Inazuma Eleven - Season 4 - Episode 1

Everyone is gathered to be chosen, and Kuroiwa Ryuusei arrives and chooses the members. At the call of Matsukaze Tenma, Shindou Takuto and Tsurugi Kyousuke's name, Nishizono Shinsuke get's ready but then hears other names called; mainly people whom they didn't know; Ibuki Munemasa, Morimura Konoha,Minaho Kazuto, Manabe Jinichirou, Tetsukado Shin, Kusaka Ryuuji, Nozaki Sakura and Matatagi Hayato. An exhibition match starts to test Shinsei Inazuma Japan's strength against Teikoku. Everyone is then shocked, especially Tenma, Tsurugi and Shindou at the other members when they can't organize or play soccer properly and losing points. It ends up with 10 goals for Teikoku, leaving Shindou frustrated but Tenma rises up the moral and Shindou uses Kami no Takuto FI yet again and Tenma passes through with Kazaana Drive. And nearing the goal, both Tsurugi and Tenma use Fire Tornado DD scoring a goal, but the match ends and they lost. Everyone in frustrated, especially Shinsuke who wishes to have been chosen, and Shindou crying. Kuroiwa leaves, leaving no comment about the match, and at the end has a call with Endou.

After noticing that, Konoha delivered him some words of encouragement. Kusaka then finally unleashed his Soul, named Grizzly! However, after using Tentacle Hold, Banda Koloogyu suddenly perished and his life ended. While Kusaka kneeled beside his corpse, Banda's spirit talked with Kusaka before finally passing away. Kusaka then started to cry, scoring the winning goal for Earth Eleven and concluded the match. After the match ended, the entirety of Earth Eleven went to Banda's burial place, placing a flower on top of his grave and said their final goodbyes. Later, Tenma was led to the last fragment of hope by Katra Paige.

Despite Edgar's strongest Excalibur, Endou saves the goal thanks to Kabeyama's great efforts. But because of that, he suffers a lot of damage, and is taken out. Someoka goes in to replace him, and scores with his new technique. Then, Knights of Queen decides to use their second Hissatsu tactics, Invincible Lance, protecting Edgar and the ball while making it impossible to approach him. Edgar scores again with another of his technique, and England is in the lead once more. During half time, Endou meets the red cap man again, and he says something that might be an idea for Endou's new technique. But first, Japan must find a way to take down Invincible Lance if they don't want to lose more goals.

Meanwhile, Guyot decides to intervene personally to fulfill his plan, not knowing that dr. Balcus spies him thanks to Aptom.
