Morgan throws a co-ed slumber party and Moesha invites Kim, Hakeem and Niecy. At the party, they find out that the boys sleepover, too. Also, Niecy finds the courage to talk to Marco and Mary Ellen tries desperately to get into the party. After seeing Jeremy dancing with various females, Moesha finally decides to talk to him. Meanwhile, Frank and Dee have a romantic evening at home, but they're interrupted by the news that there are boys at the slumber party. After seeing Moesha walking downstairs and holding hands with Jeremy, Frank scolds Moesha; resulting in Moesha moving out.

He tells Ray that he wants to get his GED after receiving a promotion as full-mechanic and that he will need time off to study. After failing his exam, Tyreke gives up and decides to take Ray up on his promotion. When Tyreke visits Tia, they get into a argument and face a breakup. Once the girls learn of Tyreke's dilemma, he takes the GED exam again and succeeds. Khadijah, Regine and Scooter are embarrassed when they are the only ones in costume at the party because everyone else donated their costume money to charity. Khadijah gets upset when several women are surprised to learn that Scooter has a girlfriend, and orders him to introduce her to every woman at the party. He finally asks about her territorial behavior, and she tells him about the fax and perfume. He says that he had a business dinner with one of the company's artists, and that the perfume is a promotional item. Back in California, Dorian returns home from boot camp and has proven to the family (and himself) that he has changed his old habits. But when Frank immediately approaches Dorian with a contract from boot camp explaining if Dorian doesn't abide by the rules of Frank, he can be permanently removed from the house. Upset that Frank would approach him with the contract so soon, Dorian signs the contract and backs out on Frank's plans to go fishing. Niecy tells the Mitchells that she heard a rumor that Andell is losing The Den. After stopping by The Den and learning that the result of the rumor was true, Moesha goes to Frank to see if they can do a fund-raiser to save The Den. A company called Biggs Mortuary plans to buy the property and replace The Den with a casket store. Moesha goes by to see Mrs. Biggs to appeal on behalf of The Den. During a farewell party, Moesha tells Andell that she has saved The Den. instead of being happy, Andell is angry. Moesha didn't realize that Andell really wanted to leave to do something different with her life. Andell is able to persuade Mrs. Biggs to buy The Den again. When Barbara's sassy sister-in-law, Maya Wilkes, demands that she will not baby-sit for Reecy and Ray-Ray the same night that Barbara is expected to go out for the evening with her husband, Dorian volunteers to baby-sit, but discovers that they are more than a handful. Dorian tells Barbara that he should take his new relationship with her slowly after a few disagreements. Meanwhile, Moesha and Frank discuss the true facts about Frank's affair with Barbara and his rough marriage with Marguerite.

But when ""Mayhem"" finds out that they've been bumped back, the result turns to a fight leaving Hakeem in the hospital. Later, Moesha realizes that she is still in love with Hakeem.

Lenae tells Dorian that she has booked he and his rap group to attend a performance in San Diego and that they'll have to leave early, but Dorian's family is throwing him a graduation party on the same day. While trying to exit his own party, Dorian causes a stir which leaves everyone surprised. Frank and Dee confront Dorian and reveals that he wants to pursue a music career rather than going to college. Later, Dorian arrives at Lenae's house hoping that he could move in with her. But when she shuts him down, Dorian shows up at his last resort...Hakeem's apartment. Meanwhile, Hakeem lands in the doghouse with Moesha when he refuses to retrieve the spare key to his apartment from his neighbor Shania.

Niecy wants to share an apartment with Moesha over the summer because she can't afford the rent. Then Hakeem wants Moesha to move in with him since Jerome is going away to clown college. Moesha can't decide what to do about Hakeem's proposal and asks her roommates for advice, which they give freely. As everyone prepares to leave their suite, they admit they'll miss each other. Jerome becomes too emotional and retreats to the bathroom. Soon after, he returns with a positive pregnancy test in his hand. Elsewhere, Dorian gives Myles a tour around the recording studio when his former acquaintance, Lamont, arrives with his girlfriend, Diamond. Since Lamont helped Dorian out the night he spent in jail, he wants a half interest in Dorian's band, ""What!."" Dorian refuses and Lamont says he understands. Later, Lamont and his sidekick, Big Norm, visit Dorian and reiterate their demands for half of ""What!."" When Dorian refuses again, Lamont becomes even more threatening. Meanwhile, Hakeem still wa
