The Going Home Club members each try to compose a version of the poem to describe themselves. Although assumed to be a "serene blockhead" type, Karin brings in cookies that she made herself. She reveals a level of Home Ec Club-cultivated "Girl Power" that astounds her fellow members. Karin tells a story about a peer from middle school attending a social mixer. Sakura decides to have the club assume the role of boys and girls and practice so they'll know what to do if they're ever get caught up in a social mixer.

However, the anonymous sender turns out to be three elementary school girls Jūn Goto, Nozomi Momijidani, and Sora Kaneshiro, who request that he play his music with their band in an upcoming concert. They perform first for him, and despite being highly impressed with their musical skills and vintage instruments, is still unsure about his decision.

However, to his surprise, Odd-Eyes returns to his Extra Deck instead of the Graveyard, allowing Yuya to Pendulum Summon it once more and win the duel. Despite not being able to become Yuya's apprentice, Sora instead decides to become Yuya's friend and joins the You Show Duel School.

As for the answer she receives... The Go-Home Club's tactical supervisor, Oohagi Botan, is the heir to the ancient Hagizuki-ryuu style of martial arts. Her extraordinary abilities involve slicing through a plastic bottle with a single chop. What is the story behind her "Summer Bear Tour"?! Kokonoe Claire is the daughter of the head of the Kokonoe Corporation. She feels no sense of loss when she spends money. Yuya continues to be hounded by Sora, who keeps asking to be his apprentice so he can learn how to Pendulum Summon. After pressure from the others, Yuya agrees to duel against Sora, having him drop the subject of apprenticeship if he wins. After evading Sora's attacks with some well-timed Action cards, Yuya performs a Pendulum Summon and gains the upper hand in the duel. However, Sora brings out the Fusion monster, Death Toy Scissor Bear, preparing to get serious.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V - Season 1 - Episode 23

Gongenzaka starts training with Yaiba, whilst Sora manages to obtain his sixth victory and earn a spot in the Junior Youth Championship. Meanwhile, Mieru continues to put pressure on Yuya with both her fortune telling and her Flip Monsters, using an Action Card to place a lock on Yuya's deck. Despite a chandelier suddenly collapsing, Yuya manages to overcome Mieru's prediction and grab an Action Card to remove the lock. Drawing Yuzu's Polymerization card, which he had accidentally put in his deck during the morning rush, Yuya manages to fuse Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon and Stargazer Magician to summon Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, using its power to defeat Mieru. Returning the Polymerization card to Yuzu, Yuya becomes determined to seek out more new ways of evolving Pendulum Summoning, though is first met with dubious affection from Mieru.

As Tarotay's abilities prove effective against Yuya's Pendulum Monsters, Mieru predicts a future that could very well claim Yuya's life.
