Six powerful Monstroid machines close in on the free Etherians' celebration. Unfortunately, one of Orko's spell mishaps has caused the Swords of Power and Protection to disappear! Adam and Adora have no choice but to fend off the Monstroids without the powers of their alter egos. Snout Sprout, Frosta, Madame Razz and Broom help out all they can, but the Monstroids keep coming. Can Orko find the lost swords in time?

Veronica and Summerlee are out gathering fruit and floral specimens when they are attacked by a huge bee, one the size of a man. Summerlee is stung, and it leaves him near death. The only cure is the nectar in the heart of the hive. Veronica, Malone and Roxton travel to the hive, leaving Challenger and Marguerite behind at the treehouse to care for Summerlee. Summerlee is delirious with fever, and imagines Marguerite is his long-dead wife. She plays along, to sooth him. In the meantime, Veronica, Malone and Roxton do make it to the hive, work their way deep into it, gather nectar, and head back quickly to the treehouse, just in time to save Summerlee's life.

Winston Knight, a TV anchorman, gains great fame because a serial killer, the Machete Killer, will only contact him. What no one knows is that Knight is using a cursed camera that lets him create an exact duplicate of himself that goes out and kills for him, providing him with an ironclad alibi and great ratings. As long as he destroys the negative within the allotted time, Knight is fine. Unfortunately, Ryan's new girlfriend Cathy witnesses one of the murders and realizes Knight is somehow the Machete Killer. One of Knight's photo-duplicates kills her, but the trio are close on Knight's trail. Knight eventually fails to destroy one of his indestructible duplicates in time, and disintegrates. However, the duplicate has little time to savor its new life before it dies of previously inflicted wounds.

The head of security at a bank is first drugged and framed as an alcoholic, then killed later by a telephone repairman. An Immortal, Victor Hanson, is responsible for both: he plans to steal the Valentino Diamond and needed the security plans. Victor is also making a play for Amanda, hoping to get her to help him steal the diamond before he kills her. The security guy is Nick's old mentor, and he soon spots Victor despite his disguises and realizes he is the same guy who is dating Amanda. Amanda initially refuses to believe Nick's accusations, thinking he's jealous. However, Victor tries to blow up Nick and Lucy lets Amanda knows about it. Rather than go ahead with the robbery, she fights Victor but Nick breaks in. He shoots Victor and then engages in pursuit. He's about ready to cut off Victor's head with a knife when Captain Magnus, another friend of the security guy, shoots Victor and he falls into the water. The body isn't found, and Nick and Amanda reconcile.
