The conversation about money and career is a difficult point in their relationship. This also applies to Sara and Anne. While Anne quits her job to get into the podcast and writing, Sara is applying. She is offered her dream job, but there is something in return: moving abroad.

Tijdens een stage bij een uitgeverij raakt Anne verzeild in een affaire met haar baas Esther, die 20 jaar ouder is. Hun seksueel gedreven relatie blijft binnen de muren van het kantoor, totdat Esther Anne na de kerstborrel bij haar thuis uitnodigt. Zodra ze bij Esther thuis zijn, verandert de sfeer en wordt het duidelijk dat Esther echte gevoelens voor Anne heeft.

Anne wordt wakker in haar nieuwe appartement met een onbestemd gevoel. Ze rommelt wat in huis en haar ex Lily komt langs om bij te praten. Met Lily gaat het heel goed, zij heeft alles op een rijtje. Anne is blij voor haar, maar ook gefrustreerd. Als Anne later die dag met haar ouders praat die langskomen raakt ze alleen maar meer gepikeerd. Ze weet het gewoon allemaal even niet. Wanneer Lily later die dag nog een keer terugkomt, laat Anne al haar overpeinzingen even los en laat zichzelf gaan.

Now that Anne is not allowed to have contact with Lily, she wants to draw more to her best friend Jip. But Jip is just dating her ex Maya again and Anne is jealous. Also because Maya has written a successful book, Anne's long-cherished ambition. Now that she is no longer in contact with Lily, Anne becomes somewhat isolated. She is uncomfortable, which is also reflected in her work, just now that she is having an evaluation interview.

Anne's activism emerges when two boys who walked hand in hand are beaten up. She organizes a demonstration against violence with friend and former colleague Max. Both are fully absorbed in their mission and do not pay attention to their relationship. Anne, for example, forgets to ask about Sara's important application, so she does not know that she has been offered a job abroad. Max also misses that Teun is busy with completely different things. Teun gets a bit uncomfortable with the demonstration and wonders if he and activist Max are not too different.

Na Lily heeft Anne behoefte aan iets spannends; iets totaal anders. Dit vindt ze in Janna, een stoer, feestend, iets ouder meisje. Ze gaat met haar mee naar feestjes, probeert drugs en ontmoet haar vrienden. Maar al snel voelt ze dat het allemaal erg oppervlakkig blijft en ze toch behoefte heeft aan meer diepgang. Ze confronteert Janna met haar geslotenheid en ze gaan uit elkaar. Anne blijft achter bij haar vrienden met wie ze de beste connectie heeft, nadenkend over hoe zij zelf eigenlijk in het leven staat.

#13 - Aflevering 1: ANNE+ Lily

Season 1 - Episode 1 - Aired 9/30/2018

Anne en Lily hebben een relatie sinds het laatste jaar van de middelbare school. Nadat ze allebei naar Amsterdam verhuizen duurt het niet lang voor Anne doorheeft dat zij en Lily uit elkaar aan het groeien zijn. Anne laat zich meevoeren in de hectische energie van Amsterdam en realiseert zich dat als ze allebei gelukkig willen zijn, hun relatie moet eindigen.

#14 - Aflevering 3: ANNE+ Sofie

Wanneer Anne voor de eerste keer de excentrieke Sofie ontmoet, voelt ze zich onmiddellijk tot haar aangetrokken. Ze beginnen te daten, maar de meeste communicatie verloopt via sms. Anne valt als een blok voor Sofie, ook al zijn er duidelijke signalen dat het gevoel niet wederzijds is. Wanneer Anne via een sms wordt gedumpt, beseft ze zich dat ze in haar hoofd een hele wereld om haar en Sofie heen heeft gecreëerd die helemaal niet bestaat.
