Marty's aunt Clara has spent five years perfecting a ""system"" that guarantees a win at roulette. She hires Jeff and Jean to escort her to Monte Carlo as ""bodyguards"". They have plenty of work to do: three different groups of people seem to be after Aunt Clara and her ""system"".

The Bill Season 5 - Episode 19
Dashwood is moaning because Greig is playing his clarinet in the office. Roach is having a drink with a married woman and after she leaves, he recognises a man whose car has broken down as the ex-commander of the murder squad who roach is convinced convicted the wrong man. Meanwhile back at the station Dashwood discovers that Roach is due in court in the morning and approx 40 witnesses need to be warned.

Paul Kirstner, a long-time underworld figure, arrives in London from America with a good deal of baggage in tow, including the ghost of his one-time partner, Bugsy Spanio. Kirstner, responsible for Bugsy's death 35 years earlier, hires Jeff to look after his daughter. Bugsy, meanwhile, tries to force Marty into getting Jeff to kill Kirstner in retaliation for what Kirstner did to Bugsy.
#12 - Could You Recognise the Man Again?
Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) (1969) Season 1 - Episode 18
Jeff and Jean see a man leave their car after a party. The man left a body in the back seat. The case is open-and-shut, with both Jeff and Jean identifying the man in a police line-up, but the day before they are to testify Jean is kidnapped by the man's mother. Marty tries to find her, but every time he concentrates on Jean's location he ends up at their apartment.
#13 - The Smile Behind the Veil

Marty sees a funeral near his grave. Based on what he overhears he's certain that his ""new neighbor"" suffered the same fate he did: a murder made to look like an accident. Jeff has an appointment with a prospective client and is unwilling to do something for Marty for free, so Marty must trick him into looking into the death.

Jeff and Jean are hired to be escorts for various contestants in the Miss World beauty competition. Jeff draws the assignment of escorting Miss London, who is working with a man to steal some documents from the Hall of Records that will prove he is the rightful heir to the throne.

When things start flying around her apartment, Jean comes to the conclusion that her late husband Marty is trying to contact her. She has fallen for the trap set by the Foster brothers, who claim to be ""scientific spiritualists"" and approach Jean with a job offer: she will have introduce them to people who are interested in contacting ""the other side"". What she doesn't know is their ""scientific approach"" involves murder.
#18 - Duty Elsewhere
The Bill Season 5 - Episode 9
P.C. Haynes volunteers for ""duty elsewhere"", undercover as a driver for Neville Tubbs, leader of a Yardie gang in South London. A man has just been murdered and mutilated, and Rita, a girl from Tubbs' club tells Haynes she witnessed the killing. Gaining Tubbs' trust, Haynes is asked to transport a package to a meeting across town. He is stopped by two police officers, but manages to get away after telling them he's in the Job. Haynes delivers the package, but is recognised as a cop by a Brixton Yardie. The police raid the place before Haynes is hurt or killed, but he is horrified to discover the package he carried contains the murder victim's hands.
#19 - Saturday Blues
The Bill Season 5 - Episode 10
A young woman is taken to hospital in a coma after a drug overdose - she is D.I. Burnside's god-daughter, Tracey. Burnside orders Tracey's boyfriend, nightclub manager Terry Palmer, brought in for questioning. Drugs are found in Palmer's flat but he denies giving them to Tracey. D.S. Roach tries to convince Burnside that he's too emotionally involved in the case. Tracey dies and it looks like she committed suicide. Burnside charges Palmer with possession and intent to supply. A wedding party is brought into the station after the bride assaults the bridesmaid for having sex with her husband. In addition to the assault charge, it appears some of the wedding presents are stolen goods.

Marty, in a particularly good mood, materializes on Jeff's desk one Monday morning. Jeff, however, fails to respond to Marty's voice. He doesn't even look at Marty. What's worse, he acts as though he couldn't care less about the sudden disappearance of his ghostly partner. Jeff seems to have two things on his mind: his new case involving the leaking of stock market information at the Towler Corporation, and Jean's figure. Marty becomes more alarmed when he witnesses Jeff kill a Towler Corporation executive.

Victor considers closing the Weatherfield branch, he blamed Derek for not making enough profit. Derek swears to bring in new custom. Gail rows with Sally about Kevin inciting Martin to drink, but when it comes to making amends, Sally refuses. Kevin and Martin get Sally and Gail together. They make up but Kevin is annoyed when Sally calls him bossy. Jackie breaks down and accuses Mike of only sleeping with her to gain control of the factory. Jackie plans to offer Mike money to leave the factory. Mike and Jackie declare their love for each other. Mike tells her he'll sort Alma out before Christmas. Curly is horrified that the Taylor's have written to his parents thanking them for having Kimberley for Christmas and Alec forces Jack to work Liz's Christmas shift.

Mavis worries that Victor wants to sack Derek as he thinks he doesn't like Yvonne. Victor tells Mavis that Derek won't be able to save the Weatherfield branch. Mike doesn't know hot to tell Alma it's over. She plans Christmas in Wales as a surprise for Mike. Mike tells Alma there won't be a Christmas. She realises he loves Jackie and breaks down. Kevin and Martin worry about the births and Alf is made President of the Weatherfield Association of Retail Traders and Stockholders.

Ivy is happy when Don goes to confession. Vera phones Doreen and is affronted when she puts the phone down on her. Jim and Liz agree that they enjoyed their night together but need to take things one step at a time. Jack fears that Vera will upset the Hortons and they'll never see Tommy again so Bet lets him take the day off and see them. Ivy is thrilled to entertain the Platts with a genuine family atmosphere. Jack feels defeated when the Hortons refuse to let him see Tommy again. They suggest he asks Terry. Don assures Ivy he wants to make her happy but avoids physical contact. Jack tells Vera they're going to have to fight for Tommy.

Don writes Denise a letter. She rips it up. Alf struggles with the shop and gout. He tells Ivy of rumours he’s heard of redundancy at Bettabuy. Des offers Jack his help in demanding access to Tommy. Ivy leads a delegation into Curly’s office demanding to know the truth of the redundancy rumours but he convinces them that they are unsubstantiated. Bet is sad when Vicky goes to Southampton to get away from Steve. Don ventures out of the house when Ivy convinces him no one knows he was the caller. Curly is stunned when Reg tells him the redundancy rumours are true. Don knocks on the salon door and tries to apologise to Denise but she threatens him with the police if he doesn’t leave. She breaks down, fearing he was going to harm her. Richard Willmore discovers Jim at The Queens, changing a barrel. Angry, he tells Liz they need to talk.

Don makes an effort to be nice to Ivy, grateful for her loyalty. Curly receives the redundancy list from Bettabuy's Head Office, it includes Maureen's name. Reg accuses Curly of adding her to the list himself out of spite. Des drives the Duckworths to Blackpool. He urges Vera not to lose her temper - they are in the right. Des is impressed as Vera tells Doreen how wretched she feels and agrees with her that Blackpool is a better place to bring up a child. Richard Willmore tells Liz that Jim must stay away from The Queens. Bet is pleased when Charlie asks her out for dinner. The Duckworths and Des celebrate when the Hortons agree to let them have access to Tommy during holidays. Vera thanks Des for all his help. Bet enjoys her night out with Charlie; afterwards he takes her back to his truck cab. She tells him about Alec and they discover that they're both lonely people. Liz realises she's going to have to chose between The Queens and Jim. He is certain that she'll stay at the pub.

Reg and Maureen go off on honeymoon. Audrey is annoyed when Alf refuses to spend money now they're retired. She accuses him of being stingy. Denise has the picture valued and finds it's worth £120. Vera decides it'll be worth having the pot dog valued. Kevin offers to buy the painting back from Denise for £5, explaining about the mistake. She agrees to let him have it back. Sally is horrified when she learns it's worth £120. Vera has the dog valued at £45, a pair would be worth £185. Reg and Maureen relax in the Lake District. She is moved when he makes her phone Maud to check on her. Martin takes Maud in the Rovers where Percy tries to make conversation with her. She rebuffs him, telling him that he reminds her of this boring man she once met in the Legion who spent a boring night talking about how he cooked for Monty under fire in the desert in the War. Sally offers Denise the picture back but she refuses it. They agree to sell it and split the profits. Ken tells Liz that the brewery had no right to make her choose between The Queens and Jim. He encourages her to seek compensation.

Coronation Street Season 35 - Episode 14
Liz feels it's a waste of time trying to get money out of the brewery. Jim accuses her of having something to hide. The honeymooners return, Maud being disappointed that Reg hasn't got a hernia when he carries Maureen over the threshold. Martin comforts Maud when she breaks down, upset at the thought of having to live with Reg. She fears he'll put her in a home if she doesn't toe the line. Raquel is grateful when Des offers to accompany her to Ben Cunningham's studio but Tanya gets her to go on her own, saying it'll look like she's a little girl. Tanya then tells Des that Raquel didn't want him around. Audrey lets Alf spend the day at the Cash and Carry thinking he's really getting her a surprise. Ben takes loads of pictures of Raquel then asks her to take off all her make up so he can photograph her bone structure. She is annoyed when Des turns up, as she has no make-up on. Liz is depressed when the Job Centre have nothing to offer her. She decides she will make Richard Willmore pay, claiming constructive dismissal. Audrey is stunned when Alf shows her the surprise - loads of cheap groceries for their retirement. She is so annoyed he agrees to buy her a conservatory. Des tries to apologise to Raquel but she feels he ruined a professional experience for her. She and Tanya are stunned when Des shouts at Raquel in the bar, telling her he cares about her.

Coronation Street Season 35 - Episode 15
Alf is depressed on his last day at the shop. Jack thinks he has a winning certainty but no money to bet with. Whilst she lets the Electricity man into Tanya's flat, Alma noses around the place. Reg puts his flat on the market. He gets Kevin to trade his mini in for a van. Alma is puzzled as Tanya's flat doesn't look lived in and realises that she must be using it as a love nest. She worries she's on the game. Raquel is thrilled with Ben Cunningham's photographs. Jack sells the pot dog for £25. Vera passes the antique shop on Nightingale Street and sees it. Thinking it'll make a pair she buys it for £48. Jack is horrified when his horse falls. Vera is furious when she realises that she's bought her own dog back. He tries to run away but she hurls the dog at him and it smashes against a wall. Ivy is thrilled when Don moves back into her bed.

Coronation Street Season 35 - Episode 25
Maureen and Reg are devastated by Maud's move and Maureen threatens to fight her in court. Tanya is upset that she can only see Alex Christie when he escapes from his wife. He promises her a trip to Amsterdam. Reg is horrified to find Maud sold the house for £10,000 less than the Magills had offered. He tries to stall Rita on buying her house but she refuses, telling him that she's going to put it back on the market. Reg discovers a section in the contract saying Maud can change her mind before twenty-one days. He determines to get Maud to change her mind. When Maud refuses to tear the contract up, Maureen threatens to leave home. Maureen accuses her of ruining her happiness. Reg encourages Maureen to stand against Maud and helps her pack. They move into his flat at No.12. Raquel feels she might be moving in with Des soon. Denise is aghast when Ken takes her to the Over 60's Club for a joke. He then takes her to a pub where she tells him her life story. Ivy asks Curly to take Vera back on at Bettabuy but he refuses. Raquel mentions to Des that she'd like to move in and is upset when he cools.

Coronation Street Season 35 - Episode 26
Vera catches Curly training a newly employed starter at Bettabuy and verbally lays into him for not giving her the job. Des tells Raquel that she can move in with him and he gives her a door key. Raquel doesn't notice that Tanya is furious. Ken goes for a meal at Denise's flat but arrives early and catches her bringing in a takeaway and about to pretend that she cooked it. He finds the situation funny and any embarrassment is avoided. Emily persuades Bernard to start his new life with a holiday. He agrees and asks her to go with him. Maureen feels guilty about moving away from Maud. Percy visits Maud who breaks down and complains that she has lost her daughter to Reg. An upset Maureen drags Reg round to see her mother. Tanya goes to her flat alone where Alex Christie rings her to say that he can’t come round.

Coronation Street Season 35 - Episode 27
Vera is embarressed to find that Raquel has moved in with Des after making remarks to him about her past lovers. Steve is horrified when Mike gives him a £1,200 rates bill, telling him that under their contract he is responsible for payment. Tanya tells Alex that their relationship is no longer special and he's beginning to treat her like he does his wife. Emily and Bernard book their holiday with adjoining rooms. Vera blames Ivy for her not getting the job at Bettabuy but Ivy tells her it was her own fault. Liz tells Mike that he's pathetic for trying to ruin Steve. Maureen can't find Maud anywhere and grows frantic. Des and Raquel agree to wipe the slate clean and forget the past. Maureen is furious to find Maud drinking in the Rovers, having spent the day with Martin and Percy in Blackpool. Des and Raquel throw a party to cement their relationship and Curly and Des make up their differences. Jim warns Mike that he won't stand by and see Steve being pushed around. Sally spreads the gossip that Emily and Bernard are going away on a dirty weekend together. Tanya is pleased when Alex cancels an overnight meeting to be with her.
