Abbas is on his way home from Costa Rica and will go directly to the meeting with Mette, Stilton and Olivia. Linn wants to get hold of Wendt’s materials at any price.

Bosques says that the woman who was murdered on the beach on North Koster is Adelita Rivera and that she had a relationship with Nils. The murder at Nordkoster and the murder of Nils Wendt are now the same investigation. Olivia takes the help of Stilton’s former informant Mink.

Olivia contacts a child who was witness to the beach murder. From him she gets a hair slide with a few hairs on it. If there is DNA left on it, perhaps it could be the key to the murder mystery. The police finally breathe some life into Wendt’s mobile and see who he was last talking to. Linn Magnusson now realises that she must find the original recording of the conversation that could destroy her life.

Stilton finds his friend Vera severely beaten and decides to try to find the perpetrators. Olivia has received information that a former escort girl, Jackie Berglund, figured in the inquiry on beach case and decides to examine her a little closer. Linn Magnuson, CEO of the mining company, receives a malicious call and realises that the call could crush both her and the company.

Gunvald sets out on his own to find the woman's murderer, with Säpo on his heels. Martin Beck is ordered to arrest Gunvald and his loyalty to his colleague is now put to the test.

With several people having an interest that Veden stays missing the team tries to find the politician and the true perpetrator while Beck is grappling privately with his ambivalent feelings about working with ex Lena again.

Two patrolling cops stumble on to three criminals who have just stolen large amounts of explosives, and are killed in cold blood. Martin Beck and his team must now work day and night to find out who the killers are and what they are planning to do with the explosives before it's too late. Meanwhile, Gunvald Larsson who was a close friend of one of the murdered cops is ignoring all rules in his quest for revenge.

Martin Beck, Gunvald Larsson and Alice Levander investigate the mysterious murder of an accountant that was found shot to death at the airport parking. At the same time a reporter receives a package from an anonymous source, with information regarding the embezzling of funds that should have been used for fixing up nuclear reactors. When the reporter contacts Beck, his home gets blown up by a bomb.

A mass grave is found in the fictional village of Monk District somewhere in Sweden. The tomb found the remains of five people who had been killed. Cege Ljung (Kjell Bergqvist) is asked to put together a group to try to solve the case. In the vicinity of the tomb are two courtyards, on one farm three men grow organic vegetables and on the other, which is decaying, lives four odd character. CEGES Task Force consists of five strong personalities who are living together on a boat in order to be near the murder scene.
