#5 - A Better Way

Ssu-Tsung is involuntarily committed and diagnosed with schizophrenia, devastating the Ying family. The child-killer Chen Chang is deemed high-risk for reoffending, and Wang She struggles with his refusal to take medication. Mei-Mei takes the children and leaves, putting their marriage in jeopardy. Ta-Chih witnesses Ssu-Yueh's courage and decides to go home to convince her parents to investigate why her brother committed the shooting.

#10 - The Diagnosis

The news labels Ssu-Tsung as an unstable, debt-ridden director, and Ssu-Yueh blames Ta-Chih's news station.
