Plucky doesn't do his homework and he needs a few days to do it, so he builds a time machine, but that is already taken care of when the Plucky of the future pops into his living room. The Pluckys go back a few days when Plucky was first assigned the homework and the current Plucky gets the future Plucky to do his homework for him while he plays around with the time machine. Plucky takes the bunnies on a trip in time and inadvertantly bailed out in mid-trip. Plucky then ends up in prehistoric Acme Acres where he is instantly proclaimed leader. The prehistoric gang is at the mercy of prehistoric Montana Max and a giant Dizzy Devil monster. The bunnies eventually find Plucky and he takes the time machine and the Dizzy monster back with him to the present time, leaving Buster and Babs in prehistoric Acme Acres.
