Located in Seocho-dong, small law firms populate the Hyungmin Building on each of its floors, where we find five associate lawyers: cynical ninth-year associate Ju-hyeong, the carefree Mun-jeong, the independent Sang-gi, the talkative Chang-won, and spirited newcomer Hui-ji. Just like other office workers in Seocho, they take the subway to work each morning and start counting down the minutes to lunchtime as soon as they arrive. They bicker and aren’t that kind to each other, but they share meals and what's on their minds. There are no great moments of justice or dramatic surprises. But there are intense moments, and there are happy moments. Full of laughs and occasional tears, this is the story of five associates navigating the ups and downs as they grow not just as lawyers, but as people.
