This week Brian receives a Father's Day gift from Mel, leaving Sophie upset that she has never been rewarded for her efforts on Mother's Day. She decides to make an extra special effort to be the kind of mum that's hard to forget. Meanwhile, Josh fails miserably to scam a free computer game from Poppy, the new girl in school, and is tricked into giving back the money he owes Lucy. Mel is distressed to hear that Brian thinks she's a boy (and an ugly one at that) and wishes someone could see her feminine side.
