep Grand Cherokee Vicki drives the £85,000, 207 MPH Superformance Le Mans Coupe, a replica of the Shelby Daytona Coupe. Fifth Gear Shootout: Tiff races two hot hatches, the Honda Civic Type-R versus the Renault Clio 182. Jon Bentley examines what happens in crash compatibility problems - where cars with different bumper heights and strengths collide like with a SUV and a small car.

Season 7 - Episode 2 - Aired 3/28/2005
Jason drives the new BMW 3 series on a 1000 mile, 48 hour road trip through Spain and France. Fifth Gear Shootout: Vicki compares the Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG to the Mercedes-Benz SL55. Tiff flys to Northern Sweden to try out some winter driving in a Jaguar and shows how well ABS, traction control, and the electronic stability program (ESP) work.

Tiff talks about some people’s fear of driving and with some help from a car psychologist, helps cure a woman of her fears. Tom reviews the awesome Aston Martin DB9, the best Aston Martin yet. Vicki gets some NOS and makes a diesel Golf compete with a Honda NSX driven by Tiff.

Vicky and Tiff find out what happens when you crash an old model of a car into a new model of a car and which fairs better. Guest presenter Jason Plato (a British touring car champion) drives the new Ferrari 612 Scaglietti. Tiff finds out which is fastest, the Citroën C2 GT or the Ford Sport Ka.

Jonny tries to find some sexy coupes for less than £1500. Vicki pushes Bentley’s fastest ever production car, the 200 mph Continental GT Speed, to the limit. Tiff drives a NASCAR race car around a track. Tom Ford tests Jaguar’s make or break executive saloon, the XF. Jason finds out if the Lotus Elise SC, the first model to be fitted with a supercharger, is the best version ever. Shootout: Volkswagen Golf GTi versus Subaru Impreza WRX.

Jonny helps Light Welterweight boxer Ricky Hatton restore his Reliant Robin van used in the British sitcom Only Fools and Horses.

Tom drives the new Volkswagen Scirocco around Wales. Jonny compares the Hyundai i800 to the Chrysler Grand Voyager. Tim investigates people who call up car sellers offering to help sell their car for a fee. Jason teaches Moto GP star James Toseland to drift in the new Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Jonny finds out if new Jeep Wrangler is better or worse than a Willys Jeep from World War II. Tiff attempts to set an alternative-powered quarter mile record in a Lotus Exige 270E TriFuel. Shootout: Vicki in the brand new Porsche Boxster RS60 Spyder and a last-generation Porsche 911 Carrera 2.

Tiff and Jason put the BMW M3 and the Lexus ISF head-to-head to see which is faster and more exciting with some help from some girls. Tom sees if the new Subaru Forester is as good as the Land Rover Freelander 2, the benchmark in small SUVs. Bruno Senna, nephew of F1 driver Ayrton Senna, is a special guest presenter this week and compares the Porsche 911 Turbo to the Nissan GT-R on the track. Vicki participates in the Subaru convoy in tribute to the late Colin McRae. Tom drives the Dodge Challenger SRT-8. Jason teaches John Prescott to drive a race spec Jaguar XKR. Shootout: Vicki in the Vauxhall Astra Nurburgring and the Ford Focus ST.

Tim shows some loopholes in the new 2009 UK car tax code. Jonny sees if the new Volkswagen Passat CC can match the Mercedes-Benz CLS 500 in terms of refinement. Tom drives the new seemingly-pointless BMW X6. Jonny examines the new Citroen Berlingo Multispace’s practicality by turning it an ice cream van at an amusement park. Vicki heads to the Goodwood Festival of Speed to race the electric Tesla Roadster and the Breckland Beira. Tiff in the crazy KTM X-Bow. Shootout: Jason pits the Honda Civic Mugen RR, imported from Japan, against the Honda S2000.

F1 driver Jarno Trulli tries to get the most out of the hybrid Toyota Prius. Jason Plato pits the Volkswagen Passat R36 against the Audi A4 3.0 TDi in a contest of petrol power and diesel torque. Tim Shaw tests the acceleration claims of a range of performance motors. Tiff Needell competes with world speedway champion Jason Crump in a race of car versus bike.

Tim investigates why it can cost up to £200 just to change a headlight bulb on a Renault Mégane. Vicki spends a day with Lewis Hamilton at the Brooklands Motoring Festival. Jonny sees what kinda car you can get if you swore off drinking alcohol for 3 years and saved the money instead. Jason goes powersliding in the new Porsche 911 GT2. Tom drives the new Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG, crash tests a second-hand convertible in a rollover crash. Shootout: Tiff puts the latest Mazda RX-8 against the Nissan 350Z.

#25 - Episode 1
Season 14 - Episode 1 - Aired 8/11/2008
World snooker champion Ronnie O’Sullivan asked Fifth Gear to help him choose a new car to spend his winnings on, so Vicki takes him out onto the track in a Mercedes C63 AMG and a BMW M3. Tiff and Jason put the Mitsubishi Evo X FQ300 and the Subaru Impreza WRX STi head-to-head on the track. Tom tests Ford’s new SUV, the Kuga, by driving it on snow, road and mud. Jonny investigates if cars are worth more as scrap than as a functioning car. Tiff tries out the world’s first underwater car, the Rinspeed Squba, which was inspired by James Bond’s white Lotus Esprit in “The Spy Who Loved Me”.
