Every 10,000 years, teams from all over the universe are gathered by the mysterious Avatar to compete in the Great Race of Ōban, a race with much more at stake than just honor or prize money. Jordan believes that he and Molly need a rest from all of the intense racing they've survived. Para-dice, a cat-like creature and a racing prodigy, deceives the two of them into a racing arcade. They are unaware of the arcade being linked up to the Arrow II, and they almost destroy it while it is in the garage. Even with a damaged Star-Racer, can Molly out-race Para-dice in the arena?

Ceres, a creature made of sound, is the Earth team's opponent in the third round, but he won't be up against the regular team. Rick has returned and appears to be better than ever. Nothing is clear to Eva anymore. Personally, she doesn't see why she would want to race anymore, since she is unable to revive her mother because of what the Ultimate Prize's nature reveals. However, she can't throw everything away, since a Crog victory would lead to Earth being obliterated. Eva must stop Kross from winning.
