The Bill - Season 4 - Episode 4
Sgt. Cryer leads a raid to enforce an eviction order on a squat occupied by upper-class kids, watched by Councillor Thomas who is in charge of housing in the area. The raid is successful, but Thomas makes himself scarce as soon as a journalist arrives. P.C. Smith and P.C. Haynes are called to the local library where a homeless woman, Marie Tucker, and her kids are sheltering. Haynes moves her along by giving her a council housing brochure, but when they are called to a break-in at Councillor Thomas' home, they realise Marie has locked herself in the bathroom. Insp. Frazer arrives with a social worker who had reported Marie missing and they try to talk her out. When she goes quiet, they break down the door only to find Marie has taken an overdose and died.

The Bill - Season 17 - Episode 38
DS Vik Singh goes undercover to a 'car cruise', where he becomes involved with a well-organised car ringing gang led by Kevin North. Meanwhile, DC Mickey Webb tries to cultivate an unofficial 15-year old snout named Tyro Shaw, in the hope that he will grass up his father, Steve Shaw. Singh poses as a car thief, and is soon in with the gang, even gaining a meeting with North's boss - Jennifer Salter. As Webb gets frustrated by Shaw's dead-end leads, Singh pushes the boy too far about his involvement with the gang.
#3 - Old Habits
The Bill - Season 4 - Episode 39
W.P.C. Brind is called to the house of an elderly lady, Mrs Lomax, who has just been robbed. The old lady is in such a state of shock, she attacks Brind and then suffers a heart attack and dies. It appears there's been a spate of burglaries against several old people from the Salisbury Day Centre, and Brind attends with Insp. Frazer to give a talk on crime prevention. D.C. Dashwood talks to the previous victims and comes up with a possible suspect: Terry Newton, a young lad doing community service at the centre. Terry's probation officer is obstructive to the investigation, and Dashwood is convinced they have their man. Terry admits to Brind that he thinks he knows who it was: Danny Harvey, the junkie newphew of one of the day centre members. D.S. Roach and Dashwood go to Maurice Harvey's flat - he's an old villain from the time of the Krays - and find that Danny has overdosed in the next room, but his uncle doesn't care.

There are complaints against both Danny and Des - Danny for his investigation into the assault on Tina Pope's bit on the side, and Des for beating up a protestor outside the scientist's research lab.

PC Des Taviner finds a terrified shoeless Chinese man on the Coal Lane estate, but when he is taken to the station for interview, there are serious doubts about the Chinese interpreter sent by the Yard, Mai Ann Wey. Unaware of these doubts, Taviner seeks Mai Ann's help when he discovers a flat full of illegal immigrants on the estate. When the immigrants all disappear and there are signs of violence, it becomes clear that Mai Ann is working for the snakehead gang, and Taviner turns to a reluctant Chinese priest, Father Kwong, to locate the immigrants. The court case against the boys who gang-raped Louanna Shaw nearly falls apart when Louanna's friend Beth loses her temper in court and the defence lawyer sees PC Kerry Young discussing the case with her husband PC Luke Ashton. Only Insp. Gina Gold's forceful testimony saves the day, but Young is furious with Ashton for jeopardising the case and insists their marriage is over. A distraught PC Polly Page is told by her friend Cathy Bradford to cover up her involvement in the death of Dr Owen Preston, but as Polly types up her statement for the police she receives a letter naming her as the beneficiary of Owen's will - will Polly's conscience get the better of her? CSU gains a new officer - sexual offences expert DC Ramani De Costa, who hasn't even reached the station when she is assigned to investigate the alleged rape of a university student. Acting DI Samantha Nixon has her hands full when a daring armed robbery is carried out on Sun Hill's patch, but as Nixon takes on the case, she is distracted by the presence of reporter Dougie Pritchard, who threatens to reveal the father of Nixon's daughter Abigail, a fact passed on to him by the late Sgt Matt Boyden. Sgt Sheelagh Murphy betrays more than professional concern when shots are fired as PC Des Taviner pursues the armed robbers.

Okaro is determined to nail big-time criminal Bob Coles, who is suspected to have taken part in people smuggling - but when Manson dangles the carrot of a free trip to Paris for the officer who arrests Coles, Hunter and Thatcher both promise their partners a weekend away. When Perkins eventually wins the trip, he auctions it off to Hunter and Thatcher in aid of charity. Meanwhile, MIT arrive to question Taviner about the Sun Hill firebombing, and find themselves investigating his murder instead. Murphy is first in the interview room, but is furious when Ackland refuses to confirm Murphy's innocence. Page begins to feel disillusioned about her return to the Met. Dunbar's editor tells her to go after Okaro.

The Bill - Season 20 - Episode 35
Manson's suspicions about Cavanaugh continue during an obbo on the diamond heist suspects. When the suspects get away from them, Cavanaugh doesn't seem particularly concerned. Concerned for the safety of Nixon and Tait, who are undercover as waiting staff on the target boat, Manson orders Hunter on to the boat as well, but when the suspects work out that police are on board, guns are drawn. Kent finds himself in trouble when Roy Stafford turns up at the station to report his assault. Gold is delighted that she may be able to get rid of the evil Gabriel at last, but a Cole Lane resident arrives and gives Kent an alibi. Fox asks Gold out on a date, and Okaro continues to receive hate mail.

The Bill - Season 20 - Episode 51
With insufficient forensic evidence to charge serial rape suspect Alan Kennedy, Manson and Nixon have just twenty-four hours to extract a confession from him. Fox, who previously defended Kennedy on an assault charge, watches the proceedings with great interest, but he jeopardises his relationship with Gold when he makes a comment about her not having children. With CID scouring Kennedy's mother's flat for forensic evidence, Manson and Nixon continue their interview strategy. When Wallis finds a knife in his flat, Nixon manages to piece together the evidence and Kennedy confesses. With Kennedy behind bars, the relief attend a party organised by Okaro, but tragedy strikes when a bomb explodes.

Jim strikes an £11,000 win on the dogs, but ends up losing all his money. New PC Roger Valentine arrives at Sun Hill, and immediately offends Lance when he finds out Lance is gay. Meanwhile, Shirley Moss finds herself in trouble once again, and Sam worries when CCTV of Abi being taken by a man is discovered.

Phil and Terry continue the investigation into the stabbing of Asian victim Hannah Begum, but suspect that her evidence isn't true to the events of the incident. Meanwhile, racial unrest continues to loom over the borough. Sheelagh, Gabriel and Laura are forced to break up a gang of youths smashing up cars on a local estate, while Leela and Roger are called to the scene of a violent assault in a video shop. Leela persuades her father to make a statement after she discovers that he witnessed an Asian man carry out the attack. Meanwhile, the funerals of Ken, Andrea and Marilyn take place, but Neil is torn over whether to attend the funeral of his former lover, or his friend and former colleague.

The Bill - Season 21 - Episode 26
Sam and Terry continue covert surveillance of Alan Kennedy, but their day goes from bad to worse when an unwitting JT puts an innocent woman's life at risk by giving her Kennedy's address to pick up her lost handbag. With the operation blown, Terry soon realises that the woman's accusations against Kennedy are unfounded. Meanwhile, Tony and Reg deal with an interesting case where two burglars appear to have broken into the same flat at the same time, while Roger's first day in VPU finds him and Ramani dealing with the case of an elderly man who has been robbed and assaulted whilst withdrawing money. Roger soon discovers that the robber is someone close to home.
