The girls talk about what they would do if they won the lottery, leading them to suspect one of them may be a winner. Later, they visit the Tokyo Tower where more strange conversations are to be had. Afterwards, a discussion about vaccination turns into a bout of imaginary pregnancy.
Tsukiko explains that she felt her clingy behaviour drove Tsukushi away from her, which led to her making the wish on the stony cat. As Yōto tries to ask Tsukushi about this, it is revealed that she was the one who made the stony cat as a way of apology to Tsukiko following an argument. The next day, Tsukiko asks Yōto to help her shop for costumes for her performances with the children. Later that night, Yōto encounters Tsukushi, who states that she wants to get rid of her sisterly bonds with Tsukiko and doesn't believe her lack of expressions to be related to the stony cat. Afterwards, Tsukiko expresses her concerns that if she were to get her expressions back, there would be nothing connecting her to Yōto. Earnestly wanting to help Tsukiko, Yōto gets Azusa's help and calls out Tsukushi to the stony cat. There he asks the stony cat to take away his urge to run away in exchange for his underwear. He announces that he loves Tsukiko as his little sister leading to Tsukushi to reveal that she does love Tsukiko, albeit in a romantic way and that she wants to cut off their sisterly bonds so that they could get marry in Massachusetts, a dream that is quickly shot down by Tsukiko. Tsukushi then calls out to the stony cat, who returns the meat bun containing Tsukiko's expressions, but Tsukiko decides to give it to Tsukushi instead. Some time afterwards, as the stony cat's power has assumedly disappeared and Tsukiko has been rather cold towards him, Yōto is shocked to discover his house has suddenly disappeared.

Kinji and Aria give the rosary to Riko who does not keep her promise to testify and instead decides to attack the two of them so as at to defeat them and surpass her ancestors. Sayonaki-sensei then appears behind Riko tasering her until she becomes subdued and then steps on her and causes her pain. Sayonaki-sensei turned out to be the demon, Vlad and attacks both Aria and Kinji. Kinji saves Riko and tries to fight Vlad with Aria. The only way to kill him is to simultaneously shooting his four weak spots, but they fail to find the last one and Kinji is knocked over the edge of the roof they are fighting on. Riko saves him and Aria and helps him re-enter hysteria mode so that he can make a plan to kill Vlad. Kinji then figures out the final weak-spot, his mouth and the three of them kill Vlad. After Daikichi goes to an exhibition at Rin's school where he meets some other fathers, he discovers that Rin has stomach flu. With Rin refusing to eat or drink and her fever rising, Daikichi becomes worried, but Yukari manages to help him out. She suggests that Rin should use Daikichi's family name to avoid subjigation by her classmates. Banri confronts Koko; Koko explains the reason why she decided to resign from the Festival Club is due to Banri's unwillingness to be in the same place as her. Banri reveals to Koko that his memories from before his accident are returning and he would eventually return to his former self; his memories since the accident by then will disappear. After Banri thanked Koko for all they'd shared together, the two agreed to become friends with Koko revoking her resignation from the club. Moreover, Koko promises Banri that she will stay by Banri's side as long as Banri won't forget Koko. Afterwards, Banri tries to patch things up with Mitsuo, who had not contacted Banri since he revealed to Mitsuo his past with Linda. Meanwhile, with their school festival fast approaching, Banri's condition worsens, much to Koko's fright. Nijigen, bewildered by his friends actions and is feeling left out of what's happening, intends to have a get-together with the gang for the sake of reviving their friendship. After being agreed upon, Banri later suffers another memory break and runs off — calling out desperately for Linda. After returning to his senses, Banri plans to return to his hometown, feeling certain that his memories and former self will return. During their school festival, the festival club receives support from the private school committee thanks to Mitsuo's efforts. Meanwhile, Banri was able to reconcile with Mitsuo. During the Awa dance performance, Banri narrates how moments and feelings are born and later die.
