While the 31st Beauty Pageant is being broadcast live at the ultra-luxurious 'White Tree Resort' one contestant who was supposed to go on stage in the finals is found dead in a luggage storage cabinet. The victim was a 26-year-old woman and was identified as Park Hye-ri, participant number 28, from Seoul. The victim was predicted to be a strong candidate to win this beauty pageant as she was selected at the most competitive preliminaries in the Seoul area. 30 minutes after the incident, five people involved in her death are suspected.

At 10:35 p.m. on May 27, 2015, a report was received that a body was found at the Morgio Apartment located in Amum-dong, Nunu, Seoul. Her victim, a resident of room 804, was Hye-rim Kim. When the body was discovered, she had scars on both the left and right sides of her head and was lying facing the sky with fractures all over her body. After touring the crime scene, the detective suspect starts suspecting a few people that showed suspicious behavior.

The victim was Yoo Ki-hwan, the second in command of the cruise ship. He was found bleeding profusely and died in a warehouse. At the time the body was discovered, a fireworks display commemorating the disembarkation was occurring on deck, and five people who had not been seen at the display were brought on board as suspects.
