A rival pimp known as the Butcher becomes concerned that Mosca's control of the city is becoming too great and storms into La Paradis when he is away, murders Valentine and takes the girls hostage. On his return Mosca is left with no choice but to embark on a bloody showdown with his rival.

Rose is furious when she finds out about the deal, fearing that Antonetti is just a conman and the women will end up as slave workers.
