#1 - The Fan Club
Knots Landing - Season 11 - Episode 28
Paige asks Mac to help Tom find out who is setting him up. Mac refuses, so she asks Greg to say he gave Tom the money, but he won't. Linda tells Michael that Eric hit and abused her. He feels bad for her, and they go out. Wayne is arrested for stalking Karen, but he denies it. While he's in jail, someone puts a cow's heart in a box with a note that says "you have a black heart". The doctor tells Frank that Pat is brain dead, and it's time to pull the plug. Danny finds out and goes to Frank's, saying if he pulls the plug, then Frank has killed Pat, not him. Julie didn't know about this and screams she's going to get a lawyer. Frank punches Danny, and Mac comes over to break it up. Frank has a talk with Julie. The next day, Danny comes home and Julie points Danny's rifle at him, saying that he is going to die before Pat does.

Knots Landing - Season 12 - Episode 6
Nick suspects Anne of the blackmailing, and says that he is going to stay with her and go wherever she goes. Anne's upset that Marco only sent $20,000 for the blackmailer. Paige is angry that everyone at the office thinks she got the promotion for sleeping with Greg. She asks Greg why he treats her like dirt. He asks Paige to marry him, but she walks out. Greg is really starting to get sick. Karen goes back to work. Diane says Karen is an egomaniac, and that she got a new job and can't wait to leave. Police find a button by the pool where Danny was killed. Ginny decides to leave. Gary tells Val that his dreams have all come true and that he can't wait to marry her. They go on a family picnic, and the twins run to Gary yelling that something has happened to Val.

Knots Landing - Season 11 - Episode 26
Linda tries to make Michael jealous. Detective tells Greg that Tom used to be dirty but there is no real proof. Tom gets a new partner, Sandra, who accuses him of stealing $100,000 from a drug bust. Tom insists he didn't take the money. Anne steals Paige's drivers license and puts her photo on it. She opens a bank account as Paige. The twins take video's at the ranch. While watching them, Gary notices Danny in the background of a shot. Karen receives strange letters from a fan who signs his letters "my love always". He sends her a scarf to wear on the air, but she doesn't. A light on the set almost hits Karen. When she arrives home, she finds a photo of herself cut into pieces, with "I hate you" written on it.

Knots Landing - Season 12 - Episode 18
Mac is out of jail, and Jason's returned to his father, who promises to be nice but continues to be as abusive as ever. Jason leaves and his dad follows. Nick tells Anne he was traveling with a rich woman named Betty, and she was supposed to pick something up from her relatives. Anne pretends to be Betty, and the relatives give her a doll. Kate learns Steve is her brother. Linda blows off Michael to flirt with Greg. Val overhears Gary trying to have her committed, and leaves.

Knots Landing - Season 12 - Episode 13
Paige dreams she meets herself as an older woman, and is miserable because she married Greg. Greg moves his sickbed to the office. He tells Paige he had a vasectomy and wants her to sign a pre-nuptial agreement, so she calls off the wedding. Mac discovers Jason was sent home because he refused to testify against his dad. Mac and Frank go to a poetry reading at Julie's school. Jason is there, and he's sad his father didn't show up, but he's glad to see Mac. Later Jason shows up at the MacKenzie's. Anne decides to set her sites on Gary. Val goes to see the doctor, but thinks Gary paid him to say she has temporary brain damage in a plot to get the twins. Val replaces her pills with aspirin. She moves to the ranch since Gary won't let her take the twins. She gets in bed with Gary and starts to kiss him. He doesn't think it's a good idea and she goes off on him.

Knots Landing - Season 10 - Episode 26
Abby calls the Secretary of State and tells him Greg's publicist owns Morikame and tried to drill for oil on protected land. Abby then tells Greg, who tells her to fire Ted or it will cost him the appointment.Ted tells Mac that Paige was fired and is Greg's mistress. Paige tells Carlos she needs to talk to Greg so he hides her in the kitchen. Paige tells Greg that Abby owns Morikame and Ted killed Nagata and Rick Hawkins, but he doesn't believe her. Then Mac rushes in and punches Greg. Mort finds Rick's letter in the garbage and brings it to her. It contains a key. Ted finds out that Abby knew she couldn't get the oil permits, and tricked him. To get even with her, he tells Karen that Abby owns Morikame. Abby throws Olivia an 18th birthday party, and is stunned when Olivia announces that she and Harold were married that morning. Karen rushes up to Abby and says she is going to have her arrested for fraud, because she owns Morikame. Greg realizes that it's true.

Knots Landing - Season 11 - Episode 2
Gary has no luck finding Sally's friend. Val tells Karen she's falling in love with Danny, but doesn't take him seriously when he proposes. Paige, Greg and Ted are in Spring Lake. Paige finds the post office box, and takes the envelope which contains Abby's original Morikame documents and negatives of Ted with Nagata. Ted hot wires a truck and follows her. Paige gets a flat tire, so she pulls into a garage to have it fixed. She hides the documents in the towel holder and jumps out the window as Ted breaks in. Greg is there too, so Paige throws the empty envelope at Ted. He takes off in the truck. Paige retrieves the real papers after Greg leaves. They stop in the road where tow trucks are pulling Ted's truck out of a lake. They think Ted drowned, but he hasn't. He flags down a car to drive him back to town.

Knots Landing - Season 10 - Episode 9
Harold and Olivia discuss marriage. Mack, feeling old, takes a leave of absence. He drives Karen crazy, and she suggests he go camping in the mountains. Anne tells Paige that her grandfather cut Paige out of the will and she's cutting her off too. Paige says she doesn't care, because Greg loves her. Anne replies, "Yeah, and I'm the Queen of England!" Greg tells Abby their marriage will be a political one, since they can go twice as far together. He says they can appreciate each other's devious, conniving brains like no one else. Abby agrees to marry him. Greg gets home, and Paige is asleep in his bed. He watches her for awhile and then leaves.

Knots Landing - Season 13 - Episode 18
Paige has been shot and is rushed to the hospital. The bullet is removed, but her spine is swollen and she might be paralyzed. Mac tells Karen to go home, and he and Anne go to a diner across the street. Anne feels bad about being a bad mother. Claudia finds Pierce at her house. Pierce wants her to tell Paige that he didn't mean to shoot her and he loves her. Claudia plays along and he leaves. Anne is jealous as she watches Greg sit with Paige and stroke her face and hair. Anne tells him that their relationship is over. Vanessa fills in for Anne at the station. Alex brings Vanessa to Greg's office, and they have sex on his desk. Paige wakes up, but has no feelings in her legs and can't move her toes.

Knots Landing - Season 12 - Episode 24
Anne proposes a charity for Claudia's group to fund - but it's really to fund her and Nick. Claudia knows, and tries to delay. Michael decides to quit Sumner Group. There's a fire in the Sumner Building, and all the exits are sealed off. Most of the people for Val and Gary's rehearsal dinner are stuck there until it's evacuated. Greg and Linda use the time "constructively", and he invites her to move in with him at the ranch. Steve apologizes to Paige and kisses her. Babysitting all the kids, Julie and Jason kiss. Waiting outside of the Sumner Building, Val and Gary decide their rehearsal dinners are jinxed. They have a very tender moment, and Gary even cries. They decide to marry that night. They go to a judge and giggle throughout the ceremony.

Knots Landing - Season 11 - Episode 6
Danny cries to Amanda that he loves her and doesn't want a divorce. Later he makes up with Val. Karen's friend asks her to sub for her on the TV show "Open Mike". Karen's surprised to find that Greg is the guest. Paula comes down to support Karen, and they make up. Paula and Greg argue and verbally spar, and decide to have lunch. Ginny was at Jeri's when she was killed. Mac and Frank don't think it was a suicide and find out Mark Baylor was in her building at the time. Mac thinks Mark killed Jeri. The coroner says she died from a blow to her head before the fall. Ginny is arrested for the murder.

Knots Landing - Season 12 - Episode 4
Karen is overjoyed to find that Jeff is alive, until he locks her in the station and tries to kill her. He says Wayne was killed in his apartment, and he sent her all the letters. Dianne is there and calls the police. Jeff lies to the police, but Dianne taped the whole thing. Gary calls a frantic Val, and says the airbag saved him, but he kept passing out from the booze. He later talks to Karen, and Karen gives her famous "Pollyanna" speech. Paige makes up with Tom and moves in with him. Anne receives compromising photos of herself and a note demanding a million dollars. Danny is found dead and police say his fingers were broken, so they'll have to investigate. The coroner tells Val she's responsible for Danny's body and she's being charged rent until she has his body moved.

Knots Landing - Season 14 - Episode 13
Back from Florida, Gary tells Karen that Mary was really Laura's aunt, and Laura's mother died in childbirth. The police drop the charges against Mac, and they let Joe go. Joe meets with Nick, who tells him he wasn't supposed to have murdered Mary. Then Joe is found dead. Nick tells Vanessa he doesn't want Treadwell coming to town. Nick has Claudia open a bank account for "Edward Messinger" and gives her a briefcase of money. Paige asks Mac for his shares of Sumner group, but he says he doesn't care. Kate comes on to Gary again. He says he's not ready and she's pushing him. Mac hires Toni to work with him and says Frank moved to Chicago. Karen is upset that Mac didn't tell her about Florida or hiring Toni. He says talking to her is an inquisition. She decides to leave him and stay with Diana in New York.

Knots Landing - Season 10 - Episode 4
The drugs at Lotus Point hit the media, and guests check out. Harold decides to go straight. Ted tells Greg to throw an environmental fundraiser. A man, Tyler Watson, follows the William's around, taping Julie at a spelling bee, and opening an account at Pat's bank. Val is relieved that Frank and Pat believe her. Frank has Pat pull up Jill's bank account, and they see she took out $800 a few days before her trip. Gary comes by and Val tells him not to visit her, because Jill will not leave her alone as long as he's in her life. Greg hears a noise and goes outside. Paige is swimming nude in his pool. She climbs out right in front of Greg.

Knots Landing - Season 12 - Episode 2
Jeff is presumed dead. Ann's livid that Paige's trust fund didn't go to her account, and she returns Paige's wedding gifts for money. Greg asks Paige to go away on a cruise for him. Claudia asks Greg's doctor if a six-month cruise is safe for him and the doctor says he doubts Greg will live that long. Tom comes back and confronts Greg with a gun to have his charges dropped, and tells Paige that Greg set him up. Paige is still mad. She goes to meet Greg for the cruise and asks if he's really dying, because she won't believe her good fortune until he is dead and buried. Kate gets a scholarship she was hoping for, but Claudia lies and says she didn't get it. Danny lets out all the horses at Gary's ranch. When Gary comes to the stable, Danny closes the door behind him and takes out a bat.

Knots Landing - Season 12 - Episode 10
Jason's father beats him. Anne and Nick take the suitcases to a luggage store and call in a bomb threat. Tom, one of the investigators, notices the suitcase is Anne's. He takes it, and with the money buys a one way ticket to Brussels. Anne and Nick go to Tom's apartment, but discover he's gone. Linda sucks up to Alex, who works for Calloway. Alex tells Calloway that Sumner Group is ripe for a takeover. Val tells Karen that Gary is messy and smells like a barn. The help tells Gary that Val left and said she'll be back when "hell freezes over". Kate tells the hospital that Paige is her cousin so she can see Greg. Greg is very happy to see her. Claudia finds out that a liver is going to another patient. Since she's not yet in Greg's will, Claudia tells them if Greg lives, he will donate money for a new wing, so they decide to give the liver to Greg.

Knots Landing - Season 14 - Episode 1
Pierce pulls a knife on Paige. She jumps out of the car. Alex is there, and punches Pierce out. Pierce is arrested screaming that he loves Paige. Mary returns Meg and tells McKenzie's she's Laura's mother. Mary gets a lawyer, Toni Fields, to win visitation rights, but she really wants money. Claudia kicks Alex out. Greg is at a remote cabin, but Anne finds him and tells him she's pregnant. He doesn't want her to keep the baby, and wants her to leave. She won't, so he goes off hiking and Anne follows. Gary is worried when Val doesn't return from Florida, but has checked out of her hotel.

Knots Landing - Season 4 - Episode 4
Karen goes through the KLMotors books and finds checks to West Century Auto, Frank and Roy's company. Karen invests money in Richard's restaurant, because Laura is concerned that Richard is spending too much money. Karen is being followed. Kenny's boss won't let him make a demo with Ciji, so Kenny and Gary decide to make a demo with her on their own. Val's publicist, Bess Riker sends a messenger, Chip Roberts to drop off photos at Val's. He charms Val and Lilimae, and tells him he's a publicist. Back at the office, Bess tells Chip that if he thinks he's so hot he can be Val's publicist. Val appears on The Mike Douglas Show.
#19 - The Blushing Bride
Knots Landing - Season 9 - Episode 18
Paige continues to be jealous of Greg's interest in other women and sleeps with Johnny. The MacKenzies are suspicious of the Williams' and speculate that Frank and Pat don't have custody of Julie. They see a woman come and pick Pat up in the middle of the night. Karen and Mack tell the truth in their depositions, and convince Val to tell the truth, that Gary wants visitation, not custody. Charles suggests to Abby she expands the marina at Lotus Point. He loans her the money, not telling her he is the front for investors. Charles gives her plans he had drawn up, but Abby finds they were made before he came back into her life. She hires a detective to investigate him. Charles' divorce is final, so Abby wants to get married ASAP.

Knots Landing - Season 6 - Episode 14
Karen's surgery goes well. Galveston tells Greg to tell Mac to stop investigating the Tidal Basin murders, but instead Greg tells Mac to look for a connection between them and Galveston Industries. Detective tells Abby that Val has become Verna Ellers from her book "Nashville Junction", and that she seems happy. He says he'll do a fake report, in exchange for sex with Abby. He tells Gary he has no leads and is dropping the case. Galveston has his men bring him Abby's detective. Galveston threatens him, so the detective tells him where Val is. Then another man brings him all of Scott Easton's papers. Abby waits for the detective, but instead Galveston shows up and tells her that he knows where Val is and about the babies and unless she comes up with a damn good explanation, he's going to tell Gary.
#21 - I, Claudia
Knots Landing - Season 13 - Episode 4
Karen's station insist she have Anne on as a guest. Anne admits on the show to being homeless. Karen tells Val she's lost interest in the show. Karen's producer Debbie asks Frank out, but he feels really old compared to her. Police tell Greg of Linda's murder. Val tries to teach Lynette to read, and they both become frusterated. Paige organizes the Tidal Energy office. They all go out for dinner, and are told that Greg has picked up the check. Kate tells Claudia off, and Claudia's really upset. Karen comforts her and invites her to dinner. When Claudia doesn't show, she and Mac go to Claudia's and find her passed out on the floor with an empty bottle of pills beside her.
#22 - Bouncing Babies
Knots Landing - Season 9 - Episode 20
Paige tells Johnny that he's just for sex, and she won't go out with him. Abby loans Lotus Point the $2 million to build the marina. Olivia's really upset that Abby called off the wedding, and yells at her for stealing husbands and not keeping a man or giving her a normal life. The MacKenzies are very upset and miss Meg terribly when Greg brings her home. Greg builds a playhouse for Meg, but realizes how tough it will be to raise her. Upset, he brings Meg back to the MacKenzies and asks them to be Meg's parents. He wants them to tell Meg about Laura, but says he will stay out of their life. Seeing how upset Mack and Karen are without Meg, Val has a change of heart. She signs the paper saying Gary is the twins' father. She gives it to him and says she knows he loves them, and would want him to raise them if anything ever happened to her. He says she's a good mother and rips the paper up. They hug.

Knots Landing - Season 8 - Episode 16
Mr. Winston flies into town and confirms that Paige really is his granddaughter. Paige is upset to see him. Karen convinces Mac he needs to fly to New York and tell Anne that Paige is alive. Paige cooks a romantic dinner for Peter.Jill admits to Gary that Peter is her brother. Gary thinks she means she is Galveston's daughter. Gary asks Jill to marry him. Abby demands Olivia give her all of her drug paraphernalia, but Olivia gives her baking soda. Gary invites her to AA, but Olivia refuses. Gary tells Abby they'll have to wait until she hits bottom. Abby finds out that Olivia has drained her and Brian's bank account, has been skipping school, is failing all of her classes, and didn't pay her tuition. Out of money, Olivia decides to sell drugs, and her dealer hits her when she uses them instead. Abby takes Olivia's house and car keys and puts her under house arrest.

Knots Landing - Season 14 - Episode 4
In Florida, Gary discovers Val has been kidnapped. He chases Val and the kidnappers in his car. The car that Val is in crashes and blows up. Anne plans her wedding with Greg. She wants a big wedding, but she tells him to keep it small. Greg wants his commission to sponsor a sports complex for inner-city youth, and wants Sumner Group to build the complex. The Judge gives Mary visiting rights to Meg.
#25 - Cricket
Knots Landing - Season 3 - Episode 14
Karen's brother, Joe Cooper gets a job as a visiting professor at USC and moves in with them. Rusty, an old boyfriend of Val's comes to town and abandons his daughter Cricket at the Ewings. Upset at being abandoned, Cricket lies, steals and accidentally hurts Olivia. Val reluctantly takes Cricket to a shelter, but reconsiders and brings her back home. Gary finally locates Rusty, and Val confronts him, and he decides to come back for Cricket.
#26 - The People vs. Gary Ewing
Knots Landing - Season 5 - Episode 1
Karen is very upset that Diana's gone. Mack is sure that Chip killed Ciji, and they put out an APB for them. Val is dogged by reporters. A "mystery man" helps her escape them. Abby is mad that Mitch is still defending Gary. He tells Abby that she can't fire him, as Gary is his client. Gary's mad and says he can't trust Abby. On the stand, Janet admits that Gary was charged because of the way he worded his statement, and that there are other suspects. The judge drops Gary's charges and releases him. Ecstatic, Gary looks around for Val, catches her eye and smiles at her. Abby sees this and quickly hugs him, but Gary continues to smile at Val.
#27 - Sacred Vows
Knots Landing - Season 5 - Episode 7
Eric goes to the hospital and tells Diana that he's glad that Sid isn't around. He reminds Diana that Sid died in order to bring someone to justice, and would be disgusted with her. Diana tells the police that she will testify. Laura tells Gary that he is to Val as alcohol is to him, and that if he doesn't have plans to get back together with her, he needs to leave her alone, as stringing her along is cruel. Gary tells Abby he'll marry her, and they do. Dr. Bovine suggests that Lilimae be put in Lakevail Sanitarium. At Lakevail, Lilimae begs Val not to leave her there, and they both cry. At home, Val calls Gary for support. Olivia answers and tells Val that Gary and Abby are on their honeymoon. At the hotel, Gary orders room service. The waitress looks exactly like Ciji, and Gary is dumbfounded.
#28 - In Mourning
Knots Landing - Season 8 - Episode 22
Val and the kids are brought home in a catering van. Val is frantic about Ben. Mac hires bodyguards posing as construction workers to protect Val and instructs Val to say that Ben is on a business trip. Lilimae asks Karen if she knows what's going on as Ben had her close her bank account, they drove around in a stolen car, then in a Catering van all night, and now there are 2 carpenters at the house who aren't doing anything. Karen asks both Mac and Val what is going on, but neither will tell her anything. Greg's death is in the paper. Abby rushes to Peter's and says he'd better be prepared to take over Galveston Industries and pressures him to make a public statement. Gary and Jill had planned to marry in Las Vegas, but he postpones it. Val goes to the ranch to comfort Laura, then Greg walks in, and Val suddenly wonders if Ben is dead.
#29 - A Death in the Family
Knots Landing - Season 14 - Episode 8
Vanessa tells Anne she wants $2000 a week to keep her secret. Anne's upset that Greg spends all his time on the committee, and not with her. She learns Greg had Bill sent to Japan. Anne falls off a horse and tells Greg she lost they baby. Nick gives Claudia a necklace. Karen's upset that Mac tried to set Mary up. Mac's upset Gary didn't get it on tape. Mary gives her brother Joe some money, but says she's going to see Meg until they give her the rest of the million. Mac's upset, because he thought Mary was out of their life. He yells at her and her neighbor comes to see if she's okay. Karen decides to talk to Mary. She goes to her apartment and finds it trashed, and Mary is dead on the floor.
#30 - The Getaway
Knots Landing - Season 14 - Episode 11
Greg tells Claudia to return her half of the money or he'll make her disappear. Nick gives her the money, but won't tell her how he got it. Nick kisses Anne, but she doesn't want to mess things up with Greg. Gary hires Kate to work on the sports complex. She convinces a couple who are holding up construction to move, but they later change their mind. Kate kisses Gary, but he pushes her away. Out on bail, Mac investigates who killed Mary. Toni decides to help Mac. Gary gets a report that Joe kidnapped Val, so he decides to go back to Florida and asks Kate to watch the twins. Mac wants to go to, but Karen says he would be jumping bail. Mac sneaks out in the middle of the night and leaves Karen a note.
#31 - Pictures at a Wedding
Knots Landing - Season 7 - Episode 8
Gary is sure the twins are his. Joshua tries to break into Cathy's apartment, and then trashes Val's house. Val kicks him out and Lilimae is upset. At the station Joshua finds out that Ben gave his show to Cathy, and he and Ben fight. Cathy tells Ben that Josh is upset because Lilimae is dying. Ben talks with her Doctor, who says Lilimae only has bursitis. Cathy is upset that Joshua would lie to her like that. Greg thinks Peter is snooping too much, but Peter says Greg is sloppy with information. Equipment convoys for the underground communication center are coming to Empire Valley on Monday, so Abby asks Gary to go away with her to get him out of town.Val and Ben ask the McKenzies to stand up for them at their wedding, and to go along with them that Ben is the twin's father. On the day of the wedding, Val and Lilimae make up. Gary decides to drop Olivia off before going out of town and stops to talk to Val. Ben sees this and isn't happy.
#32 - Web of Lies
Knots Landing - Season 7 - Episode 15
When Abby hears that Karen is being considered for the planning commission, she tells Greg that she wants the seat. Abby tries to talk to Gary, but he says it's over, and he invites Jill for a drink. Ben is angry that Gary knows about the twins, but Val swears she didn't tell him. Greg sends Laura a note that says "I Love You Very Much" and takes her out for a romantic evening. Laura asks Mac how she can get divorced, since she can't find Richard. Cathy still wants to tell the truth, and is depressed over the situation. Ben tries to cheer her up. Cathy finally tells Mac the truth, and Mac tells Val to talk to Lilimae. Val tries, but Lilimae says it would tarnish Joshua's memory. Finally Val gets through to her by saying that Kenny has a mother too. Lilimae goes to the police station.
#33 - Nowhere to Run
Knots Landing - Season 5 - Episode 3
Abby and Gary move to the ranch. Abby gets an office in town - complete with apartment. She and Westmont secretly start a subsidiary of Gary's company. Gary offers Laura a position as his real estate investor, and asks her to keep an eye on Abby. Police find that Diana used her credit card in Oklahoma, so Karen and Mac fly there. Diana assures Chip she loves him. After being spotted by a state trooper, they take off down a dirt road. They find an abandoned shack. The next morning, Chip and Diana find they are surrounded by police, and Chip pretends to hold Diana hostage. A policeman shoots, which causes confusion, and Chip is arrested. Karen tries to hug Diana, but Diana pushes her away, and runs to police car and tells Chip she loves him. A reporter asks Diana a question, and she replies "It's not Miss Fairgate. It's Mrs. Tony Fenice."
#34 - I'll Tell You No Lies
Knots Landing - Season 5 - Episode 11
Mac questions Tom about whether a lawyer named Cavanaugh is the head of the Wolfbridge group. Mac wants Tom to go back to them as an 'inside' man. Gary asks Cathy to sing for him. She gets upset and tells him she's not Ciji, and never will be. Greg gives Abby the coastal variance she needs. They begin kissing, and then notice that Laura is watching them. Val is worried because Karen is acting so strange. Karen tells her she's tired, and continues to take more pills. Detective Nick Morrison posts a policeman on the ranch. Chip tells Diana they need to leave the next day. Diana goes to meet Chip. Chip is hiding in the stable. Cathy walks in. Chip is dumbfounded, thinking she's Ciji. Frightened, he scrambles to get away from her, and falls on a pitchfork. Police and Diana run to the stable when they hear Cathy screaming. Chip's dead.

Knots Landing - Season 4 - Episode 1
Karen hears that the case against Frank and Roy has been dropped due to a technicality. Furious, she barges into the Federal Prosecutor's office, who happens to be Marion Patrick McKenzie. 'Mac' gives Karen info on the case, and kisses her. Karen fires Gary, and hires Wayne, unaware that he has a scrapbook about Sid's death. Val has been living at a motel, but decides to stay with Rusty and Cricket on their ranch. Gary, now living with Abby, goes there to try to win Val back. Rusty beats him up. Abby's furious that Gary went to see Val. Val returns home and kicks Gary out. Gary goes back to Abby. Abby has been sending JR every other chapter of Val's book.

Knots Landing - Season 5 - Episode 13
Jane Sumner comes to town, so Greg can't pay attention to Abby. Mac asks Greg to help him find Tom Jessick. A man tells Greg to get rid of Mac or they'll drop his campaign. Cathy goes to Abby and says she wants out of their deal for her to impersonate Ciji, because she doesn't want to hurt Gary, but Abby won't let her. Val and Mac are concerned about Karen. Val finishes her book "Nashville Junction" about Lilimae's life. Ben asks Val for more of a commitment. Then Val finds out she is 3 months pregnant with Gary's baby.

Knots Landing - Season 3 - Episode 16
Abby tells Gary they need $20,000 to keep their Methanol business going. Abby meets an engineer named Larry, but casts him aside when she meets Andrew Douglas, a famous silent-movie director. Larry, meanwhile, becomes more interested in Karen, and Abby is jealous. Abby uses Andrew, who says she reminds him of his deceased wife, Terry Clarington. Andrew is rich, and somewhat senile, and at times thinks Abby is Terry. He tells Abby that he will put her in his will. However, when he dies, he has left the money to Terry Clarington, so Abby gets nothing. She's also lost Larry to Karen, which further upsets her.

Knots Landing - Season 9 - Episode 3
Al Baker starts to hang around Mac's office, and Peggy suspects he's homeless. Mac agrees to let Al sleep in his office. Peggy comes by with dinner, and finds the office filled with homeless people. Paige has nightmares, and Mac thinks it's odd that Paige left Peter several friendly messages when he knew she was mad at him. Olivia's scared to talk to Mac and Detective Garcia, and runs to Val's instead of meeting with them. Gary wants to get an attorney, but Abby says that will just make her look guilty. Detective finally questions Olivia, and takes out the locket. Olivia says she had given it back to Peter. Detective. Garcia pats her on the shoulder, but is really taking fibers from her school uniform. The fibers match fibers found on Peter's body, and police go back and accuse Olivia of the murder. Abby says she killed Peter.

Knots Landing - Season 9 - Episode 5
Lilimae is worried that Val isn't getting over Ben, and tells her she should try smile therapy. Al lives in his station wagon, and brings it to the MacKenzies to show Mack. Lilimae is very rude to Al, so he tells her to try smile therapy. Val buys a sportscar. She tells Gary he is the father of the twins. Jill tells Gary that she is sick of his ex-wives, step-children and secret children, and moves out. Later they make up, and she moves back in. Paige admits to Mack that Peter fell on a spindle when they argued. Since it was an accident, the police don't press charges, but Mack says she needs to apologize to people she hurt. Paige apologizes to Greg, who says she's lucky that Mack is her father because he'd hang a snot like her out to dry. Paige tells Abby she's sorry Abby is off the hook, and Abby says that she is going to get Paige for this. Laura quits Lotus Point, and tells Greg in a round-about way that she is dying.

Knots Landing - Season 8 - Episode 14
Ben gives Abby his resignation. Greg tells him his job is to keep Peter's nose clean. Peter tells Ben that he is not Greg's puppet. Jean's lover asks her what Ben will do if he finds that she is no longer with the CIA. Michael is jealous when he sees Paige fawning over Peter at the Lotus Point Christmas Party and at the mall. He blames Karen. Abby shows up at Peter's nude under a Fur Coat. Karen leaves a message for Paige's grandparents, the Winstons. When Karen tells Paige, she flips out and says her grandparents hate her because they hated Mac. Mr. Winston calls Karen and says that she's sick, because Paige is dead. Laura tells Greg she is pregnant, and he's not happy. Olivia buys some drugs, and then Abby and Gary give her a sports car for Christmas. Olivia takes Lilimae for a ride, and they get into an accident.

Knots Landing - Season 6 - Episode 12
Galveston asks Gary to go in with him on a planned community in Empire Valley. Galveston tells some men that he's using Gary because he's stupid and won't know what's going on, but he will be help in getting the community built. Gary asks Greg to go in on Empire Valley, but Greg wants no part of it. While driving with Michael, Karen's hands go out again and they almost crash. Mac insists she see a doctor. Karen finally tells Mac what is going on and he says he won't let her die. Joshua gets a lot of fan mail after being on TV, so Abby asks him to make another plea to Val. Kelly asks Ben to give her a chance, but he says he can't. In Shula, Val rents a room and hears a report on the radio about her disappearance, but doesn't respond to it in any way. She meets Parker Winslow, the local dry cleaner, who asks her out to a pancake breakfast.

Knots Landing - Season 6 - Episode 19
Joshua apologizes to Cathy and say's he's making a lot of mistakes as he's never had a girlfriend before but he's unhappy without her. Galveston's men contact Greg and want to transfer power to him, but he refuses. Meanwhile, Gary's frustrated he can't get in to see Galveston and is told he's away on business. Abby finds Scott Easton's notebook, but the pertinent pages about Val's babies are ripped out. Val starts therapy with Dr. Michael's, but misses a lot of sessions and Karen tries to convince her to go. She hears Lilimae and Ben talking about having her committed, so she yells at Lilimae for abandoning her and calls her a tramp. She hears Lilimae crying, but is unconcerned. Finally Val opens up to her Dr., and then feels bad about attacking Lilimae. Ben gives Val a ride home, and she suddenly remembers his beach house and orchids. He is overjoyed.

Knots Landing - Season 7 - Episode 2
At the studio, Cathy tells Joshua she's getting an apartment - with or without him. Joshua grabs her really hard and says to NEVER speak to him in public like that. Gary goes to Dallas for Bobby's funeral. Greg tells the Empire Valley foremen, Elliot, to blast for the TV station in another position, but he won't without Gary's okay. Val waits outside of the Fishers' house. Ben tells Harry that the twins might not be Val's, but either way they need to clear it up. Nurse Wilson finally shows up at the Judge's, and Mac gets a court order barring the Fishers from leaving. Sheila is really losing it, so Harry agrees to run away with her. Karen drives by the Fishers' house. She sees Sheila leaving, and Mac's men follow her. Karen sees Harry's inside, so she tells him she knows that Sheila doesn't really have the babies with her. Knots Landing - Season 7 - Episode 24
Abby doesn't want a divorce, and tells Gary that if he doesn't give her the rest of Empire Valley, she will drag out their divorce, and involve Val and the twins. Gary gives it to her. Abby tricks Sylvia into telling her that Peter is not really her son. Abby has Peter escort her to a fundraiser. Gary is there with Jill, so Abby says if Peter doesn't distract her, she will stop paying his attorney. Peter says he'll tell about the twins. Then Greg threatens Abby with the twins. Abby, tired of everyone holding this over her declares in front of everyone that she knew about the twins. She knew the twins were alive all along, but didn't want to say anything until she had proof, and as soon as she got it, she was the one who brought Val to the babies. Then Ben steps in and tells everyone it's none of their business. Cathy tells Ben she's been offered a tour. Abby brings Olivia home. Eric gets sick and is taken to Intensive Care.

Knots Landing - Season 5 - Episode 9
Mac visits Tom Jessick, an attorney friend that he sent to jail and says he wants him on the crime commission. Greg's at the McKenzie's and his daughter Mary Francis comes by, angry that he forgot to pick her up. Karen invites Mary Francis to stay with them. Police patrol the ranch for Chip. Cathy tells Gary that she thought he might be someone her ex-husband Roy sent to find her. Gary invites Cathy to live and work at the ranch. Abby finds out she'll need a coastal variance to develop Lotus Point, and asks Greg for help. They sleep together, and he says that a member of the coastal commission will meet with her. Laura tells Abby she knows about H & O, but won't tell Gary for a piece of the action. Val makes a romantic meal for Ben. She gets mad and leaves when he assumes she will sleep with him. Later, she goes back, and she and Ben make love.

Knots Landing - Season 3 - Episode 12
Richard and Laura introduce Karen to a friend of theirs, Charles Linden, and she has her first date, but they don't get along. Kenny has Ginger make a demo tape for a song, and Andy Moore, another producer, encourages Ginger to pursue a singing career. Kenny's against this, and wants Ginger to stay home with the baby. When he finds out Ginger and Andy are working behind his back, he's not happy but Ginger decides to go ahead with it.

Knots Landing - Season 2 - Episode 5
Kristen Shepard (she shot J.R., you know) is in Los Angeles following the shooting of J.R. in Dallas. At a party, she is arrested for drug use and decides to call Gary and Valene for help. Valene rushes to the police station to get her released. Kristen manipulates Valene into letting her stay with them. Valene asks Kristen why she left Dallas. Kristen says she has her reasons. Kenny gives Kristen a job at his studio, which upsets Sylvie (are we jealous?). Kenny decided that it is time to end his relationship with Sylvie and concentrate on getting back with Ginger. But alas, Ginger is now going out with Carl Russelman. When Kenny finds this out, he sleeps with Kristen. Ginger comes back early for being with Carl and finds Kenny and Kristen together. Kristen then decided to leave Knots Landing (and good riddance) after Gary sees through her "sweet" act. Ginger serves Kenny with a divorce.

Knots Landing - Season 3 - Episode 2
Sid has a blood clot which will permanently paralyze him unless they operate, however, there's a 40% chance the operation could kill him. Karen doesn't want him to get the operation, but Sid insists and makes Karen sign his consent form. Sid tells his family how much he loves them, and after they leave he makes a private tape recording for Karen. The neighbors all keep vigil with the Fairgates during the operation, and Karen and Gary make up. In the operating room, something goes horribly wrong. The doctor finally comes out, and Karen can see by his face that Sid has died. Everyone is crying and in shock. Later, Karen listens to the tape Sid made for her, telling her how much he loves her.

Knots Landing - Season 1 - Episode 10
When Karen learns that she's pregnant, she isn't sure she wants the baby, while Sid can't understand her mixed feelings regarding the pregnancy. When medical complications develop, Karen decides she wants to have the baby, but she miscarries. Eric takes a liking to Ginger's 14-year-old sister who is visiting from Knots Landing. However, when he takes her out on a date, he finds her too sophisticated for him. Ginger tells Kenny she is ready for them to start a family.
