Gina is studying to become a veterinarian. When asked by Big Bird to examine him, she explains vet work, then tries “mock patients” - including a costumed Mr. Snuffleupagus - to practice. Big Bird volunteers to help with her studies.

#4 - Big Bird and Elmo Play Hide-and-Seek

Season 30 - Episode 3 - Aired 11/18/1998

Big Bird and Elmo play hide-and-seek. While Big Bird counts, Elmo hides under the garage steps and tries not to be found. Big Bird searches around Hooper’s Store, the Fix-It Shop, and all over, following tips from his friends - but Elmo keeps hidden.

#5 - Zoe's New Zoemobile

Season 30 - Episode 4 - Aired 11/19/1998

Zoe wants her own wheels after seeing others riding bikes, skateboarding, and roller-skating. She ends up getting a new “Zoemobile,” giving her a fun way to move around like her friends.

#6 - Miles' Video Project

Season 30 - Episode 5 - Aired 11/20/1998

Miles is making a school video project about where he lives. Gordon runs the camera, and Gabi holds Miles’s speech cards. Their first take is interrupted by neighbors walking in front of the camera, but they decide it’s okay because the neighbors are part of Miles’s community. They also try to simulate snow using torn paper to make the video reflect wintertime on Sesame Street.

#7 - Maria Pet Sits at the Fix-It Shop

Season 30 - Episode 6 - Aired 11/23/1998

Maria spends the day looking after everyone’s pets while her neighbors tend to other tasks. She manages a variety of pets and helps them — including a bird, a kitten (Markel), etc. At the end of the day, after all the pets are retrieved by their owners, Maria sighs in relief at having “alone time,” and Big Bird and the pets head off.

#8 - Big Bird and Zoe have colds

Season 30 - Episode 17 - Aired 12/29/1998

Gordon informs the viewer that Big Bird has a cold and is confined to his nest to get some much-needed rest. Big Bird feels bad because he had a playdate planned with Zoe. Meanwhile at her apartment, Zoe has a cold too, and Gina watches over her while her parents are at work.

#9 - Oscar's trash sale

Season 30 - Episode 30 - Aired 1/15/1999

Oscar's pet elephant Fluffy has taken up swing dancing, but there isn't enough room in Oscar's trash can for Fluffy to dance. Oscar has taken some of his trash out to make more room, but Fluffy continues to bump into things. He isn't sure what to do when Gabi suggests Oscar should have a garage sale like her parents sometimes have while cleaning out the Fix-It Shop. Oscar ropes Gabi into helping him sell some trash, though Gabi has no idea who would want to buy it.

#10 - Rosita Can't Fly

Season 30 - Episode 61 - Aired 5/3/1999

Maria catches Rosita trying to use her wings to fly like the birds. Rosita thinks that since everyone in her family has wings, she should be able to fly. But when Maria asks if any of Rosita's family members actually can fly, she realizes that none of them can. Rosita is upset about not being able to fly, so Maria takes her to someone who will understand how she feels ... someone who happens to be a big bird.

#11 - Prairie Dawn's Friendship Pageant

Season 30 - Episode 25 - Aired 1/8/1999

Big Bird welcomes the viewer and is approached by Snuffy to play tag. Big Bird offers to be "it", an act Snuffy appreciates. They start singing a song about being best friends, joined by other pairs of friends (Miles and Gabi, Telly and Baby Bear, Gordon and Susan, and a Dinger and Honker).

#12 - Zoe Won't Share the Zoemobile

Season 30 - Episode 65 - Aired 5/7/1999

Zoe arrives in her Zoemobile for her playdate with Elmo. Elmo wants to play with it, since he's never done so before. Zoe starts a game of "Zoemobile Gas Station," where Elmo wants to drive the car. Zoe instead makes him play the gas station attendant, where he fills her tank, washes the windshield and fills the tires with air. She says she'll let him drive the Zoemobile...after she "drives to Alaska".
