Three months after being involved in an incident that went wrong, Nick Berrof, of the Montreal Police Force, returns to service. Despite Sergeant Houle's protests, Commander Gendron decided to have him patrolled in the company of Benoît “Ben” Chartier. He has just been hired after spending 15 years in the Sûreté du Québec in the provinces, and we quickly nicknamed him “the deer”. Still tormented by the mishap that forced him to rest, Nick would have liked to work alone. He is intractable with his new partner. Tyler Joseph, who realizes this, is responsible for giving the newcomer a better welcome. An armed robbery in a pizza restaurant gives Ben the opportunity to prove his worth, but also to discover that not everything is easy for the cops who work in the big city. Nick, Ben, Tyler and Bérangère converge on the apartment of the gang rape suspects. An inattention from Tyler, whose drinking problems are increasingly evident, puts the team at risk.
