Colonel Emilio Vasquez ""buys"" 200 head from Quince, Jed and Simon in Mexico. Jed goes to town to see if the pesos are worth anything. The gringo who runs the town says they're just paper. Emilio's wife, Maria, was left behind and is in the bar. Emilio sneaks into town and kills the gringo, but doesn't get Maria. Jed escapes with Maria. Jed and Emilio argue over the terms of her return.

Wagon Train - Season 1 - Episode 7

It is still early days on the wagon train trail. So when one morning the body of one of the men is discovered and money and a land deed stolen, and the evidence points to Indians, Flint won't believe it. He can't convince the travellers, though, that they are unlikely to run into Indian trouble this soon into their journey and that Indians would have no need of the items stolen. The travellers point to a tomahawk left behind by the raiders. Given the conflicting evidence, Major Adams asks Flint to stay behind and see what he can find out. As the train moves out, Flint follows the clues which lead him back to a small settlement the wagon train passed through a few days earlier. A chance encounter with a teenage girl and her overbearing stepfather make him suspect that there is more to this little outpost than first appears.

Before the Civil War Jean Le Bec was a young musician with a special talent for the violin. His family were too poor to pay for his musical studies so he was sponsored by a rich southern family. The daughter was called Mary. When her family lost everthing in the war, Mary's father entrusted her well-being to Jean. Mary had relatives in San Francisco so they decided to go there and they were going to get there via the wagon train. Jean didn't tell Mary that he was having trouble raising the cash for the journey. While the train was forming at St. Joseph, Missouri, as a last resort to raise the money, Jean used his precious violin as a stake in a card game, which he won but was accused of cheating. The allegation was false but it cost him his violin to get out alive. When Mary realised what he had done she went to the saloon to try to buy the fiddle back, but things went badly wrong and Jean ended up by killing the son of the man who practically owned the town. Solo goes to India to investigate the death of a fellow U.N.C.L.E. agent in an airline crash, and discovers that a cult of Thuggees headed by a maharajah (Murray Matheson) is causing the crashes in order to loot the passengers. But Solo and THRUSH agent Tom Simpson (Linden Chiles) are looking to recover one item in particular - U.N.C.L.E.'s new polygraph device.

Solo and Illya travel to the Caribbean to help Dr. Delgado, who is under a voodoo curse and in a zombielike trance thanks to the local dictator, El Supremo, and his chief of police, Captain Ramirez. The U.N.C.L.E. agents are assisted by Suzy, an American hairdresser whom El Supremo will not let leave the island. They eventually turn to voodoo queen Mama Lou to turn the tables on him.

Solo and Illya visit the laboratory of Dr. True, who has discovered how to extract gold from seawater. But Dr. True dies from a poison given him by THRUSH agent Randolph, and Randolph also kills his wife Amanda. The gold extraction formula was distributed in portions by True to his daughters, in inscriptions on a photo of himself. Solo and Illya meet Sandy True, who accompanies them to Rome, to find her half sister Margo, now unhappily married to the destitute Baron de Fanzini to London, to find the next sister Imogen, who has been arrested by a Constablefor indecent exposure and finally the Alps, to find Yvonne, who is breaking off an unhappy relationship with Karl Von Kesser. But after decoding the message in Japan, Solo, Illya and Sandy are captured by Randolph and taken to THRUSH central for execution.
